Solar Nails

I’ve been coming here over a year now. Nancy know how I like my pedicure to be done and I’m picky with it, so to find someone that know what she’s doing is awesome.

Very good pedicure, walk in was available for my Dad and I. Took care of all my needs and my feet feel brand new. Highly recommended

My mother in law and my wife go there every other tuesday. The owners are really nice. You can tell they enjoy your service and they want to be there, unlike other businesses.

I love this place! There was a management change and now the people that work there are amazing. They do take their time to make sure your nails are great. Nancy is my favorite nail technician Prices are affordable and nail polishes are good quality!

Felt rushed through my appt. My nails were not great. All the edges were roughy-​I had to file then when I got home. And I’m pretty sure their dryer doesn’t even blow. No Essie colors. Just opi and some other brands. The lady I had didn’t talk the entire time– not even to ask what shape I wanted or if it looked ok.
Even though I live around the corner I will not be back.
In addition to bad service the music, décor and ambiance is pretty bad.

$ 20 for a pedicure! I moved here in October and tried a few places first. This places is closest to my house. Both my boyfriend and I love it. No more than a 10 min wait after 5pm before 5pm I’m able to sit right down. Great job and pay attention to detail. I had a bad hang nail and guy was able to get it out without hurting me too much.

Worst nail salon ever. I believe I was given regular polish sold as «gel.» Within days the polish was peeling off. Criminal. I will say the man was VERY nice. He did my toes and offered me wine. My toe polish is still in tact. My hands were done by an unfriendly woman who clearly managed to give the poorest job possible.

They have not disappointed me. Any picture that I bring in the technicians are able to do. Very patient and relaxing.

Very poor customer service!!! Walked in and was not greeted but rather pointed in the direction of what booth to sit at. The woman literally sat down grabbed my hand and began filing away. The job was very rushed and needless to say the woman was beyond rude. I’ll never go back!

Called to find out about eyelashes and was told the person that does them is not in on Friday since its the weekend this I feel would be a good day for that service. I will have to go elsewhere since I need them for the weekend.

Great prices for great service! They stayed open past their closing time so we could get seen and the quality was top notch.

Went to Solar Nails the other night. I called and they took me in right away. They removed my old acrylics and put on a new set. They did such a fantastic job, they were professional and offered suggestions. I will definitely be returning!

Great service. Had a day with my Mom. Came in at 10am on a Sat. Had my pedi mani done. Gel nails look great. Totally recommend having a spa day here. Will be back again.

I come here once a month to get my nails done. While Friday evenings and Saturdays are impossible to get in on, I’ve never had to wait longer then 30 minutes.
It’s tucked away at the end of a strip mall, but such a great find!

Solar Nails is a new nail salon by the Green Valley Library. It is nicely painted inside; you can tell a little thought went into the interior design. There are only a couple of those cheesy French manicure posters up as opposed to the splatters of generic nail prints you find in other places. But my biggest praise for this particular is the cute little girl who does the most amazing nail art. I went in on my lunch break to get a quick pedi, and I usually just go to chill in a massage chair and get my feet bubbly. This was not the case however. I wish I knew her name, but she was the tiniest thing, and she decided to go all out on my toes. We decided on «The Thrill of Brazil» red, and then she asked if I wanted a flower. I never get flowers or anything like that, but she convinced me. I don’t know how, but she was a damn good salesman. So I thought I would get the typical dot-​dot-​daisy (you know what I mean, right?) but instead, I came out with a Georgia O’Keafe replica on my big toe. Ok, that’s a bit of an overstatement, but honestly, why is this girl doing nails? She could be painting the next Renoir! Anyway, I have finally found my pedicure palace, and my very own polish princess…
