I come here almost once every two weeks, as I am an avid penpaller and buy my envelopes and stationery from here. It’s located in Town Square so I can get some other shopping and lunch in, too.
Amazing selection of envelopes, in any size and color you like. When picking it out, make sure you get a good batch of envelopes (sold in packs of 10), some may be dog eared or stained or folded. Along with envelopes, they have matching note cards, place cards, table cards and paper in the same color.
Great selection of fine art paper as well, and not too expensive. Sometimes they have paper sales. Look in the back of the store for the clearance section.
A decent selection of rubber stamps and too expensive in my opinion. But they have a good selection of embossing powders and inkpads. The best part of this store is the friendly staff is always happy to demonstrate anything to you. So if you see something and you’re not sure how it works, or how the embossing color will look like, they have a little table up at the front with all the tools ready to show you. If you have time to kill, ask them to show you something new and they will teach you all kinds of cool techniques. I once spent over 2 hours in the store just chatting with one of their salesgirls (I forgot her name, ugh!) and she helped me with a project I was working on and showed me all kinds of cool new products and rubber stamping techniques. I only mentioned I liked hand bordered cards and she demonstrated how I can do that effect using washi tape and an ink pad. Amazing how much these ladies know if you’ll ask them for help! Yes, they can be pretty overbearing as another reviewer said, but that never bothered me, they get the hint and leave me alone once they know I know what I’m doing.
They also have lots of schlocky gift stuff. Check their website for sales and coupons as well.
Their greeting cards are overpriced, for me. But you will find cool designs there that you won’t find in a Hallmark store.
A good place to find Kate Spade stationery, trendy calendars and things. I find that it’s easier for me to look for what I want on their website
, as the shop kind of hides most of the smaller stuff.

Overbearing. That’s how I could describe the staff during my last visit to Paper Source. I really love this store but my feelings on the service are torn. On one hand, I think the employees are helpful and friendly and, on the other, I think they are WAY too on top of me. This weekend one of the employees was on me like white on rice while I was browsing the gift wrap.
Employee: «Are you looking for something in particular?»
Me: «No, I’m just browsing, thanks.»
Employee: «OK.»
…a few minutes later:
Employee: «What are you planning to do with the wrapping paper?»
Me (giving off the impression that I’d rather be left alone): «I’m not sure, I’m really just looking at it.»
…a couple minutes later:
I reach for something to look at it.
Employee: «Can I help you with that?»
Me, in my head: «Holy hell, take a hint! Why can’t I browse in peace??»
Me, out loud: «No, I was just taking a look at it.»
Employee: «OK» Stands there kind of awkwardly looking at me.
I mean, at this point it should have been pretty clear that if I wanted help I’d ask for it.
But the merchandise here is just SO cute! So many unique and fun items. Lots of great gifts and beautiful stationery.
Prices for greeting cards are steep, but aren’t they always?
I love a friendly greeting and a helpful staff but I think some of the employees could tone it down a bit. I’m going to have to walk in with a resting bitch face next time to deliver the «lay off» message.

Recently, during a bid to gain a product photography contract with a local business, I visited Paper Source in search of fine, polished stationary that I could use as note-​worthy props. Candice patiently answered what seemed like an endless amount of questions on my part regarding possible stationary combinations. In the end, I confidentially walked out with a set that was exactly what I was looking for :)

Fun Store with great stuff you will not see other places!
Great place to go for cards and playful things.
Not sure why, but I find the staff at the Tivoli Sq. a bit friendlier.
Because of that the Tivoli location is my preference.
Although happy to shop in either.

Perfect shop for unique, witty, and humorous cards, gorgeous stationery, beautiful paper goods, and various novelties and gifts. I appreciate the staff are always helpful and courteous. Parking can be a pain, but once you score a spot, you will be delighted to explore all the goodies in the store.

This place is fabulous! I recently walked in and had a great time fulfilling all my paper needs! I decided to have a card making party with some of my friends and they even kept the place open after hours (pretty sure it was a special case). The people here are so friendly and wonderful. I will be back over and over.
