U-Haul

This store is staffed either by incompetents or people who don’t care about their customers’ safety. I was making a long move involving driving for several days and needed to rent a dolly to pull my car. The sales girl presented me with two options: a two-​wheeled one and a four-​wheeled one. I asked what the difference was and was told, aside from price, it was only a matter if I wanted my car’s rear wheels turning on the drive. That didn’t matter to me so I went with the less expensive option.
As it turned out, there is a minor difference between the dollies. You can’t back up with the two-​wheeler. Did I say «minor»? Sorry. No, that’s a pretty major effin’ difference. That fact had me stuck in a restaurant parking lot in Gallup for hours and cost me $ 100 to have a tow-​truck driver come out, diagnose the problem, hitch the car and then hitch it back up.
(Why did it cost me $ 100 when I had paid for full coverage and roadside assistance, you ask? Because the rude U-​Haul woman at their call center was quick to tell me that dolly doesn’t go backwards. When I told her that U-​Haul never told me that, she said it wasn’t their fault and I’d have to take up that complaint with the location back in Nevada.)
Oh, and when that tow-​truck driver hitched my car back up, he let me know that the Sahara staff had incorrectly attached my car and it had been dangerous to pull it that way. And, if it had come off the dolly, the safety chains (as they had been set up in Vegas) would have snapped and my car would have crashed into my wife who was following me.
In short, don’t use U-​Haul out of Las Vegas unless you don’t care about your possessions or your loved ones.

I had called the store at 7:30 AM on Sat. Nov.06,2010 and Stephanie had answered the phone. She made me feel on the phone that there was no need to call any where else. When i arrived at there location they where extremely helpful. Steven got my truck in .Help me on everything that he could help me on. Keep in mind for you to impress me a takes alot because I have been in customer service buis. for over 27 years. And in the last 6 years I have also owed a Self Storage
again my hat is Off to this Chain store that operated like Individually owned store
