Mad About Hair

Terrible stylist. Chopped off my 16 year olds hair, choppy and unever. Bleached her hair uneven and now refuses to redo her mess. I guess it’s a godsend she hasn’t responded she would probably make it worse if that’s even possible! :(

I love this salon! The ladies are nice and do an awesome job! The location and salon atmosphere is cozy and relaxed.

Everyone that works here is so nice. It’s obvious they care greatly about their customers. I love my hair every time I walk out in. Kathy is truly skilled and is just the best at making my hair beautiful. My previous stylist moved away and I was so worried it would be hard to find someone to match her talent, and I ended up with someone even better!

Anthony was an amazing hairdresser. Did an brilliant job on mine and wife’s hair. Definitely need to switch the music to Pandora. The diversity of the music is so off putting one second I’m head banging to Offspring, the next I’m trying to slow dance with the other customers waiting. Get an iPod, play Pandora and the consistency of the mood and style of music will calm the customers instead of giving them something to complain about.

This place is amazing. Quick clean. Anthony did a great job with my girls hair. Not crazy expensive. And an awesome owner. They said they may offer complimentary wine to the guests soon on top of their water and coffee. This could get dangerous lol. I might need a weekly cut. Oh and that other review on here seems fake. They don’t sell that stuff there. But maybe that lady should purchase some because her titties stink.

As a first time customer of Mad About Hair I had a great experience. I felt very welcome upon entering the establishment, nothing buts greetings and smiles. Much to my surprise as a walk in without an appointment I was able to be helped very shortly after arriving. Kathy rocked my haircut and I had an enjoyable time talking with her. I spoke with the new owner and he seemed very involved and excited about the business. Quality stylists and products. You won’t be disappointed.

I have been coming to this salon for a couple years. I have always had amazing service with my hairstylist Helen. Recently, the salon was sold to the same people that owns Jacksons Bar and Grill on Flamingo.
During my recent visit some questionable products were being sold that no longer make this place a family friendly hair salon. They began selling a product for breast hygiene. The location of this product was situation right at the entrance where customers pay, and as if that was not offensive enough, I was asked if I wanted to purchase this new «hygiene for breasts and other areas.» I asked this staff member if she thought maybe I smelled funny, and she nervously answered that she is required by the new owners to sell two a day to keep her job! I personally thought she was kidding, but she explained that she has been purchasing several a week and donated them just to maintain job security.
This is no way to run a business! I am so glad I didn’t have my son with me that day.
