No frills, mom and pop Vietnamese restaurant. If you want a sparkling clean, elegant restaurant with complex dishes, go elsewhere. However, for simple, tasty and authentic Vietnamese food, look no further.

The dishes lack items on them that traditionally were supposed to be with the dish. Bun Bo Hue used the wrong type of noodles/vermicelli, lacked items. He smoothie was mostly ice and tasted like sugar.

Hidden gem! Reasonably priced and excellent soup! Doesn’t have that overpowering sodium taste. The fresh spring rolls are a favorite! The service is excellent and the owners are friendly. Unfortunately this place gets a bad name because it’s located in lawrence.

BESTPHOSOUP I HAVEHAD! I get D3 every time and its the best soup ive had! It may be filled with the MSG they hold the door open with which is probably why its so addicting but it is still so good. The only negative is that i have seen them actual microwave my soup(since the microwave is in plane view from the dining room) which is a little upsetting and changes the taste and how long it stays hot for, but usually it is fresh and i can see them ladle it out of the big pot on the stove. Otherwise, i am a regular and would recommend to anyone!

Probably the best Phở around. Been searching everywhere for authentic Phở and most try hard but never can get it right. My wife and I absolutely love this place. Clean, polite and great food!!!

Decent Vietnamese food. Price was okay but not super impressed by the phở. Chicken wings were very fresh and crispy and juicy but a little bland in the batter(great with sriracha). Spring rolls were yummy. The peanut sauce was good too. My father and I both got phở. He got the rare steak phở which he liked and I got one of the seafood bowls. Having eaten a lot of Vietnamese, I don’t think this is top notch, but quite good for lunch. Service was fast and very helpful when answering questions. I recommend the fresh lemonade!!! So good. More like limeade but very delicious. $ 3 for a tall glass.

I work in the area and sometimes it’s satisfying when I really crave phở because there is no other phở joints nearby. I came here several times. The phở is okay, hits the spot when you really want it. I ordered the porkchop rice plate and it was awful! Tasted a little spoiled, something funky about it. What really turned me off was my last recent visit. It was not busy and I sat at a table where I was facing the kitchen and can see what goes on in there. First of all when I walked in, the lady(chef) was wiping down a table with a rag of which I am assuming is dirty… I then noticed she went to the kitchen to prepare phở and had not washed her hands from cleaning the table with the rag. Not only that, she did not have gloves on and she was handling food with her bare unwashed hands!!! Disgusting!!!

Seeing that I live the next town over and didn’t want to drive to my usual spot… Wahhhh wahhhh… Major disappointment! Phở-lease… I beg the differ for those who have ONLY tried this place. Under flavor and over price.

Great food at a great price, the atmosphere is very simplistic but for the price and free parking this place is awesome. The Phở is delicious and the staff is very friendly, almost nothing is fried

I went in this place today for the first time, and what a shame that I just discoverd phở soup three months ago in Boston. This place has been there since early 2000s and I just tried it today. I went simple rare beef phở, they brought out the complimentary hot tea, the sprouts two sprigs of basil, and a lime, two minutes later out comes my bowl of soup, the broth was delish, the table was set up with the fish sauce, and siracha sauce, and where it was such a chilly day everything went to sooo good. I need to go back and try a few more things before I give it a five star, but everything looked soo good, and I am so happy I dont have to drive to Lowell or Boston to get some good phở.

I love Phở and have it a million times at a million different places. But the soup here just tastes weird. Like it’s old. And stinky. I’ve tried the chicken and beef broths and something is just ‘off’. The fresh spring rolls and peanut sauce were typical… but you go eat vietnamese food to eat Phở. and if you’re going to be good at making anything, it should be the Phở. I’ve gotten the Bun before too… and the noodles were hard as well. Not really impressed.

Thin, weak Phở. Vietnamese coffee in a plastic cup. I used to come here often, then I found Phở 88 in Lowell.

Blasted. This review is based on a couple of pick ups — one chance too many that I’ve given. This place is a little overpriced for watered down Vietnamese food. Take out food really shouldn’t be –that– bad. The soup doesn’t have the full body of a real phở of bones soaked for days. The spring rolls were dry and lifeless. However, the phở(while I’m highly critical) is a good starter for those people trying Vietnamese food for the first time and what not. The spices aren’t too overwhelming and it has a light body so I think it’d be a nice way to ease into the cuisine(as opposed to scaring yourself to shits by eating authentic food right away). If you’re really itching for Viet craving– you can come here. I keep coming back like a bad ex.

Some of the best noodle soups I have ever had. I have waited for the perfect cold winter night to come here. It was even more perfect, as I had a cold brewing and needed a hot bowl of phở to nurse me back to perfect health. Once inside, the lights so bright, and the place smelled of soup bubbling. We were promptly greeted, and hot tea was put down. We had: spring rolls(2): filled with shrimp, vermicelli, mint w/a peanut dipping sauce, Chicken wings; crispy skin, and flavorful(4). My phở had the broth of the gods. So flavorful and comforting. It had the beef brisket, tendon, and tripe. They also give you plate of bean sprouts and Thai basil to add to the phở, Dennis had a chicken phở, but with rice instead of noodles. We also got a plate of spicy noodles with chicken, shrimps, cabbage, carrot, baby corn which we shared and was just the right amount of heat. I don’t care that T& N is in Lawrence, I want to return ASAP and get more Phở.
