I agree with Andrew. Hard to notice this place from the road. You have to go just past the light and the entrance is between Sweet Baby Jane’s and Burger King on the right if you are coming from 316. Anyhoo — I was SUPER nervous about this hotel. I booked on and the reviews were OK but there were a couple of hotels that were rated higher. I am spoiled and don’t even look at hotels that have less than a 4-star rating, but this was the closest to the event I was attending. I wanted a place less than 5 miles away so I could walk back to the hotel if I got s*&t-faced. My stay was for 3 nights, 4 days. What a pleasant surprise. I think they’ve done some tremendous upgrading since Andrew’s stay. I was booked in a king studio with Jacuzzi. Everything looked really new. To be nit-picky, they use WAAAY too much carpet freshener and you get slapped in the face with the smell every time you enter the room. But I’d rather that than the smell of mold or fresh garbage. The desk attendant was lovely. I was three hours early for check-in but I had been out the night before and got straight on a plane, then rented a car and drove 45 mins from the airport so I needed a nap. After playfully chastising me, she found me a room on the first floor. I didn’t go higher, so I can’t comment on the condition of the elevator. The room was great. It was almost as big as my NY apartment! It was equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, couch, jacuzzi tub. The AC was set to 70 degrees on entry. The room was immaculate. Service was great — promptly cleaned after I left for the morning. The jacuzzi was awesome — large deep tub that was tall-people friendly! If I have another event in this area — this will be my go-to hotel.

Hard to quickly notice this place from the road. Pleasant interaction with the desk clerk man. The elevator was surprisingly grungy and in need of new flooring. The room was roomy and complete with a nice full length mirror. The bathroom fan was either not working or very quiet. I could see that the tub, shower, toilet and tiled floor had been nicely and recently remodeled. I spotted a couple of stray dark hairs in the bathroom, one long, one short, that obviously were not from us as we are blondes. The t.v. remote control stopped working at night and has no manual controls. I had to get appropriately dressed and walk down to see the desk clerk who tried new batteries then had to locate a replacement for me from another room while I waited patiently. Room temperature controls had been moved to a thermostat on the wall that was not user friendly and was permanently set on a temperature of 76 degrees regardless of the temperature you or your company thought it felt. In the morning, breakfast in the lobby was o.k. Friendly staff.
