VERYSLOOOOOOOOOOW Service even when there is NOONE here. And you get the TINIEST portion of rice for a $ 11+ entrée lunch. And you will have to PAYEXTRA for more rice. You will wait 20 minutes for water, 20 minutes for order, 20 minutes for anything. Even if NOONE is there. Geez. A bit of a STRANGEVIBE too. I wonder who are these 4 stars customers. I really do WONDER. The food is MEH. The rice is not good either. Portion is TINY. NEVERCOMEAGAIN. WANT amazing Thai food?! Go to KOMOL! Bloody great food!

I drove by here so many times and wasn’t interested in stopping based on the outside appearance. Then I found out many of my coworkers are regulars and they insisted the food is good. Now I’ve been in a couple of times and I’m glad that I gave this place a try. The duck wraps and the spring rolls are great starters. Both are delicious. I’ve had Pad Thai with Chicken on both visits and here that isn’t a boring choice. The Pad Thai is really good. Both times I intended to take half as leftovers, but just couldn’t stop. The salad that comes with the lunch special has a nice tasting dressing, but isn’t that thrilling overall. The service was friendly, but on my last visit it was too slow. There was a quite a lag before they took drink orders and then a wait at the end for the check. Overall, great food and great prices so this will be a regular spot for me. Hopefully next time I won’t be craving Pad Thai and I can try something new!

My husband’s been here before for lunch– so we decided to come here for dinner. Was surprised that it was quiet– maybe because it was almost 8:00pm on Friday. Loved the tom ka gai soup and the spicy catfish, and the chicken yellow curry. Ordered it as a 2 and right amount of heat. More people walked in after us, so felt more comforted that we weren’t the only ones in the place. The service was great. The décor was better than I thought– most Asian restaurants are very dated and simple. Overall, will definitely be back.

Ping Pong Thai offers very fresh food served with smiles. We enjoyed the Panang Curry which we poured on to fragrant combination fried rice. The rice had four huge, succulent prawns along with tender beef and chicken to go with ample vegetables. The spring rolls were crispy and flaky, not greasy, and the papaya salad was really balanced; however, be careful to order it very mild(1 on their 1 – 4 scale) as they use fresh Thai chilis that give off an intense heat.

Burst of lemon grass cilantro rich flavor of authentic tom Ka soup. Pad Thai was good with rich flavor a. Spring rolls were very fresh and crispy. I really appreciate how they aren’t super sweet like a lot of Thai places seem to be. The only other Thai restaurant of course besides Lotus of Siam and Archis that is good enough for me to return.

This is the worst to go experience I have ever had. I came in and ordered beef pad Thai. Pretty simple. I then proceeded to wait 40 minutes for my order. I watched 3 tables come in, get menus, order and get their food before I finally had enough and went up and asked what was taking so long. And why did these other people who came in after I did for their food before me. They then tried to tell me that those people had called in their orders before coming to dine in. I HADWATCHEDTHEMGETMENUS. So then they asked me what I had ordered which confirmed that they had lost or forgot my order. Then to top it all off I finally get my food and it is one of the smallest portions I have ever seen. Plus their«salad» is a small handful of lettuce with some shredded carrot. Pitiful. I will never eat at this place again.

I likey. Been here 2 days in a row. Id make it 3 but when people offer to buy lunch at Spago or the like I just go ‘Ok.’ But Id rather be here! Shit why didnt I try this sooner? I was probably put off by the stupid name which makes me think of Asian chicks shooting ping pong balls out of their spring rolls. That and Im very wary of thai spots since Ive dated a few and know wassup. That said, damn they are busy for lunch. Place kinda reminds me of a poor man’s Archi’s. Bigger than you’d expect, décor is nice except they could use a can of paint or three, menus are a little ratty i.e. plastic is peeling all over them and theyve been touched by more rough hands than Amy Schumer. Crowded as hell during lunch but no issues with service. But who cares, lessssss talk food. Food looks good, the salad with the regular lunch special looks special i.e. it doesnt look like a few wimpy pieces of iceberg lettuce. Portions seem to be a good size. You think Deez Nutz orders off the lunch menu? Pfft. I order a small tom yum goong with a side of white rice. The small is about 12 – 16 oz, like a Progesso soup can. Their rendition of tom yum is phenom. Fresh mushrooms(so important), shrimps dont have tail shells, very few onions, one can taste the earthiness of the in-house, dry-roasted spices. Price is $ 6.95 plus $ 1 for rice equals $ 8.61 with tax. I love it. You gotta take a small spoonful of rice then grab the broth. Then grab some broth and food and repeat. Completely satisfying. The truth is once you start eating your mind tells you to stop after 20 minutes — you all know that. This meal completely does the trick because the small with a side of rice takes about that time if you’re not molesting your meal. Plus because it’s so busy, it’s great people watching. Drink two glasses of water with that and you will be peeing all night. Peeing is good for you — your bowels twerking and working is a good thing. Maybe Ill try the lunch specials one day, but for now Im completely content ordering what I do and I think their tom yum is tits, could be best-of in the SE because thai places that make killer broths then fuck it up with canned mushrooms should be introduced to ISIS. I should smack myself for not coming sooner! It’s a bottom bitch place for me for now. #wewantfreshnotcannedmushroomsholla Manager is cute too. I may slide some digits on that dime.

Conveniently located(for me) on Sunset next to the park, a few miles from my office. Solid 3.5 to 4 stars for their lunch specials menu. I’ve eaten lunch at Ping Pong many times over the last 5 years, but I have never ventured off the lunch menu. Service has always been fast and friendly at this family run Thai restaurant and the food has been served hot and fresh. The spiciness scale here is 1 – 4, and I find that a 3 is hot enough for me. I’ve tried a bunch of the lunch specials, but always come back to the my go-to’s, which are Pad Thai, Basil Chicken, and Pad Kee Maw. The lunch special comes with the soup of the day or salad and non-noodle dishes are accompanied by steamed rice. You can substitute fried or brown rice for $ 1.00. Coke products are $ 2.50. Not surprisingly, I ordered the $ 6.95 Basil Chicken lunch special on my last visit, with steamed rice. It was delicious, per usual. The veggies were crunchy, the chicken spicy and flavorful, and the rice helped cool down the spice when I needed it. My friend ordered the $ 6.95 Chicken Chow Mein lunch special and enjoyed it thoroughly. She said she would definitely get it again. Lunch Specials are available M-F 11 – 4, and S-S 12 – 4.

This was a first visit to this place and we sincerely enjoyed the entire experience. It is a quite place tucked away right next to Sunset Park, if you are not paying attention you may miss it. Inside the atmosphere is amazing. For a Thai place playing soft rock and roll, very cool. The décor is very nice and welcoming. The staff is friendly, helpful and very attentive to your needs. We got there about 6:30pm and there was only one booth that was occupied. They have several booths and tables as well as delivery and people who call in and come pick the food up. We started with the Thai Spring Rolls and they were AMAZING!!! We then had the Pad Thai, the Cashew Chicken and the Green Curry which was all EXCELLENT. We love Thai food and have tried several places in town and this one was way above the rest. From the service, the ambiance, the size of the place and the FOOD. Did I mention the food was AMAZING. We really liked this place and I encourage you to give this place a try and share your experience.

Friendly staff, affordable and very tasty food. Their lunch special 11am — 4pm. Dinner 4pm — 10pm. Lunch come with choice of soup or salad. Spicy level scale from 1 – 4. I recommend Yum Woon Sen(glass noodle salad), Beef jerky, Woon Sen PadThai(glass noodle PadThai) and Basil Chicken. For those who don’t eat meat, they can substitute meat to Tofu. Authentic Thai!!!

If I could give it «zero» star I would… Service is good but food is horrible. Iced tea tastes like ashtray(synthetic powder). Lowest meat quality they could buy. Beef noodles soup is greasy and tastes like instant beef broth. Chicken chili mint is bland.

I’ve come by here a few times and it’s probably one of my top favorite Thai places to eat in Vegas. The atmosphere is great, the place is pretty quiet and not hectic, which makes for nice evening dinners. The price is on the decent side for the amount of food you get and the wait staff is fairly friendly and attentive. My favorite dish here is the panang curry. They don’t really make the food that spicy, so I order a «4» on their spice scale(1 – 4) for a more authentic taste. Served with your choice of brown or white rice. The pad thai, another popular dish, is also good and comes in a good sized portion, I usually take leftovers home. I get everything with vegetables or tofu so I can’t comment on how good the meat is here. Worth a try, and it’s a place I defintely will retun to in the future

One of the better Thai places out here in Las Vegas. The food was fresh, hot and greatly flavorful. Their curries and noodle dishes are delicious. And they make a really good Pad Thai. If you are vegan, they can proudly substitute any chicken/beef broths with a vegetable base in their soup/noodle dishes as well as tofu. My favorite dish to order is the Tom Kha Gai. Although not the greatest I’ve had here, it was not as favorable as some other Thai places. They forgot the Keffir leaves and lime! Overall, I will definitely pay a visit again! Their Panang curry was amazing!

This review is for their to go service. I called in an order when I was feeling under the weather and not only was it done super quick, the pad thai lasted me three meals! Ping Pong is conveniently located off of Sunset and close to the airport so its perfect for grabbing a late night snack on the way home.

We came here on a Saturday evening and ordered 1. Pad see ew, chicken — 10.95 2. Panang curry, beef– 10.95 for 26 — Unpleasant welcome. Sticky door. Unfriendly greeting, but seated right away. — 2 girls helped us. Direct service. No congeniality. Want drinks? Order now? Here’s food. More Water? Check. Boring! I get more conversation and friendliness at a McDonald’s drive-thru. — Presentation is poor. Looks like something that was poured on a buffet line. — Pad see ew noodle was cut short. no chinese broccoli. flavoring was very good. portion was small. — Panang curry was great. veggies and beef slices were good. good portion of curry but poor serving of rice. not balanced. — Self serve to-go. — No bye. — Best received to-go but don’t dine in.

For years I have driven past Ping Pong Thai always thinking it was an adult themed Thai restaurant with ping pong shows. No shows here. They only have food. Not even one ping pong ball:( I’ve tried the Panang and found it to be watery and bland. The Pad Kee Maw is consistently delicious and packs enough spice I am satisfied ordering it at Medium heat. This dish is the only reason I come here. It’s certainly not for the service. The service is slow when dining in and good luck chasing down a refill. To Go orders are the exact opposite. Either way you choose you are still left feeling like a number. Boy do they pack the herd in at lunch. If only they had a Ping pong table I would gladly raise the star level. Maybe the owner is a ping pong champion from Thailand. Now that would be something to get excited about.

Here’s my review of Ping Pong Thai. 3 Stars for Service: We were seated right away and the restaurant was clean. My issue is the lack of service that we received once we placed our order and got our food. My advice… order an extra glass of water or maybe two extra. Once you get your food, you’ll never hear from them again until your bill arrives. 3 Stars for the Ambiance: This place is small and since there are a lot of people that dine here for lunch, you also feel cramped. It’s loud and a decent conversation with friends while you’re eating shouldn’t be expected. Come to think of it, I think it’s my friends that were the loud ones. Regardless, don’t expect any QT with your party if you eat here. 3 Stars for the Food: I got their Beef/Broccoli w/Brown Rice and a side of their Satay Chicken. The beef and broccoli was a bit salty with the highlight being the broccoli. As for the Satay chicken, this is not something that I would order again. Lacked taste and the portions were small. 4 Stars for Price: They got this part right. Lunch for 3 costs about $ 30, which is a great price. Portions, except their Satay Chicken, are huge. My friends are fans because they work in the area. That also probably means that I will be back. However, I’m not a fan. The service and food is just A-Ok. Note to self… stay away from their Satay Chicken.

3 ½ stars. Brought some clients in for lunch since they picked Ping Pong Thai. This was my first visit here and we arrived before the lunch hour which was a blessing BC it gets busy after the noon hour. Started off with a Thai Ice Tea — large and refreshing. I went with the soft tofu Pad Se Ew and requested no broccoli. The food arrived promptly although they included broccoli! I blew it off and didn’t make a stink about it but even my client mentioned he heard my request. The dish was still tasty and filling so I was content. This is my clients go to place since it’s near their office so I’ll return again here and give em another try.
