and she is fabulous. She is very talented with
hair and an absolute pleasure to work with. Her prices
are reasonable. She has also done Brazilian Blow
Outs and Keratin smoothing treatments on me
and I have always been very happy afterwards.

Do not let a few bitter customers with problems with their Groupons steer you away. Melanie, owner AND operator, is such an amazing hair stylist! HOLY COW, she was extremely thorough with the consultation to ensure that she knew exactly what I wanted done to my hair, gave great reccomendations then got right to it! She was engaging and it didn’t feel like awkward small talk, which can happen pretty much every time you get your hair done. It felt like a great girlfriend of mine was doing my hair. Definitely let the time pass. She told me straight forward what we’d be able to do in the amount of time we had which is great for me no false hope. My hair turned out great! I wanted to add more highlights and a subtle ombré to the top half of my hair. bottom half is still a dark brown with no highlights. I love the way it turned out, she did everything in the perfect amount of time. I already scheduled my appointment for a blowout. I’ll probably go back to add more highlights to the bottom half of my hair. Thanks MEL!!!

Just had Melanie do extensions, color and keretin yesterday and all i can say is WOW!! GREAT JOB! Tons of compliments at work from colleagues and had an unusual number of patrons complimented me. My hair has not only made me feel great about how i look but also increased my earnings as a tip earning individual because i felt so good! Melanie was on time, made me laugh, and had me finished before our deadline to get me to work on time even after adding services not originally scheduled. And as a bonus her prices beat everyone elses and that to me is a bonus to her great work. Thanks girl u have my business for life!

I am writing this review because I have seen some bad reviews on Melanie and peopleya gotta b kidding me cause she has done the best Brazilian blowout on my hair I have ever had and I have had it for 3 Times and my daughter just had one and loves hers also so all these haters r a joke she is very professional and down to earth my car broke down once and she rescheduled with me she has always been on time for my appointments I will always go back to her she is the only one I trust now for my Brazilian blowouts try her for urself u won’t b disappointed cause these reviews r completely wrong

I received an amazing haircut and ombré color!!! I would definitely recommend !!! And Melanie was upbeat and professional!!!

I made an account just so I can put a review up for Mel. She is absolutely outstanding! So sweet and generous. My first experience with her was with a groupon I had purchased for a Keratin treatment. I called the number on the groupon and was directed to the website to schedule an appointment. Scheduled with ease, had no trouble finding the salon, and was greeted with her friendly and cheerful smile as she prepped for my arrival. My hair turned out AMAZING. It also lasted well over a year (which I was not expecting.)
I then have had several more appointments with her. Ranging from a basic haircut (cut off over a foot!) to color and even specialty things like tinsel. Ever time I have been in has been a great experience. When I cut off almost all of my hair, she did an OUTSTANDING job! When getting the tinsel put in, she explained how she was doing it, how long I could expect it to last, and how I could take care of it. It looked phenomenal. When I colored my hair she spent almost an hour with me just strand testing so we could get the PERFECT red color that I was desiring. I have always been treated with respect and like a friend. I even got a Christmas gift from her when I went in around the holidays! She is the only person I trust with my hair now!
Just booked another appointment for this week as a birthday present to myself! I cannot even express how excited I am to go in. I know I will have a great time and I will come out looking fantastic. I cannot recommend Mel enough!

I definitely agree with the previous Unilocaler, this place does have irresponsible customer service. I bought 2 Groupons a while back for the keratin treatment and used one in November (pretty good results with the treatment, although the service provider was late for my appointment). I had an additional Groupon that had expired in May and was told on the phone that I could use the value ($ 89) towards any good or service in the store. So, I scheduled a double process color for this morning (value– $ 80). When I arrived, I was told that I could not use the voucher for anything other than the keratin treatment and that if I chose to have another treatment, I would have to pay an additional $ 45. Such BS!
Upon reading the ‘fine print’ on the Groupon, I pointed out that it clearly states that you can use the amount of the voucher for any good or service, I was pretty much told TFB. The owner/​service provider didn’t offer to do anything else for me, just opened the door and sent me on my way.
I have since sent her a copy of my voucher with the fine print highlighted. I have called Groupon and they are going to give me my money back, since the owner also refused to give it back to me on her end.
A word of caution… if you still choose to go to this salon, don’t buy or try to use a Groupon or Living Social deal and don’t expect good customer service.

Very irresponsible customer service!
I bought a Groupon for a keratin straightening treatment here. I went online to schedule an appointment and the latest appointment time listed was 2pm during the week. No weekends. I have a job with typical hours, and a 2pm weekday would never work.
I called and explained. The woman said she would call back when she is able to stay late. She called the next day to schedule for the day after. I arranged my plans to be able to make it. Right before the appointment, she called to say that she ran late on a previous client and needs to cancel.
In my experience, when a service provider runs late, out of courtesy they let me choose to either come later or to reschedule. This woman just told me that she had to outright cancel and would call when she could schedule me.
I waited for a call and never heard back. After a couple weeks, I started calling to try to schedule an appointment. I left messages, never heard anything.
Finally I gave up and asked Groupon for my money back — which they quickly provided given the situation.
What an irresponsible way to run a business.

I had my 2^nd tightening and I am very hair with the results.

Melanie has great prices and really cares about the outcome of your hair, if you are not satisfied she will make sure she gets it how you like. I will definitly be a loyal customer of Melanie’s

I finally got the Keratin treatment. I have been wanting to do this for at least a year. EVERYONE GIRL NEEDS TO GET ONE! My hair is bleached and very frizzy, thick and after the treatment it is silky and shiny. You have to check out the before an after photos on mel’s fb page. I got this done about 6 weeks ago and it is still soft and shiny and not frizzy at all! So ladies, I would put this on top of your list to do because it makes such a difference in your hair!

I recently got my hair highlighted and cut at Hair Addiction. I am very pleased with my recent visit and will continue to be a loyal customer. Mel did a great job and is very reasonable with her prices. In fact I have a hair appointment with her for my wedding day. I definitely recommend Hair Addiction.

Seen the add on CL & was very hesitant, but because it was close to my house I figure call an make an appointment! I LOVE IT! Mel was very Nice & professional & made sure I could get in on the time & day I needed! THanks Hair Addiction, I’ll will surely be back!
