Hair Color Xperts

I am very picky when it comes to my hair, so I tried to do a lot of research on reviews etc. before getting my hair done. I came across this place that had tons of positive reviews and loved the video about talking about their color expertise.
Salon was beautiful, so nice, they scheduled me right in same day.
Met with the stylist and showed her exactly what I wanted… A blonde with red ombré. During the 5 hour process, she did mention that I had a few options, either blew him or just heavy heavy highlights for the top. I chose this process as it looked most like the picture. It was very warm in the salon and myself and the girl next to me were sweating, she asked if they could cool it down so the air was turned down. My hair was done but stylist noticed she he missed a spot on the top, so she said since I was in a hurry we could reschedule. My hair looked pretty good. I was happy with the results. The next morning the hair had already started to fade… It was awful, I called the salon and spoke to Maria right away, I told her I would like for her to look at my hair as well when I come in on that Thursday to have the stylist fix my hair. I didn’t wash my hair for 4 days… On the 5^th day there was hardly any color effect in my hair. (See images) I went back on Thursday and the stylist couldn’t believe it. I told her I really liked the color before I just want it to stay. She got a color pallet and showed me some colors, last time I had asked for the red red and she advised me against it. This time I told her I wanted the same color but if it faded o didn’t want it to look orange… She gave me 2 color cards, one had violet and the others looked darker… I picked that number thinking she knew what color I wanted and maybe that color on top of the faded red I had would give me the red/​burgundy I was looking for… The first spot she also showed me a picture of a girl whose color us a few highlighted strands go to the top, I advised her I didn’t like this. This second time around … She did it anyways. Almost all of my hair is purple! There’s barely any blonde, in the sun it looks pinkish and faded still. She destroyed my shirt with the violet dye. She said its cause I leaned forward or something … «I didn’t even know I wasn’t covered while sitting in their chair 30 minutes waiting for color to process» this time it took another 5 hours. I immediately posted a review and the owner Maria approached me. Said she understands I’m unhappy and said she would purchase a new sweater for me cuz the dye didn’t come out. She said to sleep on it and see if I still don’t like my hair tomorrow. Said she would fix it herself of I still didn’t like it. I STILL hate it. Ask urself, if a salon messed up ur hair once would u want ur money back? And then if they messed it up twice what would u do then. I demanded my money back because it’s going to cost a lot to fix my hair. I gave this salon 2 chances to fix my hair and it’s still not the way I want it and Maria refuses to give me my $ 250 back for this hair. She said they used time and products on my hair and that she was willing to work with me. I am now started court proceedings to get my money back. Please see all pictures
So after the Unilocal review and Better Business Bureau complaint I placed the real owner Andy, said to please give them a chance to fix my hair, after I finally agreed they wanted me to sign a contract saying I would remove all my reviews etc. had they fixed my hair I would have modified my reviews and said how the business fixed my problem. Can’t believe this place. See contract in photos. Guess this place doesn’t want to fix my hair just because it’s the right thing to do. And won’t fix it unless I sign their contract!

I sadly let my husband bleach my hair so it was completely uneven and a mess. My stylist was amazing and took me to almost white (my end goal) without damage thanks to olaplex I’m so happy with my service and it’s a lovely shop.

I wanted to get my hair colored so I found this place through Unilocal.Thanks all the Unilocalers for leaving such useful reviews! I had a fantastic experience and hair color :-)
The stylist lady that did my hair (sorry… forgot to get her name) did miracle on my hair. I have very coarse, thick, strong hair so it’s very hard for the color to get in my hair. Every hair colorist I’ve had in the past had very hard time dying my hair. She made sure I was satisfied and worked on my hair very carefully every step.
The owner, Maria is super sweet and kind :-) She was making sure everyone in the salon was happy and giving the other stylists advice. I saw her cutting two ladies hair and they both came out drop dead gorgeous. She is a platform hair stylist! If I’d want a hair cut, I would definitely go with Maria! Oh, also ella habla español so that’s a plus.
Also, they have Kerastase fusio dose. Not many salons have fusio dose (in Vegas). So if your hair is really weak and damaged, it’s worth coming here just to get fusio dose done here. I think it’s the best thing you can do for your hair.
The price was very reasonable for what I got done today! I’m a happy camper ;-) Thank you!

I just got my hair done by Melanie and although I usually don’t leave reviews I have to say how amazing she is! I’ve had a hard time finding a good hairstylist and to find someone who is so amazing with cut and color I’m ecstatic!

Let me just say I’ve been waiting to go gray for at least two years but couldn’t find the right stylist that I felt I could trust. Finally after reading all the reviews I decided to take a chance. I made the appointment and met with Melanie … Let me just say she did such an AMAZING job!!! she was so nice and so experienced and so great with communicating what we needed to do to make going gray happen! I won’t lie it was a 6 hour process but soooo worth every minute! The staff was great and the whole experience just proved to me that above and beyond customer service still exists. I would recommend them to everyone I know. Thank u Melanie Banfield !!!

After having a disastrous experience with my normal hair dresser where I ended up with a mix of cookie monster BLUE and chlorine GREEN hair. I was left feeling hopeless and frustrated until I contacted Maria who assured me everything would be okay and set me up with her first available appointment with the lovely Melanie. Melanie was personable and kind and most importantly she FIXED my hair! All I had wanted were some steel gray/​silver peek a boos and when I left today thats what I had. She was honest with me and walked me through the whole process as we went along. Hair color xperts definitely has a new client for life. THANK YOU!

So after writing my first review the owner repeatedly reached out to me. Which was very nice and showed that she cares about her customers. She reached out to me three times proposing discounts on services offered at the salon and a $ 25 gift card. At first I thought it was very nice and good customer service. However, with each proposal I was asked to take down my review of my experience in return. After declining discounts she even offered to give me a $ 25 gift card to remove my review. How can I be a true « Unilocaler» if I accepted her proposals? I like to be honest and Unilocal about my experience to help others decide when looking for service as I do.
I went to this salon because how well rated it is on Unilocal.All recent ones were 4 stars and above. I can see why. Bad reviews are bribed with discounts. This is not cool!

Maria, you keep saying I asked for an additional 25% off when I clearly didn’t. I believe you’re saying this because you got caught and want to keep your name clean. You weren’t there when I spoke to Tiffany. She gave me a total then I reminded her about the 25% discount. If she did add the 25% without me asking, isn’t it common sense to let the customer know? But how could she tell me that when she didn’t know? She did not proceed to do my hair. When I reminded her about the discount she had no clue about it. So therefore there is no way she gave me a total with the discount included. I don’t split atom for a living but I was able to tell that she did not include the discount because again she had NO clue.
After reading your reviews looks like I am not the first person to complain about your false advertisement. You have also denied another customer your false advertisement of 25% off to get them in the door.
If I am kindly questioning your employee with something different from what was promised, it is not confrontation; I believe it’s being an informed customer.
I was not being dramatic or rude. I realized that your business gave a false promise which obviously wasn’t going to be delivered so I clearly thanked Tiffany and left.
My budget shouldn’t be your concern because a girl will pay decent amount for her hair if she has to. If you were honest and gave me a total without your false advertisement, I would have paid that amount to have my hair done. But if you have a special going obviously I will address it. The point here, Maria, is it’s about PRINCIPLE and INTEGRITY!!!
From the looks of it your comment is quite dramatic. Just take the false advertisement off to get people in the door. You claim you are one of the best then let your work speak for itself rather than give false promises. I am not a business owner but I believe honesty works! Good luck

I LOVE my highlights and cut! I highly recommend Dianne Austin. Dianne listens and communicates well. She also offers suggestions for styling. I also like that she is funny and a dog lover. I’m happy that I finally found a stylist!

I will never go to a different salon to get my hair colored again after my experience with Hair Color Xperts. For the longest time I wanted to change my hair color to a lighter color but held off mostly because the last time I went to a salon and got my hair professionally dyed to a lighter color it came out horrible and ruined my hair. I decided to take the plunge again to a lighter look so I called Hair Color Xperts at 9 am and they were able to fit me in the same day with an ombré specialist 2 hours later at 11 am! Fabulous! Upon arrival I was set up to be with Tiffany and I told her I wanted an ombré and cut and showed her a few pictures of what I had in mind. She said the hair color I wanted was more of a balayage ombré and explained to me the difference. She also really listened to my concerns about not wanting to damage my hair going from my natural dark hair to a lighter blonde. After about 5 hours in the salon (I know a really long time but TOTALLY worth it) I walked out with an amazing new look that I absolutely LOVE! Tiffany did such a great job on the balayage ombré! And my cut is perfect; exactly what I wanted! I’ve gotten so many compliments on my new blonde look about how the color is so pretty and matches with my skin color perfectly. Thank you Tiffany and Hair Color Xperts. You just gained a regular customer!

I just got my hair done by Dianne. I got partial highlights done and I love it! Dianne is very knowledgeable and friendly. I will be back to get a haircut. I’m so happy I came across Hair Color Xperts, thanks to Unilocal

I Remeber that I wanted to dye my black hair to red so badly but I was nervous and scared because it was my first time to get my hair color. So I did my research and found Hair Color Xperts on Unilocal.I read through all there reviews and found many people who were really happy with there hair ! So I made an appointment with Maria, I told her what I wanted to do with my hair and she explained to me how the process will go. I can honestly say that i made the best decision ever! I was so happy with results and had awesome complement about my hair. People were constantly asking where I got my hair done.
Maria and her staff are very friendly, Maria always achieve the look I wanted and fits my schedule.
Im so happy that I found this salon and Im looking forward for the next appointment!

Just got done with another appointment with Maria. She recently became my new hair gal at Hair Color Xpers and I absolutely LOVE her! I went in for a touch up on my highlights, it was fast, quick, to the point and out the door in a jiffy! During the session, Maria was very friendly, courteous and always made sure I was comfortable. I love coming to Hair Color Xperts, and like I said in a previous post, I am so glad I found this hair salon! After going to a Paul Mitchell salon in Vegas and getting my hair ruined, I was almost in tears. I found this salon on Unilocal and based on the great reviews I knew they would be able to correct my hair. Tiffany was a wonderful stylist and really knew what she was doing. I put my faith and trust in her hands and she did not disappoint. As I sat there, I noticed how personable the other stylists were and they had alot of repeat customers. That really says alot for the stylists work. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a great color or cut and especially if you need a color correction.

By far one of the greatest salon experiences I’ve ever had. Went in for a color correction consolation after a horrific hair coloring experience and having one other person trying to fix the damage that was done. I felt like my only option at this point was color correction or just cutting it off.
I met with Maria and who was so helpful and went over what I was trying to achieve. Once we came up with the perfect and most realistic outcome and she got started. The all day process flew by because the environment was so easy going and the staff was incredible.
I knew my hair was going to look better than it was (because it really couldn’t have gotten worse) but the outcome left me speechless. Maria was able to achieve the look I wanted along with completely repairing the damage that was done.

I called right after opening this morning, to make an appointment for a color correction consultation. I was in an hour after, and Melanie discussed my hair and what I wanted done, and set me up for an hour later with Tiffany.
For about five months now, I’ve had several hair appointments, with two other people, trying to get an ash toned, balayage style ombré. With each coloring, I was just getting farther from what I wanted, and would cry looking in the mirror, because my hair ended up a patchy, copper toned. I dont even know.
But Tiffany literally worked magic on my hair! I was seriously beginning to question if my hair just wouldn’t color the way I wanted it, but SHE DID IT. My hair has never been this pretty, and I could tell during the appointment, that this time would be different, because of the amount of detail and time she was putting in to the color. I think I’ve finally found my go to person! I honestly can’t put into words how happy I am!
The staff are all friendly, and I would recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a great hair stylist. The salon is also very nicely decorated. It felt more upscale, than anywhere else I’ve ever been. I am also obsessed with the glitter walls!

By far one of the best salon experiences I’ve ever had! Melanie greeted me warmly and once she got to work she didn’t stop! My hair was a weird mix between light brown and auburn ish with horrible roots; I told her to make my hair one shade above black. The darkest brown she could. And she delivered! She added a touch of black to the color to give me the darkness I wanted and to extend my color longer since color seems to strip from my hair extremely easy.
The salon is very clean, bright, and the staff is wonderful. I can’t brag about this place enough!
Melanie made sure she understood what I wanted and did an exceptional job. This is my new spot!

I called several salons after doing a Unilocal search. Of the 4 that I called, this was the only salon that actually picked up their phone. Maria answered and I booked my appointment for the very next day.
Tiffany was my hairstylist. She was very friendly and very thorough. She asked me questions about my hair and what I wanted. It had been a year since I did anything with my hair. The length was long– to my mid-​back. It was also virgin– no dye whatsoever.
I told her I wanted something completely different. She wonderfully delivered! Additionally, every step of the way she made sure that I was okay with every decision. From the colors to the length of the cut. Suffice it to say, I was very pleased with the service I received. I will be coming back to the salon in the future.

I went in for a color correction as I went to a different salon yesterday where the woman absolutely ruined my hair. I was in tears and have already contacted the manager, etc… she ruined me!
BUT Cesar and Noël absolutely SAVED me tonight! First off, the greeting and level of customer service was above and beyond. These two guys are very friendly and know what they are doing. They fixed the chop job that I received AND the color. I couldn’t be happier. The shop was also very clean. I have found my new hair care place.
