Great time as always! I hate bowling truthfully… and I am not that good at it either… one of the reasons I dislike it lol. But I go anyways to enjoy the company, and Soul seems to have fun! This particular time, there were no pimps or hoes, but there was a lot more of a crowd this time around esp compared to the previous UYE. I can say that we all still had fun though! I actually scored my first XXX Turkey for quite a while, so I was proud of myself for a minute there lol. But then the next game flopped for me, and I couldn’t close out any of the rounds. Mark me as Mr. Inconsistency: P Anyways, here’s to the next one! A few pics of the attendees:

I’m trying to recall what happened at tis UYE. Yeah, what Roger said! There were people(good to finally meet you, Chris R!). There were balls of different colors and sizes but I had to bring my own since I don’t like touching sweaty germy balls. I was paying attention to scores!!! Since I haven’t bowled in 2 years, my goal was simply to get at least 100 and not be the lowest scorer. Yay! I didn’t know Roger was such a beast… strike/spare every single time he releases the ball. Due to the alley being busy, we had 8 bowlers in one lane on the 1st game and put my short attention span to the test. By the 2nd game though, we were bowling at a much faster pace. Good company, good times as usual! TIP: Writing a review is much easier without a hangover.

On this day, getting a lane wasn’t easy. Since Independence Day was the next day, everybody had the same idea. To take advantage of the 1.50 games and the holiday. Since the place was packed, the guys at the front counter were limiting how lanes people can get. I wanted to get 3 lanes but since there were only 10 of us to start with, we can only get two. So on one lane, I put all the kiddies while on the other the adults held it down. Thanks goes out to Lindsey O, Chris R, Kevin B, Daniel S, Shawn H, and Cathy C for bowling a couple games. It didn’t matter what everybody’s score was, nobody really paid attention because we were all having too much fun conversating. Special shout outs go out to Tom F and Chuck C just for coming to hang out. This goes to show that just cuz you go to a UYE, it doesnt mean you have to participate in the activities. Sometimes just hanging out is all you need to do. In the end, no pimps or escorts showed up. Probably because they were putting in some work for the coming holiday. Everybody had fun, even the kiddies.

Nothing but good times are had at UYE’s. This one was no different… I was up in the air about coming this night, because I have friends in town for the week. They had a couple of things that they wanted to do, that I had absolutely no interest in, but I didn’t want to stay home either. So, I made the trek out to Red Rock; which is on the complete opposite side of town for me. I showed up right at 10 pm in time to bowl if I wanted to. But, I refrained, remembering how long playing a game took with this crew. So, I drank some beer and hung out getting to know everyone. It was an easy 5 stars…

I cannot forget the night that I was at my computer about to fall asleep. I started to dream of Unilocalers bowling over good times, some beer, and a pimp. This wasn’t a dream. This was live check-ins for Roger. T’s: Red Rock Bowling UYE Part 2. It was obvious that I should of attended this event. From this time forward, my dream would be to attend Red Rock Bowling UYE Part 3. As host Roger. T’s profile headline reads: «Don’t google it, Unilocal it.» He has hit all the pins with that one. Unilocal has developed into a real community where several members with shared interests written through reviews and tips share 5* good times at UYEs. These are events where friendships are developed and shyness changes into camaraderie. Now instead of googling it, I Unilocal it! When Roger. T’s: Red Rock Bowling Pimpin Ain’t Easy UYE3 appeared on the Unilocal events page I was in! Last night Roger. T hosted a two part event with part one being held at 8PM at the newly opened Frost Bites and part two being held at 10PM at Red Rock Bowl. After work a couple of beers were more appropriate for me than desert. I’d chill out at the bowling bar for an hour enjoying a couple Bud Light Drafts at the awesome price of $ 3.75 each. One by one the Unilocalers showed up at lanes 57 and 58. It was nice to meet Chris. R who is as cool as his live check-in comments, Chuck. W who is new to Unilocal, and Unilocaler’s families. It was nice to see the Unilocalers that I have shared UYEs with before. The bowling took second place to the camaraderie. As a matter of fact one Unilocaler drove across town to share good times with Unilocal friends instead of bowling. Nobody was really keeping score of the game. Regardless that half my throws landed off the lane, my spirit was in the right lane. Of course when people are having fun, time goes fast. After two games, it was 1 o” clock in the morning. There were no pimps at the bowling alley tonight. After the game, I was tired(from work) and passed over joining the majority of the Unilocalers for a late night dinner at the Grand Café(watch. now I find out that a pimp was at the next table throwing cash). Using the words of this UYE, «pimpin ain’t easy.» However when you«don’t google it, and Unilocal it» forming 5* friendships and memories is easy. The Daniel. S 2013 Unilocal 100 Challenge. Review 92.
