I ordered a cake for my daughter’s baby shower. Her shower was on a Saturday, and I reached out to this business on a Wednesday via Facebook. I had sent a message on FB, and Kim answered almost immediately. Something I love about a business! She stated that they cut their orders off for the week on Wednesday, so I needed to let he know if I wanted to order. I sent a photo, we discussed flavors, and she gave a price. We had it ordered all in about 20 minutes. The price was over $ 100 less than another place quoted too. What?! The only complaint that I have is that I set a time to pick up the cake at 10am. I got to the shop about 10:15, as my navigator took me the wrong way. When I got there, I was told my cake wasn’t ready. There was a bow that needed to be put on the cake still. Unfortunately I was in a hurry, so this kind of put a rush on everything else in my day leading up to the shower. The cake itself, including the bow, turned out great! It was adorable, exactly what we wanted. My daughter LOVED it. We chose chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling, and coconut cake with strawberry filling. SO good! Our guests loved it too. I will try to upload a photo if I can. I recommend this place for cakes. I will probably use them in the future as well!

This is a FANTASTIC bakery. I got my wedding cake, cake pops, macaroons, and cannoli’s! The overall experience was fantastic. From the private tasting, to the design of the cake. Everything was so easy and in the end we got exactly what we wanted. Their cake is AMAZING. Strawberry champagne cake will change your life. In addition to great cake, all their pastries are great too! Overall the guests raved over how beautiful/delicious our cake was. Very reasonably priced compared to a lot of other bakeries in town! So, so happy with everything!

My boyfriend wanted to spend his birthday weekend in Las Vegas, so I wanted to surprise him with a birthday cake. I began doing my research and came across this. We live in Los Angeles, so it was really hard picking a bakery from another state without tasting anything, but I gave it a shot. I worked with them through email and they were so helpful. I told them my idea and they came through with a wonderful cake. My boyfriend is a huge baseball fanatic so I wanted a baseball field. We stayed at the Rio and they were able to deliver it to us at the hotel for a small extra charge. When it arrived and I saw the final product, I was amazed. He absolutely loved! Not only did it look amazing but it tasted great. If I ever have something else to plan in Las Vegas I will definitely order a cake from here… Thank you so much for such an amazing cake!

SWEET. BABY. JESUS. That cake was GOOD. All I really wanted for my wedding was my new husband and a yummy cake. Everything else was just what I needed to do for the guests. They were SO easy to work with. I live in Indianapolis, and my husband goes to Vegas a lot for work, so he was able to do the tasting while I, unfortunately, could not go. They sent cake home with him just for me!!! How awesome is that!!! Furthermore, they even included a small cake just for the two of us for after the wedding! Their strawberry champagne cake is legendary in our house now. I am counting down the days until our first anniversary just so I can dig that cake out of our freezer and eat it. It was so good that we ate half as soon as we got back instead of saving it all for next year! I want to go to Vegas again just to try more cake!

Simply amazing. Our venue had them in our package so we did not expect much. It was so delicious that I asked them to make a grooms cake for our rehearsal dinner. The wedding cake was a chocolate vanilla swirl with raspberry filling. I decided not to freeze our cake, order a new one at our anniversary. Now 5 weeks past our wedding the cake is still in our fridge and as delicious as the wedding day. The grooms cake was mint chip. Gorgeous and delicious. Wish I saved a piece of that too!

I had a great experience using LVCC for my wedding cake. I was planning our wedding long distance and was able to send them a picture of a cake I liked on pinterest, and they were able to replicate it exactly. They were quick to respond to their emails to ensure we were both on the same page with what I wanted and what they were able to provide. We ended up having a three tiered, double layered, gold cake and guests were talking about how beautiful it was– very unique and classy! They were easy to work with and we had fun doing a cake tasting at their location. We went with the strawberry cake with strawberry/champagne filling and it was delicious! Highly recommended!

The best in Vegas without breaking the bank. We narrowed it down to Las Vegas Custom and Freeds. They made created photo of exactly what our cake would look like. The final product was soo way beyond what we could have hoped for. The strawberry-champagne did it for us. The absolute best cake I have ever tasted!

I lovvvve Las Vegas Custom Cakes. My husband and I were originally referred here for our wedding cake that was included with a package at sienna country club. It was everything we asked for and more. I absolutely fell in love with them when i needed a cake for my husbands surprise 30th birthday. I originally wanted to try Gimme some sugar, but after I got the run around for over a week about what days a designer would even be able to talk to me I popped in to LVCC with only a week to go to make a 3 tier custom cake. No problem what so ever. Their work is great, the cake actually tastes amazing and the staff are so nice, accommodating and happy to have you as a customer.

The absolute best! Wow, honestly, the best experience I had in planning my wedding. My wedding was originally a very small affair with me, my fiancé and 4 of our friends. It quickly grew to well over 40 people and everything had to change. I was pulling my hair out researching wedding cake vendors and I was beside myself trying to figure out how to do what we needed to do. Then, I found Las Vegas Custom Cakes. I emailed Joe and explained what I wanted to do and asked him to suggest a solution. He did. It was so easy. We exchanged a few emails and it was all settled. I loved that Joe understood what I wanted to achieve and came up with plan that not only delivered the end result but within my budget. The day before my wedding I went to pick up my order. I had had the absolute worst couple of weeks ever and was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, I was moving, my wedding dresses had been lost, my reception venue was backing out, the flower order never got placed and I was 29 hours late leaving Los Angeles for Vegas on top of it all. When I walked in the woman at the counter presented me with my order and I literally started crying. Joe came over and asked what was wrong. I told him nothing was wrong, I was crying because the cake, the cupcakes and the cake pops were perfect; beautiful and perfect. I was crying because it was the first thing that had gone right in weeks. I was so happy. My order: 12 Sheet Pops — $ 120(chocolate cake) 6″ Cake — 9 servings — $ 115(red velvet cake) 6 Nicely decorated Jumbo cupcakes — $ 45 with 3 ivory iced and 3 pink iced & nicely decorated(vanilla cake, chocolate filling) 12 Standard Jumbo cupcakes — $ 42 with buttercream rosette swirl(6 pink, 6 ivory)(vanilla cake, cookies & cream filling) 24 Mini’s — $ 48 with all Ivory Icing and matching shade Pink Glitter(chocolate cake) The Red Velvet was my favorite out of all the items I ordered. OMG was it tasty. Everything was fresh and delicious and my guests loved the cupcakes. We had a lot of health nuts who went bonkers about the mini cupcakes, and some sweet tooths like me, who devoured the jumbo cupcakes and red velvet cake. The sheep pops were a big hit, too. My husband finds sheep funny, anything to do with sheep, so I thought for the groom’s cake, to do sheep pops. He horded them and ate them one by one over our honeymoon. I managed to eat one, and it was delicious. You can’t go wrong with Joe and his team.

I bought my daughters sweet 16 birthday cake here. The party theme was«Gore /Slasher» filled with blood guts and each kid received an invitation with a bottle of blood to wear to the party. I described the cake I wanted which was a headless torso(my daughter) brown skin tone, sweet 16 sash, her name tattooed on her chest, and missing limbs. Holy Moly they delivered one of the most memorable cakes we have ever seen. Highly recommend this bakery. Cake was delicious butter cake with salted caramel filling. Yummy

If you are looking for a truly talented bakery team that can work with you to create YOURDREAMCAKE — backed by experience, quality ingredients, and incredible customer service, look no further! It’s been almost a week since my wedding — but every single day since I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the incredible wedding cake that Las Vegas Custom Cakes provided for me. I was floored by how beautiful my wedding cake turned out to be, along with how absolutely delicious it was. The cake exceeded any expectation I had, and I really didn’t think such a cake would look(and TASTE) like it did — perfect. Thank you again for the cake — we will never forget it.

Adorable affordable custom cake with great flavors! My friends and I designed a Chinese New Year themed cake. We chose the white cake with two different fillings. 1. Bavarian Strawberry cream filling 2. Piña Colada mousse! So happy how the cake turned out and how it tasted! Denise and her team are great artists! The only thing I would ask in the future is for more fresh strawberries

Where to start??? Well first off we have gotten two cakes from there, and I know it is our own fault for going back… Should have known better! Lets start with the first cake. The first cake was for a birthday, we had designed it to look like a pill bottle from Walgreens and had lots of details included on it. The details included lots of small little pills all over the bottom hanging out, the cake it self looked like the actual bottle, all the colorings of the real bottle, everything… They quoted us $ 175 which was totally reasonable for the amount of detail that was included. When it came to picking it up it was nothing but a total disappointment !! They misspelled lots of things on it, and we even sent them a print out with everything spelled out to the way we want it. They even misspelled«BIRTHDAY» how can you misspell that word when you do so many cakes??? How? Anyways it had so many mistakes we refused to pick it up so they offered to fix it and offer us a discount for a future order. Now on to the second cake, which is what makes me so angry! This cake was an engagement cake. For starters this cake involved was less of details on it and we were quoted $ 375 which got me to think they have no real basis for coming out with prices for the cake, it was also a much smaller cake incase you were wondering. When we questioned why we were told that the flowers we asked to add on the cake would cost us $ 50 for each bouquet and I asked for two of them. Still doesn’t justify why its $ 275 for a plain cake??? With no details other than a heart, which we will get into later… When we refused to pay the $ 375 and mentioned the first cake with all the mistakes they dropped the price a $ 100 which only proves they way over quoted us for starters! Starting with the flower bouquets, I sent them a picture of large flowers, small flowers, vines, and leaves on them. What I got was two bouquets of flowers that had on the first bouquet two normal size flowers and two small, the second bouquet had only 2 small flowers. No vines, no leaves, no nothing… and for $ 50 each??? So I paid $ 100 for 6 fondant flowers 4 of which were tiny. And the heart we asked for was not even edible It was hard as a rock, and placed on the cake with a STICK!!! Really? Oh and for the cake we even paid an additional cost to have the fondant on the cake with marzipan rather than butter cream and when we cut the cake there was only butter cream… nice! And We even paid extra for the change! I just don’t understand the prices they assign the cakes, the fact they cant spell simple words, or the fact that they charge for things an extra cost and do not add it! This place is a total disappointment! BOTHTIMES! We get a lot of cakes within our group of friends for all types of occasions and I have never had an issue with a place like I did with this one! Save yourself the headache skip on this bakery!

I called the day before my mother’s birthday and ordered a custom cake. Joe was so helpful and patient. They made a beautiful and delicious cake in less than 24 hours, and it was delivered on time. I ordered a strawberry short cake. My mother said that it was very fresh and yummy. She was very happy and so am I. I would highly recommend Las Vegas Custom Cakes. Thank you Joe!

My work started a cake design contest and when it was my turn i started looking for a bakery. I’ve used a couple in Henderson before but wanted one near my work or house and glad I found this place because it’s topped all the others I’ve had done here. Found this one on Unilocal and went in for consultation. It was the first bakery I visited and planned to go to others, but Denise was great and got the feeling she cared and was into doing the cake so I went with her. The cake was done amazing and was able to stay within the company budget and it tasted really good. There’s been cakes in the contest that looked good, but didn’t taste as good. Everyone enjoyed the cake and loved the detail in the design. The cake was moist and had a good ratio/consistent layer of filling and buttercream under the fondant. For the cake flavors I asked them to give me their best. They recommended a chocolate cake which was perfect and I’m not much of a chocolate cake person, but would order this one any day. The other flavor was a white cake with a filling that had chocolate shavings in it. Again, it was amazing and I can’t decide which one was better. The third flavor was red velvet cup cakes and those flavors were on point and just as good as the others. If you need a cake that’s custom or not and want great taste then this is the place for you! It will be the go to place for me now when ever I need a cake for any event.

This cake was the biggest source of stress of my whole wedding. I had to contact three different bakeries before finally securing this ordering with Las Vegas Custom Cakes ONEWEEK before my wedding. I was so grateful that they were able to accept my order on such short notice due to the intricacy and time that was needed to complete something this detailed. I called and spoke to Cristina. Then I emailed her a photo of what I wanted, along with the specific modifications. This was to be a two-tiered peacock wedding cake. The tiers were not connected and instead of just one peacock, I needed two– one in white, the other in blue– to symbolize the female and male in a relationship. Each feather was to be individually rolled out, designed, painted and sprayed. It was a lot of work. I was expecting a gorgeous replica of a peacock cake that I found online but modified to my wedding theme. I was so nervous about whether or not LVCC could even do this cake because I had hit so many roadblocks and brick walls with this cake that I almost scrapped it altogether a week before my reception. The cake was nothing short of breath-taking. Everyone was amazed by it. They couldn’t believe how gorgeous it was. Our reception was held in a private room at Bouchon at The Venetian. I was told by the dining events manager that his baking team was so impressed by it that they were all taking photos of it as well. It was delivered and set up beautifully about an hour before the reception began. This was well worth the money. Believe me, it was a pretty large chunk of change but it was actually cheaper than if I went with a different bakery that gave me a larger quote for a less intricate version that included only one peacock. The top tier was a triple-layered white cake with thick Bavarian cream filling. I’m not a big Bavarian cream fan; my husband loves it. But guess what? Simply heaven. The cake tasted absolutely perfect. I ate about half that entire top tier myself. The bottom tier was a dark chocolate cake with a Bailey’s Irish cream drizzled chocolate mousse and a thin sliver of ganache. My chocolate-loving friends about died eating it. They loved it. Even one of my besties who doesn’t like cake thought it was delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was the fondant– never liked fondant, never will. Las Vegas Custom Cakes’ fondant tasted even stranger than any other I’ve had in the past, with a strange chemical aftertaste. Maybe it’s because I requested marshmallow fondant? I was told by a really good baker that marshmallow fondant actually tastes good and better than regular fondant. If that’s what it’s supposed to taste like, I think it’s actually worse. So after all this, why the four-stars and not five? Three reasons: 1). Both peacocks ended up white. Maybe they misread the email or misunderstood what I wanted. I’m copying and pasting exactly what I wrote in my email to them regarding the two birds, «…a pair of peacocks– a white female and a blue male… I would like the pair of white and blue peacocks on top of the cake with the female looking more plain and the male fancier(like real life peacocks).» The only thing they did was spray the upper portion of the male peacock’s feather with some blue. Otherwise, it was the same color as the female. 2). They left a giant piece of paper towel in the female peacock’s feather. I could tell that it was there to keep the feathers separated while they dried. I’m assuming that they removed all the other pieces of paper towel and just forgot that one because it sort of blended in with the feathers. 3). They used Q-Tips/cotton swabs in the cake. This one disgusted me out a little bit. They cut the cotton swabs in half and used them as little support beams to reinforce the feathers’ structure. It was from the top where the feathers began to about halfway down the feathers’ design. I’m not sure if this is common practice in the cake design world. I’m leaning on the side of «No.» The reason this was so gross was because I wouldn’t have noticed them except it looked like someone had left light colored hair or pieces of lint in my cake– that’s how I found them. I was giving a big slice of it to a friend who missed the reception. Right before I handed the plate over to her, I was casually looking the cake over to admire the work again and saw some hairlike pieces throughout the cake and started to panic. As I moved the feathers over to pull them out the bits of fiber, I started finding all the cotton swabs. If it weren’t for those three things, then I would give LVCC more than five stars if I could. I’ll upload a picture of the paper towel in the cake but I don’t have any of the cotton swabs. I paid $ 900 for this cake, on top of a $ 50 delivery fee; I really didn’t expect some of the strange things that I found in the cake. That still would have been mildly disturbing even if I didn’t spend that much money on it.
