Great prices. Was here for super bowl game and they gave out free burgers, hot dogs and chili. 5 stars.

This is a total dive bar, but I enjoy it here… $ 2 drink specials, food as low as $ 3, and a steak dinner for $ 9. The crowd is diverse, I really enjoy this bar for people watching. Hang put here long enough, and you will meet some characters… Two Tons of Fun DJs and sings on Wednesday and Saturday nights after 10, he’s fun and it seems to draw in more of a crowd, as do football games.

This is my neighborhood spot. Now, don’t come here expecting a 5 star, fancy, or upscale bar. This is an older, neighborhood bar. The customers here are usually the same people here. The more you come, the more you recognize people. And a nice mix of peeps… I have truly seen every race, color, and creed here, which I like. But let me tell you why I really like it here: 1. It’s very close to my house. $ 4 Über! 2. The drinks are cheap and full! They have specials like $ 2 Jell-O shots. And all kinds of specials during the games, such as 5 mix and match bottle for $ 15, $ 1 off premium shots like Patron, Jäger, Fireball… I get $ 2 Shock Top drafts. :P 3. They play football on the big screens and sometimes drop the projection screen! If your game is not on, just ask and they will usually change it to your game. 4. Cheap bar food that is pretty decent. They have a New York Steak dinner with salad, fries and roll for $ 9.50, tax included!!! I personally love the Hot Link with fries… it’s hot, yummy bar food for only $ 3!!! Again tax included. :P 5. They have a pool table for you pool-playing folks. And it’s free!!! 6. They have Karaōke on some nights, and I love the DJ/KJ Two Tons of Fun, when he’s playing. 7. Bartenders are friendly and attentive. 8. Drinks are cheap. Did I say that already? The only downfall I see, is it’s a Raider’s bar, but this Saints fan will overlook that. ;) Come check it out… and if I’m here, I’ll buy yah a beer! This bar is not for everyone, but it’s perfect for me. :)

After chilling in the Golden Tiki for a few hours looking at all the people with tattoos, orange hair, trendy beards, and youthful style… I rolled over to Shiftys to see a friend who bartends there. It was Saturday night around 11pm. The place was pretty full as it was«Two Tons of Fun» Kareoke and party time. The crowd here was definitely different. A mix of old guys gambling, young people, and everything in between. The vibe was divey and diverse. Drinks are cheap. I only stayed for one as my buzz from the alcohol laden Mango Java Punch was kicking in. Cool place. Lots of people ordering food so maybe the kitchen is good, will have to try it next time.

Cheap and good!!! They have food too! Ok so I’ve been by this place a million times. Always wanted to go in because it looked good. Outside it says drinks food and entertainment. Still wondering what the entertainment is. Inside its just your average hole in the wall bar. The bartender was an older blonde white lady. She was friendly when we walked in. We ordered a couple beers. Totally would have left after those but then some bikers walked in and we stayed and chatted. Had another round when the bartender would see us flag get down. Then my friend ordered the hot link and fries $ 3.25 tax included!!! So good and so cheap!!! We are going back on Friday.

Had a really good time here. Very chill, big beers, and solid mix drinks, $ 4 each. Really hard to complain about that! Nice service, decent food, wide variation in the type of people there. Very much come as you are. Saturday night the entertainment is Two Tons, he is fun and keeps the party moving. Really nice, calm spot– would return.

I’m a dive bar fan, and Shifty’s fits the bill. It’s a Raider bar on Sundays, so that’s mostly when I go in, but they have a great steak dinner during the week for $ 9.75. Very tasty, and a good deal. For you Raider fans, it’s a great spot to watch the game. They have plenty of TVs all around the place, some really good food specials(sandwiches, chicken wings, and chicken fingers for $ 6.00 each), and GREAT drink specials(buckets of 5 domestic beers for $ 12, and cinnamon whiskey shots for $ 3.00 apiece). And despite what the haters will always say about Raider fans… there are no thugs here. Lots of women were here…;-) While they show only Raider games there on Sundays, it’s not a spot with an «official» booster club there – and that can make a big difference. There’s no «booster club» to join, no «booster club fee» to pay,(nor are there raffles to win Raider gear) and as such, there are seats available right up to kickoff. In my experience around the valley in other bars that had booster clubs, if you weren’t in tight with the booster club officers, then there was NOWAY you were EVER going to find a place to sit down unless you showed up at least an hour or two before game time – and I’ll be damned if I’m going to pay some«booster club fee» and not have seats! Btw, for some of you that haven’t been there in awhile… they have come into the 21st century, and now accept debit /credit cards…;-)

The bartender on Monday and Tuesday swing is fun and entertaining. Always a good time. the pool table is always free and the band on Tuesdays is off the chain with no cover charge. Great steak too.

This place is fun, cheap, and has the best bar food I’ve had(in a bar). Now this place may not be for everyone, if your looking for an upscale place to buy $ 15drinks and is full of «pretty people» then this is not the place for you. If on the other hand you want a fun chill neighborhood bar that has awesome friendly service, plenty of TVs for game days, free pool, fun karaōke(a dollar a choice on the touch-tunes juke/Karoke machine, hosted Karaōke on Wednesdays) cheapest drinks I can find in town, with friendly customers that will actually talk to you and aren’t douche bags, and super yummy food… then this is the place. According to previous reviews, this is a cash only bar, not true, I use my card in there. Smokes are only 6 bucks in the cig machine. The food menus is limited but way cheap and exceptional. The cheese burger is only 4 bucks and is better then most burgers anywhere in town. The steak, don’t let the 8dollar price steer u away, it’s a better steak than you get at red lobster or sizzler for 3 times the price, Great cut and cooked to perfection. Fingers, wings, Cesar chicken salad and pizza is good too(3bucks after midnight for an entire pizza?! Score) haven’t tried the shrimp yet. and most drinks are only 3,4 or 5 bucks. Coldest beer in town complete with frozen mugs. Seems like lots of regulars in there but they’ve all been cool to me the few times I been there. If it was closer to my house I would most likely be a regular too if for the food and service alone.

Cool place to watch Raider games during the season! $ 10 dollar buckets of domestic abd $ 12 for imports. Loud and crazy bunch with a live DJ that plays old school west coast rap during the commercials and TD’s.

I don’t know man. My dude and I came in here for some drinks before our reservation over at Herbs & Rye and as soon as I walked in I had a bad vibe. I thought the bartender was friendly but the crowd was pretty shifty. A random guy came over and just started bragging about his job and the people he worked with. A woman from across the bar kept looking over at me, even after I gave her a good stare down. The best part was that 2 beers and 2 shots of Jameson came in under $ 10 – 15. I like my drinks cheap and this place did that for me, but I also like to be comfortable in my surroundings. Not sure if I’d come back.

We went here for some Karaōke on my husbands b-day. We love the dive bar scene so it was perfect for us. I should say right away that this is a CASHONLY bar! They have an ATM(fees are 2 or 3 dollars I think) and there’s convenience store in walking distance but the area is shady. So I suggest you bring cash in case the ATM is down! Karaōke started a little late but it was worth it. The DJ was fun and the crowd was good too. She let my husband sing and have a little more stage time than normal because it was his birthday. The crowd sang some awesome songs and everyone was super friendly! We felt like we had been going there for years. Drinks were cheap and the bartender was really nice! They have a small menu but everything on it is 5 bucks. One of my friends got chicken fingers and the other one got the steak. Both were amazing! Home made and yummy. They had a drink special(3 dollar tequila shots… gag!) and a round of drinks for 3 people was 13 bucks(everyone had a shot and a drink). Not too shabby if ya ask me. We would totally go here again, especially for Karaōke!

Went in here with my g/f for karaōke on a Friday night. There was a good crowd, and the bartender was super nice and attentive. Here’s an example of how cool the bartender was: When I arrived I ordered a couple of beers from their draft selection(which was pretty limited, but at $ 2 a glass I’m not going to complain). When I went to pay I was told the bar was cash only. «No problem, where’s the ATM?» the bartender points and says«Sorry man, it’s out of service right now. That’s my bad, this round is on me.» Totally unnecessary of him, and a lot of places I’ve been they would have been real dicks about it. I walked the couple hundred feet to a nearby convenience store, got some cash, and the rest of the evening was perfectly enjoyable.

This was Squiggy’s, but the just now got to changing the marquee out front. It didn’t appear to even have a name for months, just a blank space where Squiggy’s used to be. Blank Cocktail lounge? Changes are slow and gradual here. I did used to go here a lot wednesday nights for something that took shape and eventually became Goth Karaōke. Depending on who was hosting, Goth karaōke moves around town depending on what the situation is. Other than that, it’s just a hangout bar. They serve small pitchers of beer, which is really like ordering a super big gulp beer, you can drink it right out of the pitcher they give you. They have a couple of pool tables, ATM machine, video poker, a lot of stuff other neighborhood dive bars have. It’s next to be what used to be the(in)famous Venetian italian restaurant, that has undergone 2 business changes since. It sits there waiting for yet another tennant with no doubt an entirely different theme than the surf shack and Mexican restaurant themes that couldn’t last. This is a decent hangout place, but like most places, a lot of it depends on if your friends are there, or people that become friends. A lot of places are really what you make of it.

I *THINK* I’ve been here. I know I’ve done karaōke at a tiny little dive bar on Sahara, and I think this is the place, but I’m not 100% sure. I know my friends and I were looking for a place to do karaōke, and after hunting the web, I found this place(or some other bar). We checked out Squiggy’s(or some other bar) and there were about 15 people here, so we pretty much doubled the attendance. Karaōke host at Squiggy’s(or some other bar) wasn’t pretentious like some other karaōke hosts, and the bartender was pretty friendly. The clientle here(or some other bar) was a bit off, though.
