Matt Cali Photography

I hired Matt as the photographer for my parents’ 50^th anniversary. After looking at his website, reading the reviews here on Unilocal and him answering all of our endless questions and requests, we knew he was the one. He was friendly and very professional right from the beginning, which was months before the party. He kept in contact during the months leading which made me feel at ease.
On the day of the event, he got right to work. He worked efficiently and captured many memorable moments we will treasure forever.
Look at his website, text him, call him, you will not regret hiring this man. Thank you Matt, I will keep you as our photographer!

We got married one month ago and Matt was our photographer. Matt is amazing! He was attentive and informative while we were deciding who to go with. Matt was spectacular to work with. He was charming, funny and really put everyone at ease. He has an incredible talent and we couldn’t be happier with our photos! Matt is by far the one of the best choices I made for my wedding and I would highly recommend him!

First, I found him randomly on Craigslist. His ad stood out because he was able to convey how much fun and passion he hopes to bring to his photo shoots.
And, «wow», did he deliver. He was quick to respond to my inquiry and continued to keep the lines of communication open, arrived early and had the email proofs ready the next day… what?
Matt has a quiet confidence that allows him to ask a ton of unassuming questions bringing him closer to understanding your goal as a client. It is clear that he loves what he is doing and cares about creating your vision. He is quick to smile, share and most importantly, make you comfortable, (a very important quality for a photographer for those of us who are camera shy!)
We were married in Vegas 1 year prior, had 2 photographers and were unable to capture a shot that we could proudly display in our living room. For our anniversary, we decided to put the «glad rags» back on (tux and veil et all.) and try again. Now, thanks to Matt, we are going to have trouble deciding how many we can put on the wall… and tastefully get away with!!!

my first Unilocal review… here goes… I was put in charge of finding the photographer for our «Forty Something» family reunion in Vegas this past Memorial Day weekend. I searched Google, Bing and yes, Craiglist. Interviewed three photographers. Met Matt on Craigslist and let me tell you, I and all of my family were totally happy and surprised. We just got our pics today and we cracked up! We got candids, portraits, and everything. He’s awesome, and we LOVE the photos. Matt rocks and he’s so got it. He will not be available to the general public for long. If you can book him, do it. His pricing was not the bottom, nor the top. Worth every penny! But Matt, where’s the butt?! You really do have talent… with all my thanks… Karen

Matt is A.MAZ.ING!
For our Feb 2012 wedding it was really important to us that we didn’t just get some «wedding photographer». We wanted an artist. Someone that was as excited as we were to be doing this project. After months of planning, I wanted the photos to show how much work we put into it, and did Matt pull through!
From our first meeting I knew he was our guy. He understood what we wanted and gave great suggestions. The days leading up to the wedding he would check in to make sure we were still on schedule and if there was anything he could do to help — wow.
The day of the wedding, has was only suppose to be our reception photographer but we had him show up to the chapel to get some exra pics as the chapel package came with a photographer. Thank goodness for Matt! He took better photos then the crappy photographer that came with the chapel package (*ahem* Viva Las Vegas Weddings).
At the reception, Matt was like a ninja! He did everything possible to get the right shot — from standing on chairs to get the whole group to jumping over couches to catch a cute moment with the kids. Everyone loved him! When we talk about the wedding, his name always comes up.
His prices are more than fair and the turnaround on the pictures was very quick! I couldn’t have been more pleased.
