Nutrition Rush

This was my first time in this store and I’m glad I took the time to stop. The prices here are about the same as
but of course no shipping charge and the advantage of being able to pick your products up immediately when you run out vs. waiting for a shipment. I will now be buying all of my supplements with them.
The service is also very friendly and helpful!

Was in the area and saw this location and thought I would pay it a visit. I rolled in and found it to be acceptable. The gentleman behind the counter seemed nice enough. I came looking for some pre-​workout. He was happy to give me a sample.
I would later return and ask a few more questions and left with a jar of pre-​workout & post-​work out.
The upper (pre) does what it is supposed to do. Maybe it’s the caffeine, I don’t know. It effects are very similar to other products on the market. The Super Pharm (SP) Ephedra Fuel (EF) can get clumpy if exposed to extreme temperature changes. That’s Vegas all the way. I was advised of the phenomenon but the clump factor after opening made me head right back inside to show the dude what he was talking about. He informed me this was natural and told me sometimes after mixing the EF, he would have to chew what was left at the bottom of the shaker.
The recovery (post) claims to have Brach Chain Amino Acid, muscle energy & recovery complex, and Anti Cramping Complex. I have used this after several long cards sessions and only once have I experienced leg cramps.
All in all, an A-​OK experience. I would expect that if you in the area of one of the more popular 24 hour Sports, you would be providing thing but the best to those members. That being said… the internet provides all the information one can digest… and the websites to fill whatever order you desire.
I am going to continue to consume my purchases from NR and will evaluate after.

Eric helped me pick out a natural protein tonight that I can use as a part of my supplement regimen when I’m in Las Vegas for work. They have a 7-​day cleanse that is really cost effective also. I tried the peanut butter and jelly protein shake, and it was SO GOOD! I like going here after I work out at Lifetime Fitness off Charleston, and it’s a perfect stop next door to Rachel’s Kitchen.

Update your hours of operation. Front door says mon-​thur open until 9, Google says open until 10(I showed up at 9:15), Unilocal says 8.

Small shop but friendly and good service. Not as huge a selection as some of the big chain stores but really… those stores have so many duplicates of the same kind of thing it doesn’t make any difference. Quest bars were a few dollars less than 2 other places I check but that depends on who is putting what on sale. They run out fast which is good and bad. Inventory is always fresher but once in a while they don’t have my favorite flavor. (Cookies and Cream!)

I go here for most of my supplement needs! They are super helpful and don’t try to push any particular brand on you but even better they listen to your experience with other brands! They obviously want to get to know the products they carry and their consumers. I’ve honestly never been disappointed with any of their suggestions regarding preworkouts, Aminos, and creatine.
They are a smaller store than most and I like that about them, unfortunately they are not open on Sundays.
On the plus side they started offering smoothies now and they are delicious!

Popped in here and had a few questions (having a few minutes to spare). Glad I did — apparently this is a family run business that started with two stores a couple years ago and now, has thirteen!
I looked for my Protein powder of choice. They had something similar, same company, but gladly offered to order the one I like. I then asked if they had something else close to my preferred shake maker. They did, and it’s cheaper. I would definitely give that a shot sometime. I looked at various health bars, too, and learned of a couple new to me. Bought one — I know, giant purchase, right? But I’m glad to have stumbled on this new chain that seems to have a lot of good things going for it. And that includes the helpful, non-​selly store clerk.

Thanks to another Unilocaler I tried this place as I frequent places next door. I usually go to a competitor but I decided to try. Quest bars are limited in quantity but they are the best price! They have all the products I need and they don’t push a generic store brand which is nice
Anthony is very helpful, looked up a product for me they don’t carry and found me the components of that product. He always gives a smile and is quite patient with questions. Very amicable and knowledgeable
Not saying I will totally abandon what I get at the other store but I will definitely frequent this one…

I’m still a big fan of this tiny but mighty shop in the Rachel’s Plaza. Dominic has moved to another location but the great news is Anthony is the new manager. What a fitness, nutrition and health enthusiast he is; and a wealth of knowledge on products and what their benefits are vs. goals. As a personal trainer and amateur bodybuilder lean bulking for his 2^nd comp in November, we were commiserating and yapping forever about the love/​hate fitness bug.
The shop carries Super Pharm for most of their supplements, whey, casein, BCAA’s, etc. They have a good variety of whey and casein flavors for all of us mugcake, protein pancake, slushie kitchen wizard creators. I’ve tried Vanilla, Cookies and Cream, Strawberry and am IN LOVE with the Banana (Anthony said it tastes like Laffy Taffy and it does :)) Thought my love affair with Lemon Ice BCAA would last forever until I tried the Orange yesterday: just like Tang!
They sell Quest Bars at $ 24/​case which is cost for them, and IMHO the only bars worth eating. Definitely worth a visit to Anthony, he does not even know what Unilocal is, but is super passionate about healthy living/​clean eating. He rattled off the past week’s sales down to the $ and knows ALL of his customers. Most of the trainers from 24 Hour Fitness shop here, too. So, if you want to avoid Big Box/​Bro shops and patronize a neighborhood joint run by a super guy, stop in.
