Buyer beware — If I could give this a zero stars I would. The manager/owner, Paco, sold us a new dishwasher that was out of the box. I told him I was weary of buying an open box model but he assured me that absolutely everything I needed for installation was included. I hired an installer who had to go to Home Depot to purchase some pieces that should have been included but were not which totaled an extra $ 12 and an additional hour of paid installer time. And when they were finished they also realized that the dishwasher clips which keep the dishwasher in place were not included either. I called Paco to discuss the fact that there were these missing items and that I ended up having to pay more money because of it and he lied to me. He told me that when I bought the dishwasher that he told me that if there were any missing pieces that I could come back and get them. That is absolutely not the truth. He assured me at the store that I would have everything that I needed. He told me that if I would’ve used his installer they would’ve had the appropriate parts with them and I wouldn’t have had to pay for them. He told me I could come back and he would give me the parts but it’s a 25 minute drive. I already paid for the other parts I had to buy and had to pay the installer an extra hour of time! He told me there was nothing he could do for me. And to be honest, I don’t want to ever see him again because he lied to me. So angry. I asked if I could speak with a manager and he told me that he is the manager and is the franchisee owner and all decisions are up to him. This place won’t be there much longer. You can’t run a business with an owner who lies to his customers.

We have a bad refrigerator from Sears. This was the third time in 4 months we have had to have someone come out to fix it. I can’t begin to tell you how much we have had to lay out in food spoilage. Sears has refused to replace the refrigerator, which by this time is clear Ly a lemon. Sears used to be a good company with reliable appliances. It used to be a name we could trust.

I was pleased with the selection of top loading washing machines without all the bells & whistles & didn’t cost that much. BUT, I didn’t appreciate the nickel & diming fees, like a delivery fee, a fee to remove the old washing machine, etc. If there was free delivery for spending a certain amount, we weren’t told. Plus, a 3 year maintenance for another $ 179, when the device itself was less than $ 500? Astronomical.

I was very impressed with this store. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and made to feel like long lost friends. We were shown different refrigerators and decided on one in particular, but felt that even at the sale price, it was still high. The sales manager, Elmer, went on the website and found the exact refrigerator, but for approximately $ 300 less than the sales price. He also informed us that Sears could haul away our old refrigerator, but if we contacted NV Energy, they would pick it up and give US $ 50. They are not pushy at that store. They seem exactly like it sounds, «HOMETOWN». Elmer helped us measure and we purchased on the spot. I can’t comment on the delivery as we put it out there for a few weeks from now. When they deliver, I will come back and review that. But as for the products and the customer service, it is exceptional.

If I could give this store 0 stars, I would THEWORSTCUSTOMERSERVICE I HAVEEVEREXPERIENCED. Bought a fridge and dishwasher. The dishwasher came(2 hours late), the fridge didn’t. Called the store and the fridge was backordered — but they didn’t think to call us(awesome customer service). They said they would reschedule the delivery. They call back and say they couldn’t reschedule the delivery date(makes no sense), so they refunded us and wanted to charge us again. We told them no that they didn’t have our permission to charge us again and I wasn’t giving my debit card number over the phone. We also wanted to wait for the credit to post before placing another couple thousand dollar charge on it. After 5 calls back and forth we were informed that if we did not come into the store that night to repurchase the fridge that we would not receive the sale price 2 days later — even though this whole mess was THEIRFAULT. I refuse to be bullied so we took a pass. The manager, Imran then called us — which he should have done in the first place instead of having one of his sales people be the go-between. In fact if she hadn’t refunded us, we would have never been in this mess to begin with. The manager said that he would wait a few days for us to come in and that he would waive the delivery fee and honor the sale price and also give us an additional $ 50 off. We thought about it for a few days and decided to give them another chance. We go in and their registers aren’t working. The salesman tells us about how they are doing us such a favor since the fridge is now full price. I walked over to the fridge and pointed at the big red sale sticker. He said that it was a mistake and took the sale price off. He waived the delivery — which there was no charge for to begin with! Then tells us that we can’t have the $ 50 off(he spoke to Imran on the phone while we were there), that we have to have the fridge delivered and come back with the receipt and get the $ 50 off. At least I get my fridge tonight … or so they say. I have a feeling pigs will fly before I ever get my $ 50 credit to my debit card. Absolute horrible customer service! Their response for everything is — We just opened. I don’t care if you just opened, learn how to run a business and treat your customers right. I contacted Sears via twitter 7 days ago and was told someone would call me. They left a message, I called right back, nothing — it’s been almost a week. You should all be embarrassed!
