2 guys from Wireless Fusion came to my door today at around 4 pm. I did not open my door but spoke to them through my screen door. I could smell the cigarette smoke through the screen door on the clothes of the fellow standing closest. The way he spoke he gave me the impression that he was with Cox Cable. He said that there were number of neighbors in our area who were having problems with their TV image freezing. I asked if it was because of the signal coming to the house or the DVR. They said it was because of the DVR. And they asked me what I was currently paying and if my bill had gone up recently. Assuming that they were with Cox, I said politely, «You should know.» While we were having this interchange the guy closest to the door was tapping away at an iPad. The way he was tapping on his screen gave me the impression that he was not really entering any information, but just pretending to do so. In any event, they did leave a business card. It did have the company name, Wireless Fusion, the persons name, and their address and phone number.

It gets dark here around 5:30PM. At a little after 6PM last night(already very dark) my surveillance camera alarm went off alerting me someone was in my side yard. I went out and found a Wireless Fusion salesperson in my side yard about 3 ft away from my RV. I asked him what was he doing on my property and he stated he was checking out satellite dishes. I told him he does not belong on my property and to leave. He got rude with me that he was just trying to do his job and I told him he was trespassing. He then argued that he wasn’t on my property but was on my neighbors. I told him you are 3 ft away from my RV on my property and if he didn’t leave I was calling the police. I discovered this company checks out what cable or satellite system you are using then tries to have you change over to their service. That is why they go on people’s property and check for satellite dishes attached to the sides of homes. This is trespassing.
