I came here with a group of friends and because one of the friends parents is a local here in Vegas and we were staying at their place, they insisted to take us out for dinner. Local constantly get coupon in the mail for this casino. It’s located really far in the suburb. With coupon per person for dinner was less than $ 10. There are lots of choices but the food was pretty disgusting. You are better off having burger. Again this place is inside a casino meaning it’s smoky. But then this casino is not busy which also means plenty of parking spots. This place has lots of choices bit nothing really edible. Don’t recommend it.

The buffet at the Suncoast is a basic Vegas buffet. It wasn’t particularly crowded when we went which was nice. They have a decent selection but nothing special or that good. The service was better than average but the food was just average. The dessert selection was the best part of the food. I wouldn’t recommend it for dinner, but for kids and for the price it was okay.

The only buffet option within the Suncoast Hotel. The dinner is reasonably priced if you’re not particularly looking for something. Saturday night is prime rib and shrimp scampi. Not the greatest but not the worst either. The other stations are so so. If you have a comp then this would be four stars. If you had to pay, it’s more of a two and a half but the service that you’ll receive rounds it up to three stars and I feel that’s fair. The plates are cleared the moment you’re finished and the drinks are topped off. The dining area is comfortable. The seats and booths are well placed. The only thing that I didn’t like we’re the extendable dining tables as they were a bit wobbly and silverware kept falling. The desserts were decent but not many options to choose from. The ice cream wasn’t dryers which I prefer and the consistency wasn’t right. It’s probably their settings. I still finished it though. At the end of the day, what it came down to was I came in hungry and left full. I didn’t feel like I had to stuff my face with everything to justify the cost of free and I left happy just in time to catch my free movie at the theater. I’ll probably be back here again. Thanks!

With all the bad Unilocal reviews we were not expecting much but for lunch and at $ 7.99 this buffet was okay. This is a small buffet with an american, mongolian, chinese, mexican, italian and a seafood stations. The service was good with our drinks being refilled and dishes removed quickly. This is not a fancy Las Vegas strip buffet but it was okay and what you should expect for the price.

Yesterday was our 2nd time in 12 yrs. at Suncoast Buffet, the 1st being for breakfast(the meal nobody can mess up) & went because someone gave us their free coupons. It was 5:00 and we figured at this hour everything would be fresh and hot. Wrong assumption! On every section(Chinese, Mongolian hotpot, Italian, BBQ) the food was lukewarm. The hot & sour soup wasn’t even that. I won’t itemize each item I sampled, but I found nothing to be palatable. Their salad bar doesn’t look fresh, has very few items, & appears like Las Vegas in the fifties. The Chinese section is pitiful, with overcooked veggies, dried up noodles & a poor selection. The Italian is not your grandma’s kitchen… thick, over-cheesed pizza, a mushy lasagna, a very boring pesto over cold bowtie pasta. The BBQ section was serving up steak, dark turkey meat & one more item. I tried the turkey, but didn’t have a second bite. There is ONE kind of bread which had garlic on it, was cold & hard from sitting too long. The Mongolian section I skipped because there were only«cheap» choices, like tiny cuts of carrots, bean sprouts, onions, green peppers, & the«meat» of chicken, shrimp & pork was in the back so you couldn’t see it until they cooked everything. Desserts? My partner tried 3 of them & said they were tasteless & the cover-up was too much whipped cream. I spoke to the manager about the total lack of hot food & she said she’d call the chef who finally emerged to tell me all the burners are on hot, there is no problem whatsoever; that she couldn’t believe I found all that food to be lukewarm. We left in frustration and chose to never return. With all of the buffet competition in this town, how can Suncoast/Summerlin serve up such an inferior buffet? And to imply that we don’t know how to tell if food is hot or cold is a real insult.

I live in Las Vegas and have been to numerous buffets but this was my first trip to Suncoast for their buffet(and my last). I had a buy one get one free coupon but realized it doesn’t start until August 1, but decided to give it a try for a locals $ 8.88 deal. I brought my mother and 15 year old niece with me. Cashier charges us $ 8.88 for me and my mom and my niece was charged $ 13.99 because there is no discount for anyone under 21. So $ 34 for 3 of us, not bad, or so I thought. My first impression when I walked up to the small buffet area was oh no this whole buffet looks awful. We tried pizza which was horrible and had a very funny taste that I can’t even pinpoint. I also tried pesto pasta and took 2 bites and left that on the plate. Dried almost to the point of been rock hard. The taste was horrible and the oil was just seeping from the pasta. Plate 3, I figured I could have salad. The salad area was very small but was the only fresh food item in the whole buffet. I have romaine lettuce was crisp and I topped with small carrots and onion. The ranch dressing was thin and watery but edible. These 3 items are the only ones I tried as everything else looked absolutely disgusting. My mom tried to eat a pork chop but could not because if was so hard you could t even cut it. My recommendation is to never eat here. Seriously the worst food I have ever saw or sampled. I would never eat here again even if it was free. We almost got up 5 minutes after we ate and left but have decided the salad would hold us over until we ate later. Worst food and buffet I have ever gone to. Ugh

OK this place takes disgusting to a new level! It looks nice for a cheap buffet but the food was so disgusting I could not even find one thing to eat. Everything in this place tasted like it was hospital food at a geriatric ward everything sitting on the steamtables was old and had been sitting there all day. For about the same price as one of the stations casinos buffets take the drive and go over there. I can always find one thing to eat at a buffet but this place there was literally nothing just gross. I wouldn’t feed that garbage to a starving dog! However if you’re stuck at the Suncoast like I was go to the coffee shop it’s a little better.

The buffet is $ 18.99 seafood/card. There’s not much of a selection for seafood. I saw one of the workers replace a ladle submerged in the drawn butter but did not replace the whole bin. I guess he didn’t learn or care about contamination.

I agree with many other Unilocalers regarding the service. In my opinion this is the very worst buffet in terms of food quality. Usually the carving station is the center piece of any buffet, I felt this was the area that needs the greatest improvement. The quality of the meats was very poor.

We came here for Father’s Day. After paying with tax and tip for four of us(discounted), it was $ 85. I hate to say that compared to other buffets I have eaten at my whole life growing up in Vegas, this one rates the worst(at least in memory). The food didn’t even look appealing and was a little dried out due to heat lamps. After the«meal», I tried a piece of lemon meringue pie and after stripping off the leathery meringue, it was manageable. This was typical of the meal. The only saving grace was the wait staff who were very attentive with plate clearing and drink filling. When popping open Unilocal and pulling this restaurant up, the two stars I saw was no shock but well deserved.

Buffet is located in the Suncoast, one of the Boyd Gaming oxygen-tank casinos. We came on a Saturday 1 ½ hours before closing, the place was empty. The crab legs, pizza, desserts, beverages and service were acceptable, so was the sparse salad bar(the only topping available for your lettuce was kidney beans). Everything else(minimal selection) was inedible. The heat lamp didn’t impart any heat to the prime rib, which was lukewarm and awful. I don’t think an honest health inspector in possession of a thermometer would have passed it. They had something called«Beef Stomach» which was some slimy substance slathered with pepper and chili so that that was all you could taste, thank heaven for small favors. Even the mashed potatoes and canned gravy, I couldn’t eat. We wound up leaving and going to eat somewhere else.

The St. Tropez«international«buffet(lol) For breakfast good omelets, bagels, and pastries and some items hit or miss. I eat breakfast here mainly because it is not bad, I am sure all the staff cares about is getting this swill out and ready before the morning senior line forms outside the ropes. I got there a couple of mornings right at opening no one had been to the salad bar, yet the lettuce was brown, the spinach was wilted and the leaves were strewn outside the bowl WTF ? DO not go here for lunch or dinner especially if you actually are paying for it. A medley of low quality food prepared with no care involved and apparently someone’s job who supervises this approves again WTF ! As a side note dont waste your time at the café Siena it is just as bad !

Ok, stopped here twice. Once for lunch, once for breakfast. Lunch on Saturday — The signs all over the casino advertised an $ 8.99 buffet. So I walked up and figured I’d try it. First problem — It’s only $ 8.99 if you’re a member of the«Connect Players Club», the free in-house gambling loyalty program. If I wanted the $ 8.99 price I would have to wander off somewhere else in the Casino over to member services or something and sign up for the free loyalty program. I wasn’t about to go figure that out(we were staying here on a rock climbing trip — not a gambling trip). So I paid full price, which was almost $ 15. For the price, the buffet wasn’t that great. Decent amount of choices for lunch type foods. But it was basically just the same as Old Country Buffet. This was not one of those fabled amazing cheap, amazing tasting Vegas buffets of mystery and legend. On the other hand, everything was rotated in and out quickly so it was always fresh. Everything I tried(Pizza, Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Veggies, Baked Chicken) was all pretty good. The soda and drinks are not self serve, but the waitress was very quick and friendly and kept us topped up. Overall for lunch I would have given three stars. Now on Sunday, I’m subtracting a star. Again there were signs all over for a breakfast buffet. $ 8.99. This time I noticed the asterisk. I figured that was the loyalty card price. Three of us went downstairs anyway, expecting to pay a little more than that since we didn’t have the cards, but not much more. I mean it was breakfast after all. So we get down there and are informed that because it’s Sunday, there is no breakfast buffet. It’s «Champions Brunch» and it’s $ 24.99. Yikes. No way. Based on the food we already tried, there wasn’t anything at all that could be good enough to be worth that. We went to Subway instead and were perfectly happy with breakfast sandwiches.

The buffet’s closes at eight and the food supposedly stays out till 8:30PM but by 8 o’clock it’s pretty slim pickings. The food is reasonable what’s left that late at night not sure what it’s like earlier in the day. They should just close earlier if they want to get the food out of there earlier but then probably the same thing would happen? I wish I had a buy one get one free coupon. It would’ve made it a little better. We had a go through seventh place to find one that didn’t have dry food on it.

It’s not intended to be the high end buffet you would find at a 5 star hotel on the strip. I came here for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. Best part was the price. $ 8 if you have a players card(it takes 5 minutes to sign up for free). $ 11 without the players card. Breakfast service is a full buffet with everything you would expect, including a omelet station and honey ham caring station. Things you might not expect are a taco bar, complete with sour cream and fresh guacamole; various types of pizza; a salad bar; and a desert station with cheesecakes, cobblers, etc. bright and early. But how does it all taste? Drum roll… okay at best. Finally, the staff here are really friendly. I definitely suggest you eat here for value if you stay at Suncoast Hotel & Casino. I would never drive out of my way to eat here.

In case you really weren’t sure if the 2.5 star average this place has is accurate, I’m here to tell ya, it is. Actually it should be less than that, but there are a few good reviews from 2010. Almost 5 years ago now so it’s best to just ignore those and go with the most recent reviews that say this place SUCKS! I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Let me say that I read the reviews before hand, and I just knew I would regret eating here. I was not wrong. My 85 year old grandfather, who I only get to see once a year, is staying at the Sun Coast hotel, and that is the ONLY reason why we came to eat here. The other reviews for this place are on point. Bad, inedible, cold, under/over cooked canned slop. Nothing looked appetizing or edible. My first plate consisted of pizza, and a few pieces of sausage and peppers. The pizza was ok, although I had to drown it in Ranch dressing to taste good. The sausage was warm, not hot, and under cooked, as well as the peppers that were almost raw. I tried the prime rib and that was at least edible, with lots of au jus and horseradish. Desserts were a hit or miss. They had ice cream, a small assortment of cakes and pies, and some sorry dried out bread pudding. So here I am at 240am after being sick in the bathroom for a half hour and that’s why I am writing this review. Do yourself a favor. Stay away from this buffet! Do not go, even if it’s free. This is definitely up there with some of the worst buffets in town.

Mehhhh… really regret eating the food at this buffet. Thank god it was free because my boyfriend’s dad is a emerald member. We can on a Friday causes that when they offer crab legs. We sat down quickly and went straight for the crab legs. Hmm come to find out, they don’t offer crab legs for the month of October! So I tried the shrimp and they didn’t taste good at all. They were soft and falling apart. I also tried the prime rib and it was dry and tough. The Mongolian site fry was way too salty! I honestly wouldn’t eat here again even if it was free.

I’d give it a zero if I could, one of the worst buffets I’ve ever gone to in Las Vegas or anywhere for that matter. You expect lines for a good buffet, but not for the really bad ones. It took 30 minutes to get to the cashier, not so much because there were a lot of people, no. It was due to the comical incompetence of the staff. Four registers and only one working with 7 employees manning the one! Despite there being cashiers and hosts and a manager no one seemed to have ever seen the coupons that all these places have for locals every week, or the comp slips that loyal gamblers get from the casino. Literally every single customer seemed like the end of the world as these people had no idea what to do with the coupons or how to process them. Meanwhile, a host and a manager are getting into a yelling fight in front of everyone when they could have moved the shouting match 4 feet and out of sight of the rest of us. Now the food: Skip it, just go eat somewhere else. I did find the mongolian grill okay but the chef there was rude and testy with the other staff and the customers. The rest of the food was generally tasteless and gassy. We left feeling bloated and ripped off, and spent far too much time in the restroom the rest of the night! The Italian section had moderately okay thin crust pizza.

We came here on a Tuesday for their lunch buffet. With a B-Connected card, a Buffet is 8.99. We used the Casino Guide Bogo and paid $ 10.72. — I’d opt for the Feast Buffet at a Station Casino. Similar lunch price but Feast has a better selection and tastier quality. — Items you can’t go wrong with: beef tacos, fried chicken — The Chinese food selection wasn’t appetizing at all. Panda can do a better job. — I don’t recommend getting soups here. Broken noodles. Messy. — fast service with drink refills. — Pistachio ice cream was good. The donuts were a bit hard. — Even with a coupon, I wouldn’t give this place another try.

We went for free lunch buffet using a coupon from Bingo. They were located in the Suncoast Casino on Alta Dr in Las Vegas. There were 6 international stations: Mongolian, Seafood, Chinese, BBQ American, Mexican, and Italian. There were 2 salad/fruit stations and a dessert station. The fresh fruit was good. I wouldn’t pay for the meal and probably won’t be back.
