Weight Watchers

A great location in Summerlin and great leaders! There is ample parking here and it’s easy to get to. The leaders are knowledgeable and very motivating, considering they have all been through what we go through with weight issues. Weight Watchers really works if you follow the plan. This is one of the few weight loss plans where you can still be a foodie and lose weight!

When I saw the ad on TV to join for free before Sept 12 of 2014, I went online to find the closest meeting. Lake Mead was the one. I read about Maria’s meetings and so on.
I then called the 800 number to inquire if there would be any fees since the TV offer was to join for free and get a starter kit.
The woman on the phone told me it is 49.00 per month or 13.00 a week pay as you go.
I had already told her what location and time I was planning on attending.
I get there today, after sitting in traffic for 25 minutes in 103 temps to find out there is an additional «registration» fee.
I really hate it when I call, ask the questions and so on and find out I have been duped.
When I got home, I called that same 800 number to complain. The man on the phone said, well ma’am your state is a franchise state.
How is it possible for these folks to stay in business with the wealth of brains and talent working for them?
STAY AWAY —do not fall for the ad, it is FALSE.

I’ve been to a couple meetings with a few different leaders now and while some are not my favorite there are a couple that are superb, motivating and helpful. There are plenty of meeting times to suit your schedule, hopefully your desired time slot is with a good leader! I love Maria at my Thursday afternoon meetings but summer afternoons with lots of fun activities get in the way. I prefer to weight in in the mornings anyhow but my days off don’t have leaders that I’d rather have. So I’m switching to WW Online for the summer to stay on track and not have to quit.
