Haven’t been here in years but I had a take-out calzone and I swear it tasted like it was delivered from Brooklyn. It was big and the inside ingredients went all the way to the edges. Don’t you hate it when you get a calzone somewhere and it takes three bites to get to the good stuff? Not here. AND … I learned that they serve the same mouth-watering calzones with up to three ingredients for a super low price on Wednesdays. Hump day only got better.

Really enjoy this place. Good food and easy to call in and pick up. The wings have a variety of flavors to choose from and the pizza is great. My family likes the margarita pizza the best. The only reason for the 4 star is due to the hot dogs. My kids got a few and they either seem to be out of them or they are overcooked. Everything else is great.

Pizza is very good. Favorite is pepperoni and garlic. The real minced garlic. Nice and juicy. Greek salad and Esperansa Dressing is excellent Sometimes service is slow.

My wife and I visited here about a month ago. We really enjoyed our first experience here’s my review:
The pizza we ordered was delicious. It was the Margherita pizza. The pizza had fresh ingredients and was very flavorful. It was cooked a little too much, as the pizza had a few burnt spots on the bottom.
The service here wasn’t excellent, but we weren’t expecting incredible service. We had to wait a few times before our drinks were refilled. The restaurant itself has kind of a run-down dirty feel to it, but overall this just adds to the experience. We’ll be back again, but this restaurant hasn’t become our favorite pizza joint.

Friendly staff. Creamy Italian dressing was actually remarkable! Salad and plenty of toppings and feta!
Calzone was yummy but nothing memorable or to bring me back.
Their chicken parmesan was… well awful. Chicken was burnt around the edges and could tell it was from the freezer. Was lacking sauce overall.
Sauce is lacking flavor! Spice ur sauce! Come on!
Overall mediocre at best but better than hmmm let’s say papa Johns :/Definitely locals keeping this place afloat
Waiting till customers have sat down to wipe down tables (probably due to ppl sitting down fast while waiting on tables)

Update…Took Ten min for someone to notice we finished. The table next to us told about the $ 1 slice Tuesday (+95c toppings) on their way out. Uhm wtf! Why isn’t my waitress telling me this before i order. Not posted in the menu or walls that I noticed.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 star was because every item I had there is good except for a regular slice of cheese pizza. It was only ok to me. Others may enjoy. My favorite happens to be The New Yorker! So good!!! I normally get just a cheese pizza when I go anywhere else but so far Empire is the only place I’ll go to if I want toppings on my pizza. So delicious! I got a chance to talk to the owner and he’s awesome!

Fight Night! My order was pushed back due to an order of 7 Large pizzas right before mine. Staff was very friendly and apologetic, which I appreciated. No problem with that. However, I was underwhelmed with the flavor of the pizza. The sauce needs some assistance folks.

Great über-casual mom and pop pizza joint. I am always torn between the King Kong Calzone and the Meat Packing District Pizza. The staff is friendly and they have a great rotation of crafted beers on tap. It takes a while for the food, but that’s because they are hand tossing the dough before every order. Have a couple of beers, enjoy a salad and watch TV while you wait.

Good crispy wings and calzones. Everything is made fresh so it take a while for it to come out. Owner visits tables and is very sweet, definitely a plus.
They also have daily specials. I believe Thursday is $.50 wings and Tuesday was $ 6.99 calzone. Those are the only two I can remember though.

Usually very good however this last time they refused to sub black olives for green olives on a signature pizza. Really? ok fine. Give them 25 min and it will be ready. Actually that was 25min + another 15 and no offer of anything while I waited.
Too many pizza places close by for this. Taking my $$ somewhere else next time.

Okay. Gotta say that I wasn’t impressed with my first order from here. Not sure what went wrong… just not crazy about the pizza. SOOOO glad I gave this place another chance! Pizza, wings and calzones have been excellent for my last two orders! The kids won’t shut up about it! This place is great and so close to home too. Love that they have their own garden out back. Keep up the great work guys! The only drawback is the price. Gotta love their Sunday deal though! Whew!

Empire is the real deal! Great pizza… the dough is the winner for me. The specialty options are all excellent.
Sometimes, we throw in some chicken tenders and fries which are solid.
Add some time to the take out estimate. It always takes longer. Clearly I wait for it though.

I am from Boston and have experienced some amazing pizza up North. When we moved to Georgia we were quite disappointed due to the lack of authentic pizza places. However my faith in humanity was restored when we happened upon this joint.
The pizza is hot, fresh and simple. They make it the NYC way with thin, crispy and resilient crust, fresh straight-forward toppings and flavorful but not overpowering sauce.
The ambiance is what I look for in a pizza place. It is not immaculate and it carries a certain charm because of it. It is cozy and I feel at home when I go there. You can tell that some people are regulars which is always a good sign.
I would definitely recommend it!

I’m wavering between a 2 — 3 star on this eatery. We’ve had pizza on a take out order and it was good, albeit just slightly doughy in the center.
On this visit, we went in and ordered pasta and salads off the menu. One thing that was off-putting was the jalapeño kick in the ranch dressing — wasn’t expecting that and didn’t finish the salad. The croutons on the salad were rock hard and not in a good way. We ordered the garlic knots and they were doughy and so much so that we sent them back to be cooked awhile longer. Also did not finish those. The pasta was just so-so. It was served hot but had little or no flavor. The garlic bread served with the pasta lacked butter or even garlic for that matter.
We’ll give this place another shot because the pizza was good on the take out order. Not sure why the experience was so blah and disappointing on the second visit. Maybe the 3^rd time will be the so-called charm. Not sure I’m a fan just yet…
