This is the first time I have tried Phở 89 but it will not be the last. The summer rolls were outstanding and the C4 was so good I divided it into 2 portions so that I will have it again tomorrow. I am on a diet and both of these items are listed as being items I can have. Thank goodness, I will be back. Keep up the good work!!!

Best Phở ever! We get E3 every time we go and it is just so good! Anytime we have family in from out of town, we go here and they love it. This place is definitely a diamond in the rough and worth every penny!

Worst phở I’ve ever tried in Maryland. Broth tasted terrible. Meat tasted old. Grilled beef dish was disgusting. Never going back again. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

Five stars for the special broth. Not your typical Vietnamese broth and I think that is why there are not-so-good reviews. This is now our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. We also ordered pork chops. Winner! My husband will not usually eat summer rolls but he did in this restaurant. Winner! Quick service! I am trying to think of cons for an unbiased review but I can’t think of any.

Definitely not authentic Vietnamese! The iced coffee tasted like water. The phở broth was not good. Definitely won’t be coming back.

I love place. The owners make us feel like family when we go in. The B1 is my favorite along with the chicken fried rice(to die for). My mother in law likes the shrimp phở also.

I’ve ate at a lot of place places and this is by far the WORST soup ever. I can’t even call it PHO. No flavor what so ever, I couldn’t add enough sauce to make it even taste decent. I guess it was a sign when the people working/running the place are not even Viet. Pls pls do not go here. They do not serve PHO =\

Don’t eat here! The phở is subpar and the service is horrible. The meat was very fatty, pretty much all fat and I had to pick it all out. When I asked the sever why it was all fat she said its because I ordered flank steak which is a bold face lie. No meat is all fat, it’s just fat. I love phở and eat it almost every week so I know better than to listen to her.

This is one Phở that really serve a delicious Soup. I definitely recommend this place. Only thing that keeping me to give this a 5 is the staff they are not friendly but their not rude either.

Great family environment and affordable! The owner is so friendly. We feel like family and we all have our favorite dishes. She remembers our likes and dislikes … Sometimes she brings out little samples of yumminess for us to try new things. We never have trouble with special orders — personalizing a dish, like leaving off peanuts or cilantro for my kids. There is something for everyone!

I ordered a carry out a few years ago & the Phở soup was so bland, tasted like water I threw it out. So I decided to give them another chance just on desserts. I ordered coconut drink & thai tea. The coconut drink was good, the use the same coconut drink I buy from the Asian market, however the thai tea was horrible. I threw it out, decided not to complain because I was never going back there again. Your better off going to Phở Kevin, they have tastier Phở & better thai bubble tea.

This is one of the best phở places i have ever being. The chicken phở is so tasty it is unbelievable. I have being to many of the restaurants in the area that serve phở and this one is the best. I highly recommend it.

We were looking for a late lunch that wasn’t too heavy and had real fresh elements. Phở 89 hit the spot. Great Phở noodle soups and dishes. Very reasonably priced with friendly service. I like spicy so I had sliced chili on the side. My friends Phở soup we plenty, flavorful with nice spice… so he says as his head is in bowl.

Phở(chicken) was very tasty w/plenty of veggies & the basil was so plentiful. I loved it!!! Chicken was actually seasoned well. Summer rolls were a little lacking(thus the 4-star review). They consisted of lots of iceberg lettuce, teeny tiny shrimp and rice noodles. No carrots, basil, cilantro(i.e. ‘Flavor’. Too bad, really! I’ll just steer clear of the summer rolls in the future.

Great Phở Ga and if you bring someone who doesn’t care for Phở, order the Chicken Fried Rice… absolutely amazing flavor!

Okay the spring rolls here are AWESOME. It’s the texture of their rice paper I think that makes them so good. Less than $ 4 for two decent sized spring rolls. You can ask for the vegetarian version thats not on the menu and they’ll replace the pork/shrimp with fried tofu. The phở is average but the prices are great and very affordable.

Once upon a time… …there was the cutest little phở shop with the nicest staff around. A Queen and King enjoyed it so much they brought the Princess and the Princess loved it. This was becoming the regular soup stop for the royal family as the phở broth was superior to many of its rivals in the Kingdom of Mary’s Land. Then one night during a visit, the Queen went off to the restroom and the King saw mice playing cricket in the back. Mice you say? Yes, plural, real life fur balls. The End.

I have been passing this place for years since I started going to the Super Best and Amish Market, then zipping up to Corridor Wine(still can’t call it Total Wine yet…). Was it any good? It is always hard to tell from the outside, as it is tucked away off 198 and is so small. Could be a hole in the wall that deserves to languish, or it could be a hidden gem. I finally decided to just go in there and get some phở. This place is small, but did have some good business going on at 1230 on a Wednesday. The waiter(the owners son) came and took my drink order promptly and gave me a menu. I ordered the B2 Phở Chin, Nam, Gau Gan Sach(well-done flank, brisket, fat brisket, soft tendon and bible tripe) and a jasmine tea. The tea came right away, and the phở came soon after. The phở had the usual accompaniments: Thai basil, sprouts, lime wedges and jalapeños. All very fresh. The phở broth itself was wonderfully beefy and satisfying, and the rice noodles were well cooked, and there was plenty of both in a large bowl. I thought the phở was a bit scant on meat, but what there was was very flavorful. You can order more meat for an extra $ 1.75, but unless you really need lots of meat and are a really big eater I wouldn’t bother. The flavor is there as is the broth and noodles. At $ 7.75 for a large bowl, it is a bargain.
