StorageOne

A month ago, I made my cross country move from NC to North Las Vegas in my U-​Haul truck. StorageOne was my closest U-​Haul truck drop off location. I just want to say how glad I am that my truck drop off location happens to be a self-​storage facility. Mid-​way to NV, I received a phone call from my property manager that my rental home was NOT ready to be moved into and that it would not be ready for another week. Long story short, I called StorageOne in panic mode and immediately Charles helped me. Not only did he reserve a storage unit that’s PERFECT for my truck load of stuff, but he also helped me find a few hotels nearby. When I arrived with my U-​Haul truck, Charles and Carolann greeted me with big smiles and hospitality. They really did go above and beyond; I cannot thank them enough.
Today is my move out day and I just want thank Charles and Carolann for their kindness and their helpfulness with my transition to North Las Vegas! I would recommend this location to any and every one! They are simply the best!
Side Note — StorageOne@Lone Mountain is gorgeous! I have always been weary of storage facilities because they always look run down (at least the ones in NC), but this place is clean and beautiful (inside and out)!

Is anyone ever excited about using a storage facility? I don’t think so. You pay money to keep the stuff you already paid for. So it turns into a decision as to how much is your stuff worth. When I was suddenly offered a great job nearly 1000 miles away I had to ask myself how much is my stuff worth. I made several trips to different storage companies but decided on Storage One. This location is easy to get to, clean, and reasonably priced.

We have rented a unit for just over 7 months. After the first month, we noticed the weather stripping was old and brittle and need to be replaced. Our stuff was totally covered in dirt.
I informed the office and they said someone would call us in the following 2 weeks. After a month past, I stopped by the office to enquire about our door getting fixed. I was informed, «I have your complaint in the system and they should call you.»
I let it go another few weeks (or more) and still heard nothing. To make a long review short (er), after being blown off once by the door repair guy and having to threaten to take my business elsewhere (I hate doing that by the way), the door for fixed on the 17^th of June… 6 months later.
To be fair, the district manager have us a month of free rent but that was only after her arguing that we were «only technically paying for the space… Not the door.»
If that’s not the worst customer service you’ve ever heard of…
At any rate, I will not be using a Storage One unit again. They don’t really care about the people they serve.
