I did a full highlight with Katie and she did a great job. The color turned out to be exactly what I wanted! will definitely go back to her if I want to do highlights again.

Katie was super sweet, courteous and did a nice job with my hair. I would go to her again and recommend her. She gets the job done and if you’re not looking for over the top salon with fancy wall décor and furniture and seeing 3 people before you meet the hairstylist, this works just fine. It’s efficient, she did not rush and she was not slow, her timing was perfect. It’s a fair price for a professional haircut, color and style, without all the fluff, but still a clean and professional environment. I’ve done all the over-the-top salons in Boston and New York where haircuts can cost $ 150 – 250, then you have to tip 3 other people before the stylist and by time you leave, you’ve spent over $ 300. Been there, done it, over it, this is just fine and I won’t do the super cheap chain hair-salons either. This is a great middle ground for a normal haircut that you can trust will look great and the service is just fine.

Just finished getting my hair done by katie! I loved it! She’s awesome and super easy to talk to; she’s a fast worker and good at what she does. I’d totally recommend her. Totally gonna make this my place to go from now on.

I went to Katie to get my hair cut for a donation. This was the first thing I told her when I walked into her suite. I emphasized that several times during my visit, but I feel like she really disregarded everything that I said. Before anything, I asked Katie to tie up my hair and cut ten inches off to be donated. Instead, she suggested that I wash all of my hair because it would dry, so I went along with that. She began to cut my hair before it was tied, so I asked her to tie it. She said she would tie it up later. Uhhhh… okay. I don’t know why I assumed that she would neatly bundle it together later on. Anyways, she cuts my hair, but she doesn’t cut off ten inch pieces, like I asked. She then picks up strands of hair OFFOFTHEGROUND and leaves it on the counter. At the end of my visit, she sloppily wraps a rubber band around the loose strands from the counter and essentially hands me a wet ball of hair. Hair donations need to be sent in dry and tied in a ponytail. As a hair stylist, I thought she would’ve known that, or maybe she did but she just didn’t care. I can’t forgive the fact that I spent 18 months taking care of my hair just so I could toss it out.
