I love love love Thai food! Before I moved to the SW side of town I usually would go to the Pin Kaow 3 on Eastern so this location is closest. The staff is nice, someone is always at the door to greet you! The manager here is great, I came in for a pick up order for the pad thai, yellow curry + pot stickers & she made me feel very welcome. The atmosphere is very relaxing, calm & not noisy. The food is always great as usual!

Not! The best Thai Restaurant. The songs are very distressing and made my boyfriend and I feel sleepy eating. My boyfriend found a piece of hair in his food. The servers are slow and don’t pay much attention to the customers. The food wasn’t even good. I’ve been to different Thai restaurants and this is the worst. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this place.

The food here was pretty good, but the service was not the best. I ordered the Pad Thai lunch special, which came with a spring roll and soup. The amount of food was more than enough, and it was satisfying. I was very full when I finished eating. The bean sprouts that were served on the side with the pad thai were not too bad, surprisingly. It’s common to find repulsively horrid bean sprouts when they’re served that way. Also, the Pad Thai was good(along with the other dishes) because there was no excessive use of fish sauce, which has a strong, pungent taste and odour. The Tom Yum Soup was good, but was quite sour compared to others that I have had. The main thing that bothered me about the service was as follows. The restaurant first claimed to have this«spicy scale» system when ordering your food, from a scale of 1 to 10(1 being mild, 10 being very spicy.) My waitress served my Pad Thai saying it was a 1 when I ordered a 3, and when I told her I ordered a 3, she gave me a dirty look and retorted that they only do a system of mild, medium, and spicy. I was initially confused at the inconsistency, but I assumed it was just her excuse. However, the food was served in a very timely manner, so I had an overall decent experience.

I love the food, the service when I’ve dined there and they also deliver! I’ll just never understand why any type of Asian food is so expensive in Las Vegas??? It won’t make me take a star off of Pinkaow, I just really want to understand why it’s so overpriced in the Las Vegas Valley???

Came here tonight for my mom’s bday. We ordered: Drinks — Thai iced tea & young coconut juice Appetizer — spring rolls Soup — Tom yum(the one with shrimp) Entrée — catfish delight & the snow pea or something like that The Thai iced tea wasnt too sweet — good mixture. My mom said the coconut was good. The spring rolls were good! It only contained vegetables & a sweet & sour sauce came with it. It was fried perfectly. The Tom yum soup was delicious! Spiciness level 5 is perfection — not too spicy, just the right amount. Catfish delight is probably my favorite. I would have liked it to be a little more crispy but given its in a curry, it was great. The snow pea dish thing was alright, wasn’t too crazy about it. Service was good! They were readily available to take our order & always asked if we needed anything else. Overall, it was a good dinner!

3 ½ stars. Second time visiting this location during lunch on a weekday. Heart the décor of the interior of this restaurant. Started off with a refreshing solid glass of Thai ice tea. Instead of ordering a lunch special I went with the ala carte yellow curry which came with steamed rice. The sauce was spot on but the white chick meat was on the tough side which was disappointing but the sauce and potatoes over the steam rice was yummy. Service was attentive from the entire staff this time around and friendly. I’ll probably be back but would avoid the chicken curry and try another entrée.

Came here for lunch and had the Shrimp Pad Thai lunch special! It comes with an egg roll, wonton, and egg soup. To be honest, the soup was just ok. Needs a little more flavor. The pad Thai though, at a spice of 7, was on point! There’s a help wanted sign on the door, so initially I was worried thinking they were understaffed and the dining room was pretty busy. Completely not the case. I was being half way rude(on an important phone call) when I walked in and the lady host was still accommodating and under stood my signal for party of one. Shortly after the server emerged and took my swift order. I only asked for hot green tea as my beverage and he took he liberty of bringing me an ice water as well. When it was time to pay they were also very attentive and quick with asking if I needed a Togo box, bringing the check, and bringing back my change. Didn’t seem like they needed new staff at all! I’ll definitely be back… Maybe next time with a date! Lol

This place is ok. Not bad. Not mind blowing. Due to the lack of Thai restaurants I have near my house it is my go to for take out on my way home when I am craving Thai food so that has to count for something. If it was that awful I would just talk myself out of my craving, but I don’t have to here and for that I AM thankful.

Came to this location for the first time because it was by our house. I’ve been to the one in the North West part of town and their food was good there as well. When it comes to asian food there is lots to choose from in my neck of the woods and Thai is one that I tend to skip because I’m bias and also my go to is normally Thai Noodle House because they are good, cheap and taste just like moms. But I didn’t want to drive that far and I knew that I wouldn’t be disappoint with Pin Kaow. I went in with my 1 and a half pint size mini me and of coarse everyone always falls in love with her. But that didn’t score me anything LOL. We walked up to this huge elegant high counter in the middle of the dinning room to order. The ladies there were super friendly, the Resturant has a huge bar which I want to come back to and it was decorated with fresh orchids and traditional Thai décor(very nice). Even though there was tradition music playing in the background it was extremely quite for me, kind of like everyone was looking around and didn’t want to be disturbing and whispering under their breaths to carry on a convo sort of museums type and that to me would make me feel weird dinning there. I’m mean I don’t expect it to be obnoxious and clubby but huh idk. Any how we ordered the Kungpow chick(I know kung pow at a Thai place… my wife is white LOL no racial)! But that’s what she loves and that’s what she gets. Besides I’m trying little by little to expand her taste palette and slowly but surely we are progressing. My choice was the pork Penang curry and for the little one, her all time favorite chick fried rice. The Kungpow was done Thai style still with peanuts and still had the same flavor the difference I think is that it is more saucy or gravey-y if you well as oppose to a dry Chinese style but in a good way, regardless my wife loved it and devoured it. My Penang curry was pretty thick with coconut milk but very good because it coded the white rice perfectly I think I would prefer it to be a little bit more runny then it was. The pork was cooked right even though I still couldn’t tell if it was actually pork or if it was chicken and the flavor was there. I got a level 6 of spiciness and it was more like a 2 so if you like spicy just go big or go home. The chicken fried rice was of coarse Thai style with a few big slices of tomatoes mixed in and no must no fust and very light and yummy. All in all prices were fair and it was everything you expect from a Thai Resturant and Pin Kaow is well known for there tradition take in Las Vegas. I will definitely be back.

Tonight was our 2nd time dining here in the past 6 months. Honestly I forgot we were here before until we walked in the place and I recognized the interior. It is very nicely decorated, except for one piece of décor that was bothering…24 surveillance cameras inside the restaurant. It’s one thing to have a security camera at the front/rear door or focused on a cash register, but 24 surveillance cameras aimed at each of the patron tables and booths?! This camera«décor» did not provide a very comfortable nor romantic dinner booth atmosphere. I asked how come there are so many security cameras inside this restaurant and the server smiled, giggled and walked away. The manager told me there are 24 indoor security cameras, after she questioned me counting their unique ceiling décor. I asked this manager how come there are so many security cameras and am very thankful she also did not evade the question by giggling and walking away. She told me they were robbed at in broad daylight a few months ago and I joked and asked if they stole the chili peppers and recipe books. She at least had a bit of sense of humor to laugh at my joke and said they took a tv, cash register and liquor. I then asked how come they have so many of these security cameras aimed at the customer tables and booths and she replied something to the effect of to prevent customer issues. None of this really made any sense in this suburban area. Lotus of Siam, a decent Thai restaurant, located in Commercial Center which is crack dealing central does not even have 3 cameras, let alone 24. My conclusion is very paranoid ownership and personally, I don’t appreciate Big Brother watching me swallow my dinner. The Curry Panang was good at a 3 spicy level. She added vegetables to the entrée for an addtl $ 2 bucks, as it only had green beans included. Not enough white rice included, only a small order; so we requested more rice which we were charged another $ 2 extra bucks. The iced tea is from the fountain, not home brewed, so I sent it back and ordered hot jasmine tea instead which was ok. The Spicy Basil w/ground pork tasted good at a 10 spicy level, only came w/a small white rice, still not enough rice for this dish. The Chicken Pad Thai was also good at a spicy 10 level, but very minimal chicken and about 1 tablespoon of crushed peanuts served in a tiny sauce cup. Between the 24 cameras and the rationed food portions w/an extra charge of $ 2 bucks here and $ 2 bucks there… I will stick to Archi’s for Thai.

Had lunch here the other day. I was really craving the silver noodle salad. It was pretty cold and windy out so some soup sounded good too. We had the tom yung soup with shrimp which they lit the fire at the table, pretty cool concept! The soup was full of flavor, we asked for spice level 2 and it was just right. The other flavors in the soup I believe added a little extra spice but a very delicious add! Mushrooms were a little too earthy for the soup so I would suggest a different type of mushroom. We ordered the silver noodle salad and beef salad. Silver noodle salad was good, spice level 4. The spices really add to the flavor of the salad. The beef salad however, maybe because it was spice level of 1 unfortunately didn’t have much flavor. The dressing tasted like water. Service overall was adequate. It is close to my house so I am sure I will go back.

Visited on a late afternoon during a weekday, sampled lunch special spicy basil pork level 6 spicy out of 10. They have a nice variety of different lunch specials and the prices are good for what is offered. Service was quick and everything I tasted was delicious. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and I would recommend dining here if you happen to be in area, but there are also other comparable Thai food restaurants in the area that can compete in terms of food quality/portions.

This used to be our go to place for good Thai for the past 4 years. But the last few time we’ve been disappointed with the lack of consistency in the quality of food. I don’t know if they got a new chef or it depends on the day of the week, but I think we need a new Thai place. I always order tofu fried rice or pineapple fried rice. The past few times they’ve been overly salted or bland and not cooked all the way through. Today my tofu fried rice spicy 1 had red pepper flakes all over the place. I’ve never had my Thai food peppered with tons of red flakes before, no matter what place I’ve gone too. I don’t even think the pepper was added while cooking but as an after thought — it tasted like red pepper flakes with a side of rice. Sooo sad :(

We decided to try Pin Kaow Thai since we heard good things about this restaurant. It was even voted as one of the best Thai restaurants in Las Vegas in 2012. However, it was nothing special. I was kinda disappointed, I was expecting more. It’s just an average, at most, Thai restaurant. The chicken yellow curry was average, padthai was average, catfish was on the chewy side. The servings were small also for the price. I did like the appetizers(fish cake, and chicken angel wings).

Pink cow! I mean, pin kaow! Love their pad Thai! Def one of my favorite dishes. Love that they have such great sized lunch specials. Includes soup, egg rolls and wonton plus the main dish. I like the pad Thai with chicken or shrimp. It’s a little different with steak. Not as traditional. What makes me love this place is I can adjust the heat. Sometimes I like it spicy or sometimes I’m a wuss and like it mild. Mild for me is a three and sometimes 7 can be really spicy. So just be careful my friends with the heat level, it can bite you in the ass haha.

It’s funny. We were driving northbound on Rainbow heading towards Archie’s when we spotted Pin Kaow. Living right around the corner from the Eastern location, we are big fans of Pin Kaow and dine there frequently. We sat down and ordered — Pad See Ew — Chicken Fried Rice — app serving of egg drop soup with each entrée — an app of pork satays The service was very speedy here! It really felt as though the wait time was practically non existent! Drinks were refilled without asking(which is a huge pet peeve of mine if not addressed in a timely fashion). And, as expected, the food was superb! Everything was hot and fresh! The pad see ew is a favorite of mine and this did not disappoint! Plus the chicken and egg in the fried rice was very fresh and tasty! We’ll be moving to this side of town soon and I’m very excited to have a Pin Kaow right around the corner! 4 solid stars!

If you’re in the Southwest part of the valley as I seem to be more lately, Pin Kaow is a solid choice for Thai food. There are three Pin Kaow locations; I’ve been to Pin Kaow 1(Rainbow/Lake Mead) on my side of town several times, but it was my first time at Pin Kaow 2(Rainbow/Robindale). I’m happy to report that the quality of the food and the customer service are the same at both locations. We came here for Sunday dinner around 6:30pm and were seated in a booth immediately. I really like the Thai décor at these restaurants and the food and service were on point. Girlfriend and I shared the following: Mango Salad($ 8.95): I always order this salad, which I prefer over papaya any day; light and refreshing, with enough of a kick for me to handle. I’m trying to leave the zero spice level behind and grow up; I ordered it at spice level 3 and survived. Panang Curry with chicken($ 9.95): This has become my new favorite Thai dish, since I was schooled on panang recently. I’m not a fan of curry in general, but there’s coconut milk in panang and I am a fan of that. I chose brown rice instead of white rice; if there was an upcharge for this, I don’t know what it is because I forgot to check. Pad See Ew with shrimp($ 9.95): Another favorite noodle dish and a nice break from Pad Thai, which used to be the only thing I’d ever order. The shrimp were plentiful and delicious. We were checked on frequently and our water glasses were never empty. This experience was so good that the Thai food phase that I’m currently in is going to last a while longer. I even forgot to take pictures because we were so ready to eat. I’m looking forward to the next visit and hopefully we’ll even have the sweet rice with mango dessert – after Lent.

This was my first visit back to Pin Kaow in several years and I still can’t say that they are a favorite of mine. The restaurant is very nice looking. Large, clean and nicely decorated. We came in around noon and there were two other parties seated already. The restaurant was eerily quiet, I wish there was louder music playing to offset the awkward silence. My mom and I almost felt like we needed to whisper, it was that quiet. We ordered a chicken fried rice and basil duck to share. The rice was tasty, but it’s hard to screw up fried rice. The basil duck was pretty good as well. The sauce was good, but a little lacking in substance. The flavors are a lot more subtle than I would like. Overall, Pin Kaow is just an ok dining spot in the valley.
