Definitely recommend this Thai restaurant for anyone wanting a good place to eat Pad Thai or curry. It looks clean and the service was great! I love Thai food, and it wasn’t greasy or too heavy. It was just right.

I’m always in the mood for good Thai food, so I decided to give Fresh Bowl a chance. We ordered Pot Stickers for the appetizer, the Red Curry Chicken for the main course, and Sticky Rice Mango for dessert. All of it was excellent. The Red Curry Chicken, in particular, had the best flavor of any I’ve ever had. Each dish had fresh, wonderful tasting ingredients. The service was also great. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I’ll definitely be back to try other items on their menu.

I came for lunch today based on Unilocal reviews. It is located right by the Sugarloaf Mills. The inside is very nice and clean. Plenty of tables. I ordered pad see ew with shrimp from the lunch menu. It comes with coconut soup. The soup was delicious. They could give more though. It was half bowl. The pad see ew came out about 5 – 7 minutes later. That also was delicious but I expected bigger portion as it is $ 9. Portion I got was a bit small for the price. So with tip my lunch was $ 10. A bit pricey for lunch as I typically spend $ 5 – 7 for lunch. Still good food, nice place, and friendly staff.

I ordered Pad See Ew for lunch today. It was spicy as I asked for. It was good and tasty. I just wished its portion were a little bigger. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it very much. Will definitely come back again.

My husband and I had heard that this was a great little restaurant… They were right. I ordered the tofu pad Thai which was excellent but could have used a tad more sauce(but in their defense I like things saucy) and I would order it again. My husband bought Sesame chicken and he also liked it. We were very pleased at all the menu items were made with white meat. It seems there is a full bar which would be nice in the evenings. The prices were fair –around eight dollars for a lunch! When we ordered lunch we also got a bowl of coconut soup which was excellent! We will certainly go back!

Wonderfully fresh tasting, fast and exceptional service. Too bad I don’t live on this side of town or I would come weekly. Will make a point to drop in when I pass through this way. Basil rolls were packed with basil where many places put a single leaf in. Pad see ew was perfect. Highly recommend both!

Finally got a chance to dine here and it totally blew me away. I thought the name didn’t really do it justice… Mind you, they currently have no wifi so you’ll have to use your own data. I’m not sure if they’re going to or not but I really hope they do! We ordered the following(and all are generous portions for the price!): Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice with a Fried Egg on top for $ 1.00 extra. They use all organic eggs by the way. It comes with sliced chicken breast, vegetables, pineapples, raisins and it was simply delicious. It wasn’t too sweet, too salty, it was perfectly balanced. Green Beef Curry. A generous portion of green beef curry with steamed white rice on the side. I like that the beef isn’t over cooked, it was still nice and tender. There are bits of bamboos in a nice coconut broth, not too spicy and garnished with basil. The dish was both beautiful and delicious. And my most favorite dish of all is the Beef Glass Noodle dish. Oh my, it was exactly what my palate was craving for. Perfectly seasoned with tender beef and plenty of vegetables and perfectly cooked glass noodle. Last but not least, we couldn’t leave without tasting the Fried Bananas and Ice cream… but I have to be honest, it was my least favorite. I didn’t care for that particular flavor of honey they used to drizzle the fried bananas with… and the fried batter wasn’t crispy enough to hold up. The ice cream was good… Anyways, regardless of the disappointing ice cream, we thoroughly enjoyed everything else and will be coming back!

Stopped in again the other day, since a friend was down from Tennessee, and we both love Thai food. Again, incredible service and delicious food. Everything came out quickly, perfectly prepared, and looked beautiful. Flavor was exactly as expected with each dish. Thrilled to have made it back here(during a busy time — lunch!) to find everything as wonderful as I remembered it being before. We spent a few hours catching up. so left an extra tip for the waiter. He didn’t make us feel rushed and continued to fill our drinks throughout our chat. I’ll definitely be back again!

Decided to try this place out because it had great Unilocal reviews. This place was okay, not the best Thai food and not the worst. Maybe it was just what we ordered. However, I must admit the service was great though! Our server was really nice and attentive and I would come back due to this reason. Ordered the fried vegetable spring rolls as an appetizer and they were okay, it appeared to only have cabbage in it from what I could tell. Just a little plain for my liking. My boyfriend ordered the general tso chicken which was pretty good and sweet. I got the pad woon sen which was good also, but I feel like I’ve had better.

Server was nice, portions were big, little expensive. I order Crab Rangoon [because I liked this appetizer from other Thai place ] It was oily, more shell than stuffing. Salmon Curry with fried rice way yum. My Friend ordered Mango Chicken which was also good.

amazing! I went for lunch and it was quiet, fast, and delicious. the coconut soup was perfect for a rainy day and the panaang curry was near perfect – the only thing keeping me from a 5 star is that the chicken was just a tiny bit tough. everything came out very quickly and the service was also fast and attentive. this is some of the best Thai food I have had in a while and I will definitely return

The staff is very attentive and friendly. We said my daughter had peanut allergy, she set aside the sauce that has peanut on a different bowl. The crispy duck with apple salad is the star of the dish. It is crunchy, boneless with the right amount of sweet and sour. The green curry is average. The spicy basil fried frice could use more seasoning. I would definitely come back for the duck aand for the friendly service

I ordered take out for lunch– chicken panang curry which comes with a veggie spring roll. The chicken was very dry, unfortunately. Also, the curry tasted okay but I wish it was a bit richer. It was pretty watery. Staff was very friendly and everyone seemed nice. I haven’t dined in yet so I don’t know what that experience is like. The interior seemed pretty clean, as this restaurant is fairly new. The place is located in a strip my sugarloaf/discover mills mall. I’d love to make this my regular Thai place but the food isn’t up to par and definitely not reflective of the high reviews it’s been getting on Unilocal.Maybe they are still tweaking since the place hasn’t been open long. Veggie spring roll was decent. I hope the chicken is less dry and the curry is a bit thicker next time! I will probably give the place another chance when I’m desperate for Thai again.

Pretty good! I had this crazy urge for Curry, and no decent Thai restaurants in the area, so I decided to check out Fresh Bowl Thai, since I pass it daily. Like most locations, there is a lunch section, and for the Green Curry, it set me back $ 8.50, which included chicken breast meat, which was pretty tender to chew. The actual green curry itself was creamy, and had this slow burn type of heat to it, that was well received. Broccoli, Green and red peppers along with(I think) spinach were throughout the curry, and it was all very tasty. Even the free spring roll had more flavor to it than the uninspired spring rolls that accompany other dishes from competing restaurants. Serving size appeared small at first glance, but I wasn’t able to finish all the rice they gave me. Don’t worry though, there’s a decent serving of chicken as well. If Thai isn’t your thing, they also have Chinese inspired dishes, and their own little«pick your own» hibachi section, where you dress your plate with all your desired ingredients, and hand it off to be cooked. Cool! Located on the Sugarloaf Mills foot print, Fresh Bowl is at the intersection of North Brown Road and Sugarloaf parkway. Very easy to get in and out of, with plenty of parking, although the parking is shared with Rising Roll next door. I wasn’t expecting much from Fresh Bowl Thai, but they delivered a light, fresh tasting and flavorful dish on their first shot with me and I look forward to going back.

LUNCHANDSHOPPING, PERFECT! I noticed this restaurant as my son and I were pulling into the back side of Sugar Loaf Mills mall. It is located in a strip mall just directly across from Books a Million. The NOWOPEN sign announced it’s newness and we were excited to give it a try. Let’s face it, if you ever walk into a Thai restaurant and are not warmly greeted with smiles and politeness, you should back out of the door immediately because you are probably in the wrong place. I love Thai restaurants for their refreshingly simple aesthetic which is evident in their décor as well as their food. You automatically get that warm and welcoming feeling as you enter the restaurant. We chose to sit in a booth next to the window, but you may also request table seating. We arrived at approximately 11:15 and were the only customers in the restaurant throughout our meal. It was very quiet and relaxing and the perfect place to have great conversation. We started our meal by sampling the spring rolls which were nicely seasoned but too oily. They simply needed to be drained prior to plating. The coconut soup which accompanied our meal was light and refreshing with green onions and fresh mushrooms. My son ordered the Basil Fried Rice and I selected the Chicken Lo Mein with diminished sweetness. My son’s rice was perfectly seasoned and had a very authentic Thai taste unlike some Thai restaurants that feature«Ameri-Thai». My Chicken Lo Mein was well seasoned but had a bit too much oil added. I usually request light on the oil with all Asian dishes but this time I forgot. Now, don’t confuse«Asian oily» with«Southern greasy» because their is a HUGE difference. I can actually eat a dish that has a bit too much oil but if something has a heavy greasy look or taste, it is not going to be edible for me. My meal was still delicious and I ate every bit of it. This restaurant is perfectly located so that you can actually get a decent meal before going into the mall where the options are very limited. I can’t wait to return with the rest of the family. The service was timely and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
