It is a park. It closes at 6 p.m.

It is a public park and it «closes» at a time — when in the summer (and that is a lot of the calendar in Vegas) — it is still light out? What is this? Let me explain …
Only in Las Vegas, a city which makes no qualms, excuses, or concessions that there are far-​fringe elements at war with the indigent (homeless) would this happen. They limit the hours at this public park because they cannot stand the established caselaw that permits any and every one access to the public facilities. If freedom is what makes the United States of America exceptional, then we in Las Vegas have a long way to go.

How many times will the despicable goons in City Hall — Goodman, Ross, Tarkanian, Weekly, Brown, Reese, Selby, Wolfson; and, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Deputy City Marshals and Department of Leisure Services lose in the courts? How many of our limited tax dollars are they going to unnecessarily and unjustifiably expend on this bullshit? Do they even possess consciences? That might be my overarching concern.
Usually, these same idiots implore for one to «think of the children» on all other nongermane issues (See Reno v. A.C.L.U.); but, when it comes to maintaining a park with playground open for kids, well …
Fuck ‘em is what they silently say as they vote to close a public park at 6:00 p.m. every day. Fuck ‘em is what they silently say as they erect the new sign that displays the absurdly abridged hours of operation. Fuck ‘em is what they loudly say as they deny services — taxpayer-​funded services — to all constituents just to wage their continued war against the indigent, a people they seek to unconstitutionally and insidiously criminalise via status offences.
Fuck you City Hall. Fuck you City Council. And fuck you average LVMPD Gillespie Gestapo goon for wasting our limited policing resources* when you certainly have not run out of real crime**.
*I mean: Fly another rock star around the valley on our dime. Waste another 1,500 $ to wash away «water-​soluble chalk» from a sidewalk. Acquire more drones, and pay more «disability» to murderous thugs who claim to suffer from PTSD as a direct consequence of their actions of slaughtering unarmed citizens.
**Crime is up in Las Vegas; go figure.
Two stars, and they both go to Gail Sacco, patron saint of the Las Vegas downtrodden. She deserves so much more, but the jackboot thugs will do anything to keep us from being free. Therefore, I’ve experienced (much) better than Huntridge Circle Park.

The park itself is small and has a playground thats relatively new.
You have to walk through the sleeping quarters of ten or twenty homeless to get to the playground.
An ok place for kids to play if youre in this part of town.
