Yummmmy!!! This columbian restaurant is a hole in the wall in Duluth off Pleasant Hill in a big shopping plaza that contains a mexican tacos place, planet fitness, H&R Block, a super mercado, random title pawn place, and other things you’ll forget as soon as you see them. You might forget the parking lot, but you’ll never forget the amazingness of the food here! We started with some empanadas and arepas with horchata. The horchata was a little sweet for me, but the empanadas and arepas were amazing! The empanadas had a potato/beef mixture inside, crispy on the outside, with the perfect temperature to warm you from the inside. We got the arepas with queso and it was simple perfection. The«corn cakes» were perfectly salted with cheese. For our entrée, we shared a bandeja paisa and columbian chorizo sausage with an arepa. The sausage is one of the most amazing sausages I’ve ever had. They give you lime to add to the flavor too. It was great we got this little side item because my friend Jonathan and I shared the bandejo paisa which was huge, but we got to have our own sausage and arepas. The steak that comes on the bandejo was amazing too. I’m not a big fan of tripe/pork, but Jonathan loved it. The rice and beans were perfectly flavored, warm, and complimented everything. The avocado was fresh and the egg white was crispy and salty. The atmosphere is festive and bright. The servers are really sweet. The music is Latin American and fun that makes you want to dance in your chair. I would definitely recommend trying this place!

The atmosphere is nice and the waitress was very helpful explaining the dishes. The music really makes it feel authentic. The empanadas are to die for! The steak filling with the hot green chili sauce or the«sauce» as my waitress put is like a thousand island dressing but much better. Chicken corn soup looks fantastic It tastes as good as it looks. Most soups like this are salty. This soup is lightly flavored. I really like the white and yellow potatoes. The presentation of the soup was nice too. It came with avocado, white rice, and lettuce/tomato, hot sauce(which like green chili sauce), milk, and cappers so you can add to the soup which is great by itself! Chicken flautist The flautaus where bursting with moist chicken. Normally I would need to drench then in salsa but these were so juicy they need no sauce. But if you want to add sauce try the green chili hot sauce. I’m not a fan of cheese but this application of cheese was done right. It is mild to the point where you don’t taste it until after finishing the bite. The final flavor completes the dish. Very subtle by complex flavors. I’m mad I passed this jewel with so many times with friends and family. Now I know and will share with anyone who enjoys good food!

Went here for a birthday party, night time. Décor is gaudy and service is mediocre. They also play mostly cheesy music, place converts to a night club after 10pm or so. I ordered arepas with cheese. What I got was two slightly burned patties with a little bit of cheese on top. Also ordered a couple of drinks which were ok. I would not come back to this place. Oh and they also make the waitresses skimp down their attire when it turns to a night club. I actually felt sorry for our very overweight, 50’ish something waitress who had to transform herself… believe me, it was not a pretty sight.

I asked for suggested menu item and the Bandeia Paisa was suggested. With a bit of hesitation, I thought well the devil hates a coward. So I tried it. Likely it would have been a very good meal if all but the beans, egg and plantain were properly cooked. All the Meat items were over cooked and very tough and hard to chew and swallow. And as for the rice it was under cooked and almost crunchy. Needless to say unlike most other place I have been in Atlanta, I usually bring back leftover, but that was not the case here. If you decide to go here, you likely don’t want to order the Bandeia Paisa
