This is regarding The Bus TRIP to Upper Marlboro 51 route. This was my first and maybe my last experience on The Bus. What can I say, .PG County. Does everything have to be so ghetto? I guess it goes with the territory, literally. I’m on The Bus in the first place because my car is out-of-service. I looked up how to get to my jury duty via public transportation from New Carrollton Metro rail station. I was told from a Metro bus driver that I had to walk all the way down to The last Bus stop, for The Bus, The TRIP Bus. So The Bus was late, of course, starting off. I was told that I could use my Smart Trip card. That was nice & easy. The Bus driver was nice except that he told everyone that he hadn’t done this route for a couple years & could anyone help him out. Huh?! You don’t review your route before you start The Bus route? So he shouts this out & asks if ‘anyone could help direct him on the way’ … Like he says, ‘do I turn here’?? Seriously?! A lot of people on The Bus are clueless, including myself. Hullo, I’ve never been on this bus! Other people are shouting, NO, don’t turn here! The Bus never goes that way! Omygosh. Help! What the heck! Only in PG County. Needless to say, I was relieved that the jury check-in and welcome was delayed too. Again, PG — but hey, it worked out. In the end, The Bus was late, lost, slow. Will I ride The Bus again? I hope not.
