Real great and fun. $ 5 Mai tai happy hour and $ 1 off other drinks. There’s also tab food(spring roll, chicken and dumplings). Great interior, fun vibe. LOVESIT Came back for the dole float and it was SOGOOD! This is now a go to whenever I come to Vegas. Get their drinks with dole whip in it. Best thing ever.

Damn fine drinkery located off the strip in Chinatown. Probably my favorite tiki bar. Excellent ambiance, they play great tunes, suburb service, and damn good drinks. I recommend starting with a Painkiller. Too bad this place isn’t in my hometown. I will make sure to revisit upon my next trip to Vegas!

Jamal was our bartender, cool and laid back which matches the environment. Don’t let the laid back tone of the bar stop you because they make amazing cocktails. If you thought the strip was all Vegas had to offer think again because this spot is more than worth the 5 min drive or taxi from the strip. Big group or small group the have accommodations and personality unparalleled.

In the tiki bar scene in Vegas, there’s Frankie’s, but Golden Tiki certainly has made a name for themselves. I don’t quite remember what used to be here before but I’m glad this took over. It’s a spacious layout, with a few private booths spread out, the main bar and a back room area that you can choose to use for a private party if necessary. The drinks are hit or miss in my opinion. My two favorites are the painkiller or the man tais. Im not sure how often they do it but i know i came her mid day and they had like wings or appetizers as finger foods which i thought was super dope. The service here can be a little spotty at times though which is probably my only major gripe with this place. Overall its a good enjoyable bar with great atmosphere and a pretty memorable pearl/seashell chair that has become semi iconic and a pretty mean dole whip, which I wish was more readily available in Vegas

Cool concept, and the dole whip tastes as good as Disneyland. I’m a dole whip fanatic, so this place is awesome-tons of alcoholic dole whip cocktails, cool dark venue, and ample bar, seating, and music. I got the dole whip with rum, and surprisingly, I actually didn’t like the rum with the dole whip. I would come back, but I’d just get plain dole whip($ 6) instead of dole whip with rum($ 11) However this is personal taste, and all my friends loved their dole whip and rum. They do lots of other fun cocktails for around $ 11/$ 12 that I’ll try next time. One weird thing, I don’t remember getting a receipt with our drinks. The waitress just told us our sum word of mouth? That’s weird. I guess pirates don’t give paper receipts?

Eclectic. Refreshing. Everything Wanted, didn’t know Needed. Great Tiki cocktails off the strip and away from the madness. Open 24 hours to meet that 3AM craving. Perfectly made classic cocktails(Scorpion Bowl, Zombie) along with a Dole Whip float to snack on(for the table). Great for big groups. Will come back!

On a recent business trip to Vegas, I was told I had to try the Golden Tiki! A few friends and I drove over and it must have been early because it was not busy at all. Granted this place is open 24⁄7 but we must have been early! We found a table by the wall and a nice server came up to greet us. She explained the menu and told us what was no longer available(yet still on the menu). I of course needed to get the souvenir glass which costs more money but hey… I don’t get here often and I do collect tiki glasses! The drinks took awhile to be made even with it not being busy but they did taste good. I have absolutely no memory of what I ordered but i know I liked it. Lots of ice… not a lot of booze. We only stayed for one round and decided to move on to another place. Our bill was not cheap but I noticed that my glass was less money than noted on the menu… oh well. The décor is strange. It looks like a mixture of many things that were found over the years and they decided it would work in the bar. Some things don’t make sense but I am a decorator by trade and some of it threw my off. I have been in tiki bars that are themed much better. Atmosphere = 7 Service = 8 Booze = 7 Its a tourist trap but most things in Vegas are. We had a fun time and had okay drinks. If you need a tiki bar, try it out but don’t expect the best one you have ever been in.

The first time I came here I had a great experience. The service was fast and the drinks were amazing. This time around the service was extremely slow. We had to wait over 25 minutes to see our waitress again so we could ask for the check. It seemed like she was avoiding our table. I ended up going to find her to ask for the bill because I couldn’t wait any longer. She ended up taking care of our drinks for the wait. I did really appreciate her doing that but I would have preferred to get my check faster and just paid for the 3 drinks. Maybe we will get better service the next time we’re here.

Just finished my first visit to the Golden during their HH; what an awesome experience! Fast friendly service, and the bartender(Brian) made some seriously delicious cocktails. We ordered a couple rounds of Mai Tai and a round of Banana Batida; all the drinks were very tasty and well balanced. This place has really cool decors, and I especially like the black & white video clips played on the screens which further enhanced to the overall atmosphere. A must go-to place for Tiki bars goers; I will definitely make a trip back to the Golden next time I am in Vegas.

What an awesome unique place! The Golden Tiki is the most interesting bar in Las Vegas right now in my opinion. It is a Chinatown hidden gem. Located just down the road from The Venetian and in the same plaza as the other Hot & Juicy crawfish joint, this is great for tiki lovers. We decided to come here today for some drinks. The décor is exotic, each seating area is decorated differently. They have interesting menu. About 15 cocktails make up the menu, including original concoctions and tiki classics like mai tais, plus craft beers, tea service and Dole whips. We had the Banana Batida which was stupendous and my boyfriend had the Painkiller. The treasure chest is $ 499,$ 35 scorpion bowls, etc. You can buy the souvenir mugs with your drink for $ 29(with the drink!). Also you can order barrel-aged rums aged with Carpano Antica, marashino liqueur and bitters for $ 12. There is the Martinique Ti service prepared table side and escorted to your table on a cart for a $ 30 minimum. The drinks were brought over to our table on time. The bartender was nice. I love this place, I will come back for parties, attend their event nights and also come with my visitors from put of town.

Went around 6pm and it wasn’t too busy, I’d recommend getting there earlier in the night to snag good seats. I had the banana batida which is probably my favourite drink, it was refreshing and fruity. The dole pineapple whip and the coconut cream made me feel like I was beachside! My friends and I also got the scorpion bowl, which was more than enough alcohol, almost too much. It was great! The bartenders were very friendly and the servers were always around to make sure we were doing well. Definitely will be back to try out the rest of the drinks!

Always an amazing time here! So much fun with the best music playing! If you’re into 60’s themed/rockabilly type of bar, come here! The drinks are fun and they have a TON of specialty drinks. I don’t even remember what I’ve already tried but there was a lot. Always strong, so I don’t remember much at the end of the night. Hah. The bar’s great. Like you’re out in the sea and maybe stranded on an island. I love the theme! You’ll even see Wilson at the bar staring at you. There’s also a tiki head that you can catch singing with the music sometimes. In the back there’s a clam where you can take a picture, an area where the DJ sets his equipment/bands play, and all the way in the back further in is a darker and more open space sitting area with a skeleton of a pirate. More intimate area too? Maybe. I’ve seen a lot of making out back there. Ehh! Other than all that, its a bar. It’s fun, has bar prices and its in Chinatown. So, beware of weekend parking. Gets packed!

I love The Golden Tiki! This is such a fun spot with a nice ambiance and it’s fun tiki theme. THEGOLDENTIKI is the perfect cocktail bar /lounge to get some drinks flowing and enjoy the evening right in CHINATOWN! The bartenders are good, tons of cute décor to look at, and plenty of seating along with great music. I highly recommend ***The Painkiller Drink*** which has Porter’s Rum, fresh OJ, Coconut Cream, and Dole Pineapple Whip topped with nutmeg!!~ Overall, «The Golden Tiki» is a must see and a good change up from your typical bars located on the Strip and Downtown. come to Chinatown and enjoy.~ =]

I came here last night for the first time for a going away and had such a strange experience. I ordered a vodka soda and got a Sprite and soda. She then apologized and got me a new drink. Later in the evening someone else at my table ordered just a club soda with a lime and the server said«Are you ok?» And she said«yes why?»! The server went on to say«I’ve never had anyone order just soda water that aggressively». Not to mention. She wasn’t aggressive at all. We then had another friend join us and she had to wait 40 minutes for a drink. It was absurd. To finish it off, the one drink I did order off the menu was the painkiller and it was a lot of ice. I left after my 3 drinks not feeling like I had drank 3 drinks. I think this place would have a good thing going if the wait times weren’t long, the staff wasn’t rude and inattentive, and the drinks weren’t all ice. Go to Frankie’s Tiki Lounge instead!

The old fashioned charm of a classic Tiki bar was really a lost art in Las Vegas. Tourists and even locals would google or Unilocal Tiki Bars and be sent to that ho-hum dive on Charleston. Finally, some people got it right, and I am here today to proudly and strongly recommend The Golden Tiki for a true vintage Hawaiian experience(but with modern day prices ;) This venue has been on our punch list for a while and admittedly, one of the reasons we tended to avoid it was its location in the heart of Chinatown in a very Asian dominated strip mall. A bit hard to find since it blends in so well with its neighbors, once you enter, though, you are truly transported into a different era. A true Tiki bar that appeared to spare no expense, Jurassic Park style. Everything from the kitschy table covers with vintage Hawaiian postcards to the modern seafaring art that is made to look vintage and covering the walls above each booth. This bar goes well above and beyond to bring the experience to you however you want it. Whether it be an intimate booth for two with drapery and mood lighting to casual two tops adjacent to the bar, to the bar itself, offering video poker and lively bartenders and even a DJ, with select nights offering live music. The venue is surprisingly large, with an entire separate room behind the bar and a cleverly disguised ceiling that is covered in stars and is reminiscent of the Peter Pan ride at Disneyland. The aesthetics are quite impressive as is the menu. Though they do not appear to have a kitchen, their drink menu is expansive and has a variety of tropical libations to satisfy even the most haole of wannabe Hawaiians. I will say that their prices are definitely Strip sized. To take a Tiki glass home, you are looking to fork out about $ 29 for your drink. Though I considered it, I opted to just stick to a regular glass as well as a DOLEWHIP! You read that right, authentic Dole Whips are offered here. For a straight up whip, it’ll run you $ 6. For a few dollars more, you can get one with alcohol. I had a plain Jane Dole Whip and it was fabulous. Humorously garnished with an umbrella and a little plastic mermaid, it brought a smile to my face. The Golden Tiki is a modern day institution. Despite only being around about a year or so, it has the classic, comfortable vibe of a bar that has existed for decades. The staff was super friendly and smoking is allowed everywhere, something I consider to be a major plus. It is probably the only bar in China Town with no Asians in it(except me when I’m there), and despite some rather hefty prices, I look forward to becoming a regular in this nostalgic and welcoming little watering hole on Spring Mountain. I simply could not recommend it any more highly. Cheers!

In the heart of Chinatown lies a Tiki bar with a clam shell big enough to take a selfie in! Valet is super handy. The parking lot can be a total hot mess in a rather extreme way. Utilize it, I warned you. Dole whip on tap… yes you can get cocktails with the DW madness floating inside of it. DW is vegan and that chemical mess goes perfect with the sin of a spirit. Is it your birthday? Congrats you get a free tiki drink and a free Dole Whip! Shows…always a good time. Mermaids who breathe fire, fun bands, surf music. Wild promotions like the upcoming hour of free green PBR for St. Patty’s day(8−9pm I believe). In this place you will find most nights packed and they are getting better with staffing the place properly. Don’t come here in a rush and prepare to pay strip like prices for fancy drinks(this is not Frankie’s people!) You will find a mix of locals and tourists here. Relax, kick back, in a private table or enjoy the gaming up at the bar. Open 24⁄7 it has something to tickle everyone’s fancy.

Great cocktails with full Tiki hardware like paper umbrellas, Golden Tiki stir sticks, and plastic monkies and mermaids hanging from the rim of your glass. The décor of the Golden Tiki is perfect and Co sister through out. I love all of the vintage black and white photos under the glass of the tables as well as the black velvet paintings. Live entertainment such as Dj’s and bands during the weekends. The calm shell booth and pirate ship also add to the tiki atmosphere. Staff at the golden tiki are friendly and are willing to make recommendations to help you make your cocktail choice. They have a decent beer selection in both bottles and draft. I can’t wait to go back to the Golden Tiki.

If you like the Tiki room at Disney then you’d enjoy this place, ambience reminds me of it and they have alcohol and gaming!(main purpose of my visit). You walk in and the first thing you hear is the«YOHOYOHO A PIRATESLIFEFORME!» through their entrance speaker. The place has tiki décor and memorabilia all over the place, down to the clam lounge chair and Polynesian masks on the walls. The drinks taste great, be forewarned they sneak up on you, especially the pain killer. My favorite is thier Mai Tai, although they do have a huge selection on their menu. The place has really dim lighting which I prefer when getting away from the hot bright sun we have in this town. There’s a private VIP area in the back for private functions and plenty of booth seating and bar space. They have dole whips! YES the same ones they give you @ Disney for a price of course but totally worth it. The ONLY drawback is there’s no TV’s, so if you want to watch the Rebel game that’s a no go, it would definitely be a plus, even if it was muted, people like there sports, and I much rather watch it here than a PT’S up the street. Prices are very reasonable on the drinks and they have cool garnishes, from flowers, lil pirate flags and mermaids hanging off your glass. Overall definitely be coming back, much better than Little Macau that used to be here, if it wasn’t for the TV situation I’d give it 5 stars, it would go along with alcohol and gaming. If your not into the fufu drinks defenitly pay a visit for the dole whips!

Yo ho, yo ho!!! Argh Matey! What an awesome bar with such a great and«authentic» theme! Can’t beat the location as its off Spring Mountain and Valley View. Seriously don’t believe this place used to be Little Macau! They totally transformed this spot with great seating whether you chose to sit at the bar or at one of the table tops or even party booths! Wait, let me not forget the clam shell you can sit in! The ceiling is all lit up like the beds at Disneyland!!! Great job Golden Tiki!!! The hubs and I decided to swing by after work on a Saturday afternoon just in time for their happy hour. Love that they offer happy hour pricing on the weekend. It’s nothing crazy but still, $ 1 off any drink. The cocktails on the menu go hand in hand with the bars tiki theme. We both opted for the Painkiller and are quite pleased we did. It was refreshing and yummy! I love that it’s served over crushed ice. Regular«high end» cocktails are a very reasonable at $ 7. The menu cocktails are a bit pricey coming in at $ 11 a pop. Considering how everything is fresh, it is worth it! The service was top notch. We arrived at what may have been a shift change but it didn’t seem to be an issue. We were asked what we wanted but asked to be given a few so we could read about all the cool cocktails. The bartender eventually came back and in no time we had our drinks. He was apologetic about the wait but really we asked him to come back later so it’s all good, bro! Another bartender came in named Dillon. He was way cool and friendly too. We enjoyed the convo with both guys. We heard it can get really busy at night so I’m pleased we went when it was slow. Love that they have TV’s to keep up on the scores. They even have video poker! Let us not forget the all mighty DOLEWHIP! Yes, they have them here and it tasted so so so good! If you are lucky one of the cool bartenders will give you a sample. I’d come back and order just this! Makes me feel like I don’t need to go to Disney for our annual pilgrimage! All in all this place is great! Yeah, I like Frank’s tiki bar but I don’t like walking out smelling like an ask tray! This bar is going to give Frank’s a run for its money. It’s clean and not dingy like Frank’s. We will be back, soon! Came back today, 5 months later and still LOVE this bar! Had my awesome Pain Killer and a Mai Tai! Amazballs!!! And to top it off today they had Bob Marley on loop… love love love me some rasta! Wish I didn’t have to go back to stupid work! Totally gets in the way of life! Jessica served us today and was truly great. She was incredibly friendly and made perfect cocktails! I am a little sad that the TV’s are gone! I liked the idea that I could come watch«my game» and enjoy the tiki vibe! Will be back this weekend foshizzle!

Dole whip + rum = $ 11 Swirl it around in the glass and make yourself a fluffy alcohol-laden float. It’s fantastic! Though I’m a little wary of tiki bars that don’t have chi chi’s on the menu, The Golden Tiki is pretty island-tastic. Less smoky and depressing than Frankie’s(but I still love the place!) but not quite a La Mariana either. Still, it’s a pretty good take on tiki. As we were leaving, the bartender let us know that there’s a buffet, oh boy, I’d come back for that in a heartbeat. And another rum Dole whip float.
