I am going to try to make this review less painful than the process that I experienced. To begin, I was in the market for a new washer and dryer for my new home. I wanted something nice, up to date and the ability to serve as a stack-able. The process the purchase the washer and dryer went smoothly. Henry was an awesome sales man, but there was no way I could prepare myself for the delivery process. The washer and dryer was supposed to be delivered the following morning. Delivery Attempt #1: The delivery crew showed up 2 hours late with a stacking kit ONLY. Yep on their big truck, the only thing they had for me was a stacking kit. After sharing my dismay, another delivery was scheduled for the following morning. Delivery Attempt #2: The washer and dryers were delivered. I showed the crew the space for the washer and dryer(I must admit it was a tight fit) but they agreed to set it up. After the washer was put in, the delivery guy asked for the staking kit, only to inform me that the kit was not complete and that the job could not be done. Delivery Attempt #3: This delivery crew showed up with a new stacking kit and informed me that the previous delivery guys broke washer pan that is required to go under the machine. This was required because the machine is on the third floor. This delivery guy proceeded to remove the washer pan and instructed that I call customer service to have it replaced. He also showed me that my door would not close but he was able to set up the machine and my family and I could wash clothes. Delivery Attempt #4: This delivery crew was tasked to deliver and set up the washer pan. They showed up, saw the space and informed me that they were not plumbers and could not assist. I cannot make these things up. Delivery Attempt #5: Finally Sears sent out a delivery crew and plumber and my washer and dryer were set up properly and the door could also close. This was the worst experience that I have ever had with Sears and I would warn everyone to be aware of the possible delivery issues. Luckily there was a customer service rep that assisted me through all of these issues but that did not come without me «losing my cool» more than once. Becoming a homeowner has been an interesting experience but this was not one of the plus sides. There will be another delivery crew coming to my home this weekend to pick up the incomplete stacking kit that was originally delivered. Phew! Happy Picking… :)

We needed a new washing machine, as the old one punked out after 15 years of loyal service. I saw that Sears was having a big appliance sale, and we have always had great luck with Kenmore appliances, so we checked out the website at to see what was available. We headed out to the Sears Appliance Showroom in Laurel, MD to pick it out. The salesman told us that a new sale was about to begin in two days and we could get an even better price if we came back then. We were grateful for his advice, and came back when the sale was underway. He showed us a washer which was much better than the one I had picked online, and at a similar price. It was full of great feature that I didn’t even know existed! He took our order and set up the delivery. I love this new washer, it does everything but sort the clothes for me. Salesman was terrific, and I would come back here to buy an appliance again. Kenmore makes great product, we have several others already, and this one doesn’t look like it will disappoint.
