I’ve been coming here for 2 years and it has always been quick. I’ve never waited more than an hour. There’s a plebotomist that is very nice, I wish I knew her name.

I came here 3 times this week fasting for blood work, and had to leave each time due to waiting so looooong, this place looked like a meat market! Hoards of people just sitting around waiting for hours. This place is ridiculous!!! Do they have only one plebotomist working there? Appointments are a week or two. So i decided to go to quest on tropical pkwy and the wait was an hour. Still long but at least it wasnt like a swapmeet!!! Im fasting, and have gerd, i cant spend too much time without food. Hope someone important from Quest reads this and addressess this problem!

I went to this office last week for blood work. I have good insurance and my co-pays for labs are usually $ 5 – 10. Upon my check in they stated I would need to pay $ 75! When I explained that I have insurance and my copays are normally 5 to 10 they simply said ‘this is an estimated amount you may owe’. I left and called my insurance company who proceeded to tell me my copays are $ 5! I went back to this lab today to complete the ordered bloodwork. Again they said that it would be 75. No one could explain it except that it was like a temporary charge. Since I had already visited once and was ready to get the blood draw overwith, I went ahead. I gave them my Healthcare spending account card to deduct the money and that if there was an issue I would have my insurance company take it up with them. All this after I asked them to call the ‘provider number’ listed on my insurance card for verification. They stated ‘We can’t call them’. So, I did have the bloodwork. The staff was not friendly or remotely concerned about solving this issue. I may regret this but it’s done. I DONOTRECOMMENDTHISQUEST and will speak to my MD and insurance company about this. If anyone can give me a better explanation of why this is their procedure and attitude, I am interested in hearing more than ‘we cant’ and ‘this is how our system does it’.
