A BIGZERO. UNSAFE! UNCLEAN! I made an appointment. I arrived on time. When I got there, two men in work overalls who did not seem that they understood any English did not know that I had an appointment. They told me to wait. I did. They held a conversation in Spanish. I asked in Spanish what the problem was, and they told me to wait. The reception area is clean. The reception area was extremely hot, no air conditioning. I used the restroom. Very clean. Whom I thought were workmen turned out to be the massage therapist. I went into the room. There weren’t any diplomas on the wall. I was given a robe and told to lie down on the table. He left the room, but he did not knock before he entered the room again. I was on the table the wrong way. When I got up with the towel barely covering me, I noticed that where my feet had been, the sheet was very dirty. I asked for a clean one. He went out and got a clean one and while I was standing around in only this towel robe. The towel robe did not cover my back area. He changed the sheet. I asked him where he had gone to school. He said California. This is not what I meant. I asked him about which school in CA. He said Santa Monica blah, blah. and did not look at me. He did not appear professional at all. He waited for me to get on the table again, and I had to tell him to leave the room. I couldn’t get onto the table with any degree of modesty with him in the room. When he left, I got DRESSED. ANDWALKEDOUT. It is my belief that this workman and his work mate were not licensed massage therapists. I was told to wait for another person who was coming to do the massage. I think the men were discussing who would give me the massage. VERYUNPROFESSIONAL. I have also reported this incident to the Better Business Bureau.
