The following review is in no way meant to disrespect the hard work that all of the performers put into the show. What drew us to the show was the fact that it was Pin Up style through the years, with big band music. Seemed like it could be really great and interesting. The night we went, the main star was off for the night, so LouLou D’vil was her stand in. That was fine for us, as we didn’t go to see anyone in particular, and she was pretty and good at what she did when she was on stage. The premise of the show is based on a 12 month calendar with a dance number or two for each month. There were 4 female dancers, a male dancer and a 6 piece band plus a singer and LouLou D’vil. I assumed there would be a different style of pin-up each month, moving through the years. No such luck. The only pin up thing about the show was the hair style/make up of the girls… kind of 40s/50s, and the theme for each month didn’t really go. The band was good, the singer fine, the girls pretty, but the show, terrible. Boring. We would have left but the venue is very intimate and it would have felt rude. If felt like a B movie… or a high school production that you had to sit through because someone you know is in the cast. There was no narration, except oddly for one month, no overall theme, the choreography was less than stellar, the strip teases weren’t exciting… the stage set up was deathly boring and felt cheap. Blah. I kept counting down the months as they appeared on the oversized TV screens that flanked the stage and showed what was going on, on the stage… which seemed odd too… now, if you had vintage footage the entire time, syncing with whatever decade was being portrayed, then that would have been interesting. But, I’m literally watching live what is going on, on the screens. And there was no decades, no theme… just a lot of trying not to pop up and leave. The venue was seats in the back, booths, and then tables in the front, which means if you’re a couple, you may end up sharing a booth or a table with another couple… kind of random, but it wasn’t full when we went, so we were fine. The frosty drinks were very weak, but it was something to do while we watched the show, and the waitresses were nice. The concept could have been so awesome… but instead it was dull and low end. Sad we chose to spend our evening and money on this show. I think of Vegas shows as being top notch, flashy/interesting, quality productions with some pretty good talent… this did not fit the bill.

Great show, 3.5 stars! We were lucky enough the night we decided to go that LouLou D’vil, the 2013 Miss Exotic World was the guest star & she was hot ass hell. We got a great price on groupon & I felt I got my money’s worth. The theme of the show is obviously pin ups but in a calendar girl theme. A different performance for each month of the year. All the performers were great dancers & it was well choreographed. We enjoyed it & have been happy to suggest people check it out!

I love, I love, I love my calendar girl! Pin Up’s premise refers to back in the day, when the boys were overseas fighting for the red, white, and blue and Pin Up calendars full of beautiful, voluptuous women were used to keep up morale and to encourage the boys to fight the good fight. Claire Sinclair, of Playboy fame, is the star of this show and after one glimpse, you see why the title aptly fits; she’s the epitome of vintage Pin Up glam. Creamy, porcelain skin, long, luscious, dark brown flowing locks, perfect bangs, and a curvaceous silhouette. Joining Claire is Lisa Marie who lays the pipes from agnsty Garabge’s «Only Happy When It Rains,» to Christina Aguilera’s «Candyman, to Peggy Lee’s, You Gotta Have Heart.» They’re not only sung to perfection, but backed up by a KILLER6-piece band. It’s a musical extravaganza! The music adds to the show’s retro feel, which perfectly accent Sinclair’s own retro Pin Up vibe! Set through out the course of a calendar, there are 5 dancers that accompany Ms. SinClair and they’re dancing everything from jazz, to tap, to swing, to a woman that rocks the pole! The show has no nudity, but there are lots and lots and lots of pasties. With all this talent on stage, live band, beautiful women, and Sinclair’s high kilowatt smile, I always leave with a smile and some rendition of a pop song stuck in my head. After the show, Ms. Sinclair does a meet and greet with the audience. Where you can nab a picture with the cast. Pin Up is sexy, fun, and flirty. Perfect for bachelor parties, girls night out, or even a couple looking to spice things up!

I love this show and Miss Clair Sinclair as well as the other girls. Music is a little too loud though for my taste and I wish they sat us closer as were pretty much all the way in the back. However I wanna include something else not to affect my review of this great show so that everyone knows how bad both Treasure Island and the Stratosphere are in not honoring groupon buffets Misinformation at Ticketing and Groupon Buffets not honored This is the second hotel along with Treasure Island that did not honor buffets that were reserved on the phone and in person which were booked through Groupon. Paid $ 200 + Tax for Buffet and Show for 4 people. I called and was told to come around 9pm and book in person, when I did i was then told by ticketing booth that buffet is after the show. Show was 9:30 and ended around 10:45 and much to my surprise and embarassment to my guests, the buffet was closed! The management at ticketing booth downgraded us to the Roxy’s Diner for burgers only and we were then turned away by another manager there. It was more embarassing having gone inside and be turned away. When I went back to ticketing booth all i got was SORRYWERENOTABLETOHONORTHEBUFFETORACCOMMODATEIFTHEDINERHASALREADYTURNEDYOUAWAY. It became a lively debate and people were looking, another manager said she’ll try to email higher personnel to get an approval for us to go back to the DOWNGRADEDDINNERATROXY’S DINER, made it seem like she was doing us a favor. I was already done ready to go and just write bad reviews as well as inform Groupon of all the inconveniences we received from these two hotels not honoring and misinforming us over the phone when we booked with them directly.

We are fans! Love how the cast stays after and takes pictures and chats with their fans. The show is a nice blend of sexy and playfulness. Claire is everything and more. She truly enjoys what she does because it shows in her performances. We have seen this show twice and can’t wait to go again.

We bought tickets to this show hoping to see Claire Sinclair. Naturally, I was extremely disappointed when Claire wasn’t EVENINTHATNIGHT’S SHOW!!! The lead singer was cute, but her voice sounded more like an older woman’s. She did not show as much skin as her costars. I also found her banter during her songs both distracting and annoying. Claire’s replacement was very attractive, but our entire booth found her tattoo covered body detracted from her beauty. I have nothing against tattoos… they can be amazing, but when the whole body is covered it’s a bit much. When I asked my wife to contribute to this review about what she thought of the show, her response… she thought it was«meh.»

Pin up is awesome! This is the perfect show for a girls night out or evening with your significant other. Although i loved each detail of the show the band was by far my favorite! I have been to a few shows on the stirp and this is my favorite! The girls are great performers. This is a tasteful, sexy and fun show! I highly recommend it!

I found this show to be a total bore. First, the seating is not a traditional theater, more like a comedy show with small tables. We were assigned seats at a four top with another couple, when the theater was more than half empty. We asked the host if we could sit behind them in a completely empty row, and thankfully she said it was fine. Clair is beautiful, and I guess her best assets sets her apart from other showgirls and Playmates, in the fact that her boobs actually move like real ones. LOL But the show itself was slow and the dancers were not very good. The four female dancers were always about a half a beat off, and the monitors on the side also had a split second lag. It made it very distracting. Honestly, it felt like a bad cruise ship show but with titties. The male dancer was always on beat though. The main singer which looked similar to Claire was great, as was the band, but the band leader(the bass player) was too much of a ham. The performances had nothing to do with each of the months. We made it through to August and then split.

Not gonna lie. I thought this show was gonna be terrible. We were going thru all the things we could do during our final days in Vegas. It ultimately came down to seeing a Burlesque show, so we rated them, and of them all, this one had the lowest ratings. We(my wife and I) were OVER zombies at this point, so it boiled down to 2 different shows. This one, and I dont remember the other. After going thru the reviews we were VERY hesitant about going with this one, but found we could get these tickets for cheap compared to the other shows, and thought ‘it cant be that bad’. I walked out of the show entertained. I didn’t even know who Claire Sinclair was, but now I’m a fan. The show was great… NOWIMNOTGONNASAYITSONEOFTHEBESTSHOWSINVEGAS, but I do think with some tweeks here and there, it definitely could be a contender for one of the best shows there. I’ve been to, what I’ll call«neo-burlesque shows» and this was definitely one of the better ones. This show definitely has a lot going for it. Between the girls, the dancing, the choreography, the singing, and the music, and the venue, this show was awesome. It actually kinda saddens me to look around during the show and find that there were a lot of empty seats. On the downsides. I think the venue for this kind of show is PERFECT, but it was wasted. The show could have been WAY more interactive with the crowd, but they barely involved the crowd I felt. I also think some sketches were better than others, and sometimes the routines didnt have enough tease. I mean a 3 minute sketch, and the girl was practically naked in the first 20 seconds… And sometimes it was awkward. At some point, the dancer was doing a hand stand. It just felt so weird and random. At the end of the day, this is going to be a show I remember. I went in thinking«Damn, an hour and a half show», but the time FLEW by, I was sad it was going to be over soon. I can only hope the show gets better, but the way it is now I definitely enjoyed it. Pleasantly Surprised.

To be honest: the show wasn’t all that much. The band was great, the dancers were also very good, and if that was all to the show, I’d probably give it another star. Claire Sinclair is truly a beautiful woman, and you can see why she was Playboy’s Playmate of the Year, but her coming out at various and sundry times during the show and displaying her attributes covered in a couple of pasties actually detracts from the show. A couple of the female dancers also go topless with pasties during a couple of the musical numbers, but it seems to be more like an afterthought that a deliberate part of the show. It was free, so I’m not complaining, but I don’t think I’ll be paying to see it again anytime soon. Oh, the bartender outside also shorted the drinks.

The show Pin Up at the Stratosphere is by far my favorite show to see while I’m in Vegas. I can’t even watch the same movie twice, yet I have already gone back to see Pin Up three times over the course of this year. I love anything 50s, pinup, and vintage. This show is oozing with it. The format of the show is fun, mimicking a 12 month calendar — each act being a different«month» on the calendar. I love all the variety in the show. It features six great«show girl» dancers, a phenomenal live singer, one enthusiastic male dancer, and a live six piece band. They must’ve searched high and low to recruit Las Vegas’s best performers — it seems they have the true cream of the crop all on one stage. Playmate of the year 2011 Claire Sinclair hosts the show. She has a body reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe and other sexy pinup models of the past. Claire hosts with a comedically entertaining undertone and also dances in about half the numbers in the show. My favorite act is her fun throwback striptease. The theater is not huge, so any seat in the house is a great seat. The drinks from the bar are tasty, and come in awesome souvenir Pinup glasses that are really cute. If you have to see only one show in Vegas, it has to be this one. Whether you’re looking for singing, dancing, a live band, magic tricks or burlesque — this show literally has all of that. A little something for everyone. Running an hour and a half long, you definitely get your money’s worth. I recommend it to all :)

good show — I liked the feature dance numbers, the feature playboy Clair’s looks, but would not pay full price. I used my membership + 40’s swing themed show + dancers earn their money with their performances + Clair uses a set of limited wiggles and grinds well — drinks are $ 11 for wine, $ 9 for cocktail — having seen classic burlesque, I think the pastie reveal is too early, more tease please. Overall — saw it, would suggest for friends that want a modified version of a musical show with pasties and a twenty-something playboy model.

I wanted to like this show, I really did. But I thought it was awful and completely boring. The dancing wasn’t very impressive and Clair doesn’t do much in the show other than shake her boobs. The backup dancers and singers are the show and Clair is just there to look good. I hate to say this, but she doesn’t have any talent at all. The theatre is very small so don’t waste your money on «good seats». You will get a good view from anywhere in the theatre. With all the shows Vegas has to offer, i would skip this one. We thought about leaving mid way through, but thought it had to get better at some point… unfortunately it did not.

Okay, so here’s the deal. This is a very tame burlesque show. Pasties galore, fishnets, feathers, and tear away costumes. The idea of the show is that each scene is a different month of the year, January-December. Everyones reviews on here about Claire Sinclair are not, entirely, false. No, she doesn’t sing,(Lisa Marie does that and she is one hell-of-a singer let me tell you…) she DOES bounce around on stage a lot, she wears very little clothing,(and holy heck she doesn’t need to wear any) and she has a wonderfully playful and sensual stage prescence. The other performers are PHENOMENAL. The band is hot, the solo guy performer, and the women… don’t get me started. Their moves were spot on, their bodies were perfect, and their dance numbers showed off their true talent and just how committed they are to the art of Burlesque dancing. My one, ANDONLY complaint is that the chairs were uncomfortable. LUCKILY I couldn’t give a flying f*** if I was uncomfortable or not. The show is witty, charming, and a delcious, intimate taste of classic Vegas showmanship. My boyfriend and I were expecting to see some a**(which we did), some boob action,(which we also did), some flirtation,(it never stopped) and some«Pin Up» esque performances and all our expections were not only met but EXCEEDED. This show is a must see. We will be returning to this show; No questions asked.

This was a fun show. No nudity but there doesn’t need to be. It’s all done classy with the pasties covering up the goods. The dancers are awesome as was the band. Great 1940’s period music with some 60’s Dick Dale style surf tunes thrown in there as well. Good sets with decent lighting. I guess the only mediocre thing about the show was Claire Sinclaire who didn’t seem to be really into it, nor was she a personable emcee. The venue is nice, larger than I had expected, good seats, booth and table style, and the sight lines appeared to be pretty good. No bad seats in other words. Wasn’t any drink minimum and the staff were all on the ball. Overall a good time!

Before seeing Pin Up, I was already aware that the show was a «clean» burlesque show-meaning that there was no nudity. I received comped tickets for this show and managed to score seating at a comfy booth in the third row back. I didn’t really have high expectations for Pin Up walking in, and the show indeed turned out to be just«okay». Pin Up is supposed to be Playmate of 2011 Claire Sinclair’s show, but in actuality she is more of a side note to her own show. She is mostly in the background bouncing around awkwardly or is being danced around by the professional cast. Sinclair neither sings or dances. She has a few solo acts where she strips down and makes sure to shake her boobs and butt a lot, but her performance ends there. While there is no nudity, Sinlcair does *spoiler alert* bare just about all in a g-string and nipple tassels during one act. The show itself is organized on the months of the year beginning with January and ending in December. The show lasts an hour and half(a bit too long for my taste). Sinclair’s four female dancers and one male dancer make up most up the show. A singer and 6-piece band provide the background music to the show, but have their own solo acts as well. My favorite part of the show was a swing dancing skit accompanied by big band music. It is evident that Sinclair’s dancers are professional dancers with training in ballet and tap-dance. All the dancers and musicians were on point as far as I could tell. Overall, the show was unnecessarily lengthy in time and was organized poorly. The professional dancers, singer, and six-piece band were talented and entertaining but not enough to reconcile the show’s drawbacks. I would really only recommend this show if you were a huge fan of Claire Sinclair.

I saw this once during a UYE thanks to my good Unilocal friend Mary Rose F. I thought then it was just an ok 3 stars. It didn’t really appeal to me very much. I was thinking maybe I was tired that night. So I watch it again with some friends from out of town. After seeing it again for the second time, now I knew I have seen better. So the show is called Pin Up featuring Claire Sinclair. The theme is based on all 12 months of the calendar. You have a live band with a lead singer, some female dancers, and one guy. *Yawn. That’s the show in a nutshell. Very dangerous to those allergic to nuts. I gotta admit, when I saw on the billboard outside it says Playboy Playmate of the Year 2011 Claire Sinclair, I was thinking… BOOBIES! After all, this is Vegas with strip clubs on just about every street corner. Imagine, Claire and what ever other chick she has with her jumping on a trampoline, sucking on a lolipop in one hand and a remote control in the other changing channels looking for the big game… ok, so I got carried away a little bit. The trampoline was a bit much. How bout washing a car while eating a bacon cheeseburger? Anyways, I have nothing against Claire. She has a pretty face and tight body but that’s about it. She cant dance or sing. My wife even remarked to me that her voice sounds pretty low. I guess she really belongs in a magazine because there is no action involved. What I found weird was that Claire was not even the main focus of the show. I would say she made her presence known about 40 percent of the time. The lead singer and the back up dancers were pretty much the whole show. There was a moment where one of the blonde voluptuous dancers did a stripper type dance type routine on a stripper pole. It’s not a trampoline but hay, im a guy, I will take whatever slutty entertainment that is given to me. So for those that are thinking about seeing this show, make sure you are not tired and I suggest you drink up. Sometimes things are a little bit more entertaining when you are drunk or at least buzzed. Plus the cocktail waitresses will be able to earn their money.

I love Claire from her being on reality tv and being friends with Holly. I just always thought that she seemed super duper sweet… and yep! I was right! I really think I have an official girl crush! Great…now I sound like a stalker… LOL! I was super excited to see this show but I did not have high expectations! I know that sounds weird but I just could not help to think that it would be super cheesy… ITWAS! In a yummy cheesecake way! The show is setup like the 12 calendar months and Claire explains that right from the get-go. Throughout each month there are songs sang by the«blonde lady» :) sorry I did not catch her name. Claire has a group of super fancy backup dancers that are out of this world! Especially Corey? she is the curvy blonde that works a pole like I never imagined in my whole wide world was ever possible! WOW! If you love campy, classic, at some parts super cool magic trick, non nude Pin Up and you love Claire like I do… GOJUSTGO! You have to see the show. I was very lucky to have had a chance to meet Claire in person after the show!(see pic)

You know that creepy guy who’s obsessed with someone clearly out of his reach? Well, that’s me to an extent in regard to Claire. OK it’s not that bad, and really, what 22 year old Playmate of the year wouldn’t be interested in a guy like me? Don’t answer that. But hey it must be true and I have pics to prove it :-) I honestly haven’t seen any of her other… ummm…work, but I do drive by the billboard on a daily basis and have more times than not nearly crashed my car. That’s marketing at its best. Sometimes leaving something to the imagination is a good thing; so alas I will not be hunting down copies of Playboy magazine or scouring the Internet for pics. You believe me right? I thought the show was fantastic and we were given the VIP treatment. Though some feel the show lacked stage time by Claire, the kick ass band, accompanying performers and great company of my fellow Unilocalers made up for it. There was something for everyone here: magic, dancing, singing, a good band, beautiful people, acrobatics. I can’t think of a better way to spend an hour or two… back to that; Claire, I misplaced your number. Message me here please :-)
