Great Clips

I went to get a haircut here because I couldn’t remember the last time I had gotten one. Usually, when I’m getting my hair treated at another salon, I have them cut my hair then. But after seeing how bad my dead ends were, I decided to come here to just get a quick trim.
The wait wasn’t too bad, but then again I did go here on a Tuesday at 12:45. The stylist was okay, but kept telling me how dry my hair was. Yup, I get it, trust me. I just had my hair lightened, so I knew it was dry. Other than that, she listened to what I wanted and took her time with my trim, which I greatly appreciated.
My main problem with this location, and branch in general, is that they don’t seem to know how to do newer cuts or styles. My dead end trim ended up looking good, but I definitely wouldn’t go here to get anything drastic done. I probably will only go here when I need something simple done, and for anything else I’ll go to my salon.

I stepped into this greatclips and noticed a packed waiting room.
«Looks like it going to be a long wait» I said politely.
«No, it’s moving quickly» the hairstylist replied with a smile.
Nearly ONE hour later, and im still waiting.
Sidenote: I did mention I want a specify hair cut person, which could have delayed the procrss, but that was information I did make her aware of.
My time is valuable to. Stop being «nice» and give customers the truth. I could have left and returned, instead waste my time off of poor judgement of time and false reassurances.

I stopped in for a trim after receiving a coupon in the mail. I typically frequent another salon chain, but hadn’t settled on a haircut place since moving into this area, and who can resist a $ 7 haircut?
Lynn listened carefully to what I wanted to accomplish with my hair, talked it over with me, and proceeded to give me exactly the cut I wanted. I also really appreciated how gentle she was with my long hair. I previously had a bad experience at another salon nearby with a stylist who was very rough and caused quite a bit of breakage, so it was a relief that Lynn was so cautious while combing out any tangles.
Minus one star for the location in general, as I actually had a rather awkward encounter with another stylist who was unable to understand my attempts at explaining the cut I wanted. Thankfully, she asked Lynn to take me instead.

It is by far the worst experience, your hair stylist is more busy taking care of walking customers and fixing problems then completing the job they supposed to at first.
In the middle of a haircut they kept you hanging and start another things, noop that’s not right.

We checked in and waited. We were next on the list & got skipped. When I asked why the excuse was oh I’m sorry I don’t see your last name on the list.
I don’t see how that matters or why so I walked out. They already had someone else on the chair.

Online checking is not accurate I don’t understand why after you check in that time will increase plus every time somebody walk in you get interrupted I know somebody had to check people in but that’s just how the system is on this place

Just received the worst haircut of my adult life from Mary. She’s too old and not current with point cutting and razor cutting techniques.
I wanted a long, razored, angled bob — my hair was blunt cut, making it bubbled and looking like an old woman. She also went way too short and looks absolutely nothing like the four photos showing all angles, that I brought in. You get what you pay for. Skip this cheap dump chain and go to modern stylists!

My 3 yr old and husband came here for a haircut and both cuts turned out great! I was really impressed how great of a job they did!

I had a bad experience here. I brought in my two boys and two ladies completely messed up their hair. They had patches and it was cut unevenly. I will never step foot into this great clips again.

I’ve been going to GC for 3 years at 2 locations in following one particular stylist by the name of Mary. The salons are always neat, clean, and the staff friendly — esp. Mary. She’s excellent in every way and always taking great care in the quality of her work. She could work in salon charging 3 X as much — and getting it/​and I’d pay it! Danny

I’ve bewn a regular customer at this location for about 3 years. I get my haircuts from various staff members and they are always professional, friendly and always work qui kly so I can continue on with my day. I will continue to bring my business to this Great Clips location. My one piece of advice is the coupon mailers have decreased over the past year, it would be nice to receive these more frequently, but I will continue going here regardless.

I would say, my first experience here was pretty good. Only downside, was the wait time. It was busy as hell! But I won’t hold them accountable for that considering its Friday and a chance that its alot of people’s payday. The person who cut my here is Shawn or Shaun. Don’t really know how he spell his name. But he did a good job.
Now, on to the review on my barber and haircut. I know is my hair is fairly easy to cut cause its short. I usually get 2 on top and 1 on the side with a fade and clean it up with everything else. But I changed my mind and got a 2 ½ on top and 0 on the side faded and cleaned up. All I know is he did a really good job. Took the time to cut my hair and made it look good. I mean especially for a 12 dollar haircut. And usually many barbers don’t pay attention to detail. Now, another thing is I usually tip barbers around 2 or 3 bucks when I get my hair cut. But since Shawn my barber cut my hair and took the time to make sure everything look good to do it, I ended up tipping him 5 bucks and rarely do that!!! Man, I know I’m a satisfied customer I am coming back.

Char is great! She is always professional and very patient. She also knows what she is doing. If you ask for her, you can’t go wrong

Keiko did a good job on my 3 yr old’s haircut. Price was very reasonable for a kids cut.
