I would not recommend going here to get anything tailored. And here’s why… I went in about a week before Christmas and brought 2 pairs of pants to be altered, more specifically hemmed to my proper inseam. I brought in a pair of black cargo pants and green casual pants. The guy had me get in this tiny as hell closet and try EACHPAIR on come back out and he pinned THEM in the proper spot. I got my ticket an was told they’d be ready in 3 days. I came and got them, paid approximately $ 10 a pair(which I thought was high, but I’d never got something hemmed before so I had no real clue). Anyhow I got them home and tried on the green pants they fit perfect, really professionally done. I hung up the black cargo pants in the closet and forgot about them for a little over a month. Right around the 1st of February I finally felt like wearing those black cargo I pulled them outta the closet to find they were not hemmed at all. They were the original 32 inch inseam that they were when I brought them in to be done. I went right back to the cleaners and told them about the pants not being hemmed. Even after explaining to them that the tailor had, had me try on BOTH pairs and had pinned BOTH pairs in the spot to be hemmed they insisted I only wanted the green pants hemmed and the black ones dry cleaned. They simply would not admit they messed up. I’ve never even had a single piece of clothing dry cleaned so I know there was no way in hell I would suddenly ask for a pair of black cotton cargo pants to be dry cleaned. What a bunch of idiots. Completely un-professional. Do not get anything tailored here.

I came here to get 4 patches put on my jiu-jitsu Gi. I asked the tailor the price 4 times and wouldn’t answer me. Then he directed me to the register after taking 15 minutes and the guy told me it would be 60 dollars. I told him I thought at the most it would be $ 30 and he laughed in my face. He is lucky I have learned some self control. Any way I then Unilocaled tailors south bay and found a lady named coco in Torrance and she did each patch for 6 bucks equaling $ 24. Classic cleaners = rude rip off

I’m a little worried after having read other reviews about shirts being messed up… but my experience was absolutely positive. I dropped by this morning to pick up wool dress pants and a white dress shirt. It was a beautiful day, sunny and clear skies. I wasn’t immediately helped upon stepping in, but after no more than a minute, a friendly lady worker came to the counter, flashing me a smile, and apologized for the wait. I said«oh, no problem!» and handed her my receipt. As she got my clothes, I leaned on the counter, turning toward the door… and noticed that there was a freakin. «station» — like a countertop, I want to say(God, I don’t know the right word for it), sort of like the trashcans at In N Out that have a shelf you can place your trays on. Anyway, there’s this… «block» there, and on it was a plate of donut holes, and a glass cake stand cover! I can’t recall if there was coffee, but I was blown away that there were complimentary donut holes in the morning! She came back with my clothes, and asked if I was going to work. My face lit up, and, smiling, I replied«no, the beach!» Until my clothes get ruined(and that’s a big if), I’m gonna trust them to handle my dry cleaning. And maybe snag some donut holes(I’ll try em next time, and update the review with comments on the taste & quality). She got my order — it was about $ 6.

This business’s cleaning practices have tanked and their prices are excessive now. Back in the day they offered great dry cleaning at an amazing price! After two or three changes in management they have lost their touch and the customer service is in the toilet now! I spent at least $ 500 a year over 5 years in dry cleaning /alterations with this company and have recently been treated like I spend $ 5 a year. The only reason why I am giving them 2 stars is due to the factor that they have a very good tailor on site.

This place SUCKS! They lost 3 out of 4 shirts and I was never compensated for them. What’s worse, is the sales clerk told me to keep coming back to the store to check if they were returned by someone else. I returned to the store 3 times, WTF? The sales clerk didn’t even to offer to deliver the shirts to me, home or office if they found them. They wanted me to keep returning to the store to check in. CLASSICCLEANERSSUCKSTHEBIGONE!

This place does a pretty decent job at good prices. Shirts usually come out clean — if not, they will try to spot remove onsite or redo. Seem pretty friendly and the turnaround is quick. Be careful — Once they mis-categorized my clothes(ie: wool shirt instead of cotton) and that can be more expensive. But they fixed it w/no problem. Hint: ask for the punch card — even though you have to spend $ 100+ to get $ 10 off, if you go often, it pays off. Also I’ve recently found coupons in the mail
