I smelled this fantastic smokey aroma that was so tantalizing that I had to give it a try. Imagine my disappointment when I found out the only smoked food they had was a pulled pork sandwich which tasted like it came out of a can, and no doubt the BBQ sauce did, the beer was flat, and the seating, lighting, and overall menu was scant. I had two bites of my sandwich and chose to walk away to find a better meal. The fries were good but I didn’t finish them, and the barkeep was friendly. Live and learn, kind of expensive mistake as far as food goes.

Stopped in for dinner this evening, the power went out. The cook finished our dinner IN THE DARK!!! IT WAS AWESOME! IT WAS THE BEST BBQ I’ve ever had, anywhere in the country… totally fair priced. The trip tip bruschetta, AMAZING, ribs AWESOME, western trip tip sandwich… NEUCLEAR…This place needs a spot on diners drive ins and dives… PERIOD…I’ll be going back soon…

This place is literally a hole in the wall… just an unassuming window at the back of the bar. But oh man was it tasty! Had a delicious meal with the family, so we got a big variety. We recommend the tri-​tip bruschetta, fried zucchini, and pulled pork everything.

Very very very good. Amazing bbq is hiding in a bar. The owner/​chef is amazing and so enthusiastic about what he does. The fried zucchini, tri tip, and pulled pork are amazing. I also really enjoyed the cole slaw… and I don’t really like cole slaw.

Best BBQ and grill on the river! This time around I had just the «basic» cheeseburger. Nothing basic about this baby! Fresh and tasty meat with a great bun, so huge you can hardly get your mouth around it! Did I mention the chips? Home made and the absolute best we’ve had anywhere! Cole slaw equally as amazing and since we are currently on a quest to find the best fried pickles we had to try those too, guess what? Yep … They know how to do it here. We do say get there early if you’re after he ribs, they do run out. Definitely a must stop, located inside the Old Town Saloon at the top of the hill by Harrahs.

Tucked away in a country bar resides one of the best bbq joints in Nevada. Had the west burger with fresh jalapeños pick thick cut slabs of bacon with cheese grade a top notch beef on a crisp buttered bun. Fries fresh cut perfectly cooked. Damn good with an ice cold beer at the bar. Well done!

It was hard to make a decision. Everything sounded soooooo good… ended up getting the sampler platter and a ½ rack of ribbs… THE BEST choice we could have made! A little taste of everything and it was ALL good! Fried pickles blew my mind! Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area and in the mood for BBQ!

I was here expecting a great meal on account of all the positive Unilocal reviews, but as I come in to the establishment I am just smacked by the scent of old stale cigarettes. The atmosphere is nothing close to appealing either. Old bar stools line up the less than extravagant bar area. The food here wasn’t the best, it was merely mediocre. But the worst thing about this place was the wait. There is no reason to take ONE HOUR to make a burger. There is no sense of urgency in this establishment and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Wow. Huge taste comes out of that little window. Great recommendations. Amazing flavors. Totally worth checking out. Try the pulled pork sandwich– crazy good. Old Towne Burger is the bomb. We’re coming back for sure.

Decided to try the bbq here based on the reviews from Unilocal.It’s a country bar with a little window you walk up to order your food.
You sit at the bar to eat or there is 1 table with about 6 chairs and then a few other tables that seat 2 – 4 people. Since we were the first there when they opened we were able to get a table, I don’t know if it gets busy busy. Ambience is a country dim bar feeling not my style so eh.
We ordered:
Pulled pork sliders sauce on the side– 5 stars
Crispy pickle chips– 4 stars
½ rack of ribs sauce on the side– 5 stars
Fries– 1 star
Cole slaw– 0 star
Stars are for the food, definitely.

Best food in all the Tri state area! Have been several times and will keep returning! The burgers are off the hook! Ribs are to die for! The pickle chips are my favorite item on the menu! I’m not big on cole slaw but the Cole slaw there is fresh, as everything is and I must say, pretty amazing! All I can say is, if you haven’t tried it yet, you really are missing out! It is off the hook! The owners are friendly and very professional as well as the rest of the staff! Hurry on over, you won’t be sorry!

My friends had the chicken tacos and the blues smoked pulled pork sandwich and I had a half rack of the signature smoked ribs. Everything was really good. 4.5 stars. Very satisfying meal in a bar with a small crowd which was pretty relaxing after leaving Harrahs.

Blaze n’ Blue’s BBQ is AMAZING! They smoke their meats outdoors, the aroma in the air brought back memories of camping. I had their ribs and chicken combo. The ribs fell off the bone and had a nice pink smoke ring that lets you know it’s the real deal, chicken was very juicy! Fries they cut themselves with skin on, delicious! They also have big burgers, sliders, tacos and numerous appetizers. I now have a craving so will definitely be back!
I like where their located, on top of the hill in Old Town Saloon just before Harrah’s Casino on Casino Dr. Because of the many activities in Old Town Saloon like, video poker, darts, pool tables and a dance floor, Blaze n’ Blues has a walk up window where you order, I found it very convenient.
