Never going back here again this stylist charged me an extra ten dollars to braid my hair back for the extensions cause she said i have full hair like seriously so I paid 115 for closure plus 10 dollars extra just to braid my hair this is a ripoff! I’m better off wearing lace front wigs it’s cheaper last longer and better looking!!!

First time here & I absolutely love my frontal install by Porsche. She was quick and she laid my hair. I made a late appt got there around 4:30 and was out by like 7:30ish. Also their hair braider was super gentle and my braids were still tight. Cute décor & very sweet ladies so I will be returning

I give three stars because I’ve been here twice and both times I was in and out fairly quick. I don’t usually give reviews however I feel like I should this time. The hair sold here is terrible. I paid a little over $ 300 for three bundles and in under 2 months + 2 installs, It matts, sheds, tangles, all of the above. I am great with taking care of extensions, I’ve had hair over year that I’ve bought previously with several installs and it’s never been this bad. The actual install was ok when the owner did it, I could pull it up and back unnoticed however when I allowed Milli to install it on the second go around you can see tracks everywhere. Especially at the top, I had to go in and sew some down myself so you couldn’t see the gaps. I would recommend a few refresher courses/​videos on weave installs to keep up with current techniques.

All I have to say is Deja is da bomb!!! She has personality and 5 star customer service! I’ve had other people install a full weave and it took them 4 – 5 hours. I was out of there in 1.5 hours. Deja is the real deal and the owner is Awesome too. thanks ladies!

On January 23, 2016 I had my hair done at the salon. It was really pretty, but on February 2,2016 my weave started to coming out, I brushed my hair and this my track was hanging. The young lady that done my hair didn’t sew my weave in tight enough and the back part of my braids are loose. I paid these people 110.00 dollars. I Honestky believe that they sew it in loosely so in two weeks you will have to return to have it tighten.
I thought trying them out for the first time it would be ok, never again and I don’t advise anyone else. That place is a ripoff.

I have been coming here for over 4 years best sew in’s ever. Porsha and staff have always provided me with fantastic service.

DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE! I looked liked I was suffering from an illness after the owner Porsha installed my weave. My head smaller than a newborn. I ended up paying $ 160 for a weave that I took out that same day. This is a horrible salon.

This is not a salon, This is a going to your homegirls house and letting her 15 yr old daughter do your hair in the kitchen kind of spot! The Staff= Ratchett. 1^st off the braiders look like crack heads (image is everything). The Owner (Nicole) is fake, the main stylist (Porscha) has no personality whatsoever, however she is talented, she does the best closures in Gwinnett, but she has no social skills at all. She stares and makes facial expressions (weird). They are jack up price Queens! quotes you on the phone, then hits you with extra. They say cut and style is included, but Porscha cant cutt. I got an invisible part by Porscha ($ 150), she rushed it! Went home and seen that the tracks were visible! I thought it was called «invisible» however there is a new girl in the shop from Orlando, she has skills, she smiles, and she’s Dope! and Don’t buy no hair from them, they sell that new «Indian Nappy Grade F»…

I have been wearing weave for more than 10 years, I have been getting my hair weaves at Five Star for more than a year. I am a professional women, my hair always looks good. It is flat and natural better than places that charge a lot more. I have paid up to $ 300 and was not as happy with my hair. They always stand behind their work. believe me you will be satisfied. Don’t listen to the few that complain try it for your self.

I honestly don’t know why this place has negative reviews. I have been getting my hair done here for 3 years now and EVERY time my hair comes out great. Porsha does my hair majority of the time. However, regardless of who does it it’s always superb.
I also saw comments about how it looks. I don’t think it should be a problem about how the place looks as long as it’s not dirty and disturbing. I honestly think this place does excellent hair. Yes some teenagers work there but they’re only braiders so what’s the big deal.
If you’re looking for a reasonably priced place to get your hair done this place is perfect.
You guys are failing to mention the type of hair you purchased to install because maybe that’s the problem.

This is the worst salon in all of Georgia, if there are any shops worse than this one they should not be in existence.
I have been to several salons in different areas that catered to different hairstyles that I’ve had over the years, this particular shop is a shack that the owner tries to call a business, which would be okay if they actually provide good customer service, which is not the case Porscha and her so called staff (1 person) as well as her stylist or incompetent. Porscha has been recorded stating in her own words that she is not out to please her customers and that if their style does not come out correctly it is their own fault her staff member/​office manager is a joke. In a very kind serene voice she said herself we just tell customers to go somewhere else if they’re not happy here we are not really worried about taking the time to make you happy when it’s best if you just go somewhere else. Porscha has stylist in this shack that are teenagers most not all and when asked how long they’ve been doing hair they lie, Porcha’s training is improper and she really needs to rethink her business model, or better yet not own a business.

If I could give a 0 star, I would. Porsha, the owner, did my sew in and did a horrible job. She charges FOR EVERYTHING! She gives you one price over the phone but after you get there and get braided, she raises the price. She charges $ 20 for cut and style BUT SHE CAN’T CUT! WHAT A WASTE! IF YOU ARE GOING TO PAY $ 150 FOR $ 50 SEW IN, GO TO A CELEBRITY STYLIST. Oh and you will be there at least 5 hours!
