actually really liked this spot, especially when Lisa ran things as manager if it were still open, would give it 4 or 5 stars started here years ago with a groupon special and have been coming ever since I have to give it a crap review for closing though I understand its business, but they had the nerve to sell me prepaid services in sept, only to email me a month later saying they were closing on dec. 20th they didn’t even keep that promise, as it is now dec 5th and they have shut their doors filing dispute with my credit card that I was sold services fraudulently they had to have know they were not going to renew their lease in sept, so the services should not have been sold to me

I had such a wonderful massage at the Tivoli location. I purchased a groupon and you never know how that is going to go. The spa was quaint and lovely. It was very clean and my therapist did a great job, Sharon maybe?! I would recommend and visit again.

They charged me 40 $ for missing my appointment. I could not make it on-time bc of the rain and taxi never showed up. I did call them to try to make other arrangements. But, no. I was told, I would be charged 40 $ for missing the appointment.(If Über was legal here this never would have happened.) Anyways. How do they think I would consider going to this salon again when they don’t have compassion. I am super irritated bc I was really looking forward to checking out the salon and getting a hair-cut which I desperately needed! But, I don’t get hair-cut and pay 40 $. Things happen and people miss appointments. I would rather go to a place where they understand that.

I continuously get«great deals» emailed to me and was telling my husband that I’ve wanted to get one. My husband bought me a gift certificate so I could use one of these«great deals». You can never use a gift certificate on anything and their regular prices are super jacked up so they can give«great deals». It’s cheaper for me to buy a new deal(which I wont) rather then use his gift certificate. In my mind a true gift certificate(not a groupon) should be as good a cash. They don’t have a spa bathroom and its akward to be getting changed while salon people are going in and out. For the price– Ill go elsewhere.

I had a coupon from Travel Zoo for a hot stone massage, when I arrived I was told there was a cancellation for nail services and if I chose to receive a nail service it would be 50% off. SERVICES: Well I had the massage first. I cannot remember the woman’s name but she was fabulous. Not only was it a warm stone massage but also a warm stone placement. Her technique was wonderful and I truly enjoyed the treatment. I have absolutely no complaint about that service. Now to get to the point of why I left a 2-star rating is because of my nail service. I chose to get just a basic manicure because all I was looking for was to clean up my nails and cuticles. Well the girl(who I can’t remember her name) was very sweet, a little shy, but I think she is very new to nails. 1. She only pushed back my cuticles did not use the cuticle clipper to remove the excess cuticles or even take off my hang nails around the nails.

Purchased Groupon for Very Berry Facial. The salon overall was very accommodating. Facial was average. I left relaxed but had residue around my hairline from the products used. It looked like I had dandruff. I would give it another try, but for a different treatment.

Convenient. Great reviews on Unilocal.Sweet. So I went. I saw. I waited… … … & I conquered 3 hours later. Appointment at 10 a.m. I was 10 minutes early I waited 10 minutes after 10 a.m. and was finally met with a very nice lady as she walked me back to the area where they do nails but really is probably called the shampoo room because although this claims to be a hair and nail salon it was obvious that the focus was hair. There was only 2 mani and pedi stations with one lady and I believe no prior appointments as well being that I was there for 3 hours. I had a basic pedicure and all though she was thorough and it felt relaxing it was much longer then expected and I became restless. My manicure was gel and I had also had gel nail polish on there coming in which would have been wise to asses my nails then proceed to continue the producer needed to take it off while I was getting my feet done for 2 hours, that did not happen so as I sat to begin working on my nails there was a long portion spent on just taking off the gel nail polish. Over all results: White on toe nails looked yellowish and also was not dry by the time I left but the long relaxing message was nice. Left with happy hands. I did not make a future appointment. Very sweet, nice and attentive. Way to long for no added extras. Nice and clean salon. Seemed very overpriced for a salon that did not focus on nails. I don’t believe my mani and pedi were worth what I was charged for.

I bought a groupon for a hair cut and split end repair. It was an $ 85 value for $ 38. It’s a very nice salon with crystal chandiliers. I got there 15 minutes early and was called at my scheduled time. My stylist name was Megan. She was such a sweetheart and very friendly. She listened to what I wanted. My hair was very damaged. She took off all my damaged ends and made it just like I wanted. I’m very pleased. The only thing for me is the prices. The prices are a little high for me. Only reason I came was because of the groupon. But I do like this place and will be seeing Megan again next time. So I guess the groupon is a good thing on their end because they just got a new client :)

Extremely overpriced for services. I’ve gone several times due to convenient location and each time waited in excess of 20 minutes. It’s not a Dump by any means but not impressed with the overall quality for the prices they charge. My 8 year old was charged full price for a manicure that took 10 minutes when the same manicure on me took 35 minutes. Most recently, i booked an appointment and arrived 12 minutes late(it was my birthday/long story why I was a few minutes late) and they refused to take me. They have no problem keeping clients waiting anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes however when I show up 12 minutes late they refused to do the service on my birthday. I understand you want to keep things on time however please be consistent and drop the double standard. It’s not ok to make clients wait every time and not in return give the same grace period. Looking forward to the new beauty soon coming to Tivoli. For better prices and service try red rock resort and spa or lifetime spa! After reading the reply– I think it’s funny how they don’t keep accurate facts. I was never 5 to 7 minutes late on a visit. In fact they had the audacity to ask me to come in early last week by half hour and when I did so still kept me waiting. Why bother asking me to come in early only to have me wait. Their notes are inaccurate because they fail to come to the front desk to check people in because they are having lunch and talking to each other in the back. If I’m waiting 15 minutes because you are eating or talking in the back please don’t mark me late. This is why my experiences are so frustrating. You are on time and they still don’t update the records. This is my opinion and based on experience. I’m a CPA so I understand numbers and accuracy. I’ll trust my numbers anytime.

I purchased a Groupon for massage because as a massage therapist, paying for it when you can trade sucks. I didn’t have any friends available, groupon massage typically is average at best. As a massage therapist, the goal should be to meet the needs and comfort of the guest, most of the Groupon massage therapists are angry about the reduced commission so the massage lacks care and passion. This experience was one of the best I have ever had. My massage therapist was awesome and clearly loves was she does for a living. I think her name was Melanie. I was so relaxed afterwards that I forgot. :( I was 2 minutes late and the therapist cared so much about her work that she did the full time. I will be back! Excellent service and clean environment with lockers and a sitting room. Very nice.
