Run!!! Run fast!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I purchased a Brazilian wax service from Living Social for this salon and it was hands down the worst waxing experience I have ever had. The waxing area was dirty… She didn’t bother to change the paper liner on the table and it had clearly been used. The floor was filthy and she didn’t offer any kind of drape. The wax was so hot that I blistered and could barely walk for two days. It was extremely PAINFUL. I believe she used the same type of wax used for eyebrows, ect… Rather than the wax which is made specifically for the bikini area. I have had Brazilian waxes done in the past in other salons and I have never experienced anything more than mild and temporary discomfort. I literally felt violated. She clearly had no idea what she was doing. To add insult to injury (literally) I was left with several spots she «missed». She didn’t even attempt to clean off the excess wax after she was done, but proceeded to sprinkle a heavy coat of baby powder over the area. I left mentally traumatized with a half waxed, blistered cha cha that was caked with a heavy waxy powder residue. Needless to say, it ruined the romantic weekend I had planned. Never again. Never, ever again!!!

Now that I am Unilocaling to find a better salon, I thought I should share my experiences with Plush.
I bought the 3 Brazilian wax Groupon. The first time I went, the service was great. The woman was thorough, professional and timely. I thought I had gotten a really good deal with the Groupon, but it only went down-​hill from there.
The second time I went, I had an appointment for 5:00p. I wanted one for 5:30p because I was coming home from work in Atlanta but the 5:30 was booked. I get in, miraculously, just a few minutes before 5, and they already took in the 5:30p because she showed up early! I ended up waiting 45 minutes before I was serviced. AND the woman who was taking forever with the customer was so rude! The woman who helped me was nice, but the whole experience was an extreme waste of time.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the third time was the absolute worst. Had I not already paid for 3 waxes, I would have never returned had I known the experience I was going to have at my third visit (which was about 3 – 4 weeks ago now). I was helped almost immediately, so no wait, but we get into the room and I find the person doing the wax is the new manager, so I immediately think she will do great. I could not have been more wrong. She puts the wax in a bunch of different spots, takes her sweet time returning the stick to the wax, and then attempts to rip off hair with wax that has almost dried to my skin. She was absolutely horrible. I don’t know how she is a manager she has clearly never done this before. After about 30 minutes of pain and no result, and one last horrible attempt in which she tried to rip off hair that wouldn’t budge because she let the wax dry (ouch), she opens the door to the tiny room I’m while I’m HALF NAKED, (this door opens out to the entire salon) to go get help. No respect for my privacy what-​so-​ever. The woman who helped me after her (I think) was the same rude woman from the time before. She did a better job, but barely. I came home and noticed a ton of missed spots and dried wax. Even worse, my skin was inflamed and painful for several days. I even had some infected in-​grown hairs after– exactly what shouldn’t happen when you get a wax.
The «manager» actually asked me if I wanted to buy 3 more waxes at the Groupon price… HAHAHA. I will never return again. Buyer beware — if you want consistent, quality service, do NOT go here.

I got a groupon for 3 Brazilian wax treatments. This was my 2^nd Brazilian wax but first time here with a lady named Dasha on 8÷1÷15. At my first time, at a place in Cincinnati the woman took a long time but I had NO issues after and it was not too painful. My second time here at Plush was SO painful throughout the whole wax, she was quick but it was very painful. I kept getting really hot and there was no fan (I asked) or music or anything to distract. I had to make her pause because she kept ripping away even when I clearly said I was in pain. She didn’t even hold conversation aside from when I asked her questions. The worse part of it all the wax was TOO hot throughout the whole thing and I kept saying the wax is too hot and she would just blow, with her mouth, on my skin when she applied the wax. She also told me I could only wash with cold water for the next 2 days and put Vaseline down there. I didn’t have to do that my first time. A couple hours later when I went to the restroom I noticed I was bleeding and still in pain. Then I noticed I started to get rawness and chaffing around my v-​cut/​inner thigh. The next days it only got worse (the chaffing). I went back on ⁸⁄₄ to try to cancel my next 2 services. Only 1 worker was there, Lailah, she viewed my rawness/​chaffing and also said how bad it looked but continued to state it was because I had dry skin after I emphasized numerous times I do not have dry skin in that area and dryness didn’t appear until this chaffing. I stated numerous times I felt it was because of how hot the wax was. She kept apologizing and offered to put powder on my raw skin and I told her no it would make it worse. I emphasized I wanted to cancel the other 2 treatments and needed a refund. she said she would try to call her boss to get a refund then offered me another service instead. I told her I preferred a refund. When she said that may not be possible because of groupon I started to look at getting a hair service. She insisted on me getting a facial because she said she didn’t think she would be able to do a good job on my hair (a washable blow dry) because it’s too curly and would take too long and she wants to give me a service she will do well in so I can come back. I told her I would wait until she could talk to her boss. She took my information and said she would give me a call. 24 hours later i had not heard from her. I called her and she said her boss said he cannot do a refund just another service because they cannot refund since its groupon. I asked for the boss to call me because she would not give me his information or tell me when he would be at the shop. Still in progress and still getting my chaffing to go away…, Grrrrrrrr will never buy a package before trying out a service first. I would post a pic but for obvious reasons I will not. 5 days later I’m now understanding I have a 1^st or 2^nd degree burn and its covering my entire inner thigh.

Why do I never learn my lesson about places that are offered on Groupon? I usually go to Ruby’s Beauty at Global Mall for all my eyebrows threading needs, but I thought I’ll go ahead and give Plush a chance because it’s so close to home. Before I purchased the Groupon, I read the positive reviews and was excited about my Saturday 05÷30÷15 appointment. When I got there, I didn’t get Zehra like the other reviewers. Instead, I got this older lady by the name of Daksha (?). I showed her the photo that I wanted: curve, not angled, arch brow and basically cleaning it up and keeping it full, not thin. I made sure to even grew out more eyebrows hair just in case this new person messes it up. Imagine having to go through weeks of unwaxed/​un-​threaded eyebrows. Eeek!
Daksha got started. I was starting to feel hair pulled in places that were never pulled before. After a few pulls, she got pulled away on a phone call. Okay, that was unprofessional considering that it doesn’t take that long to thread an eyebrow. When she came back and proceeded, her thread accidentally got snatched in my nose ring. OUCH!!! You would think that she would be used to nose rings because she’s Southwest Asian and be more careful. Nope… did it a second time. I had to rub my nose due to the pain that second time and then I felt a snap in some of my left hair strands near my ear that really hurt. She saw me rubbing it with tears in my eyes and not once did she apologized. Finally, here’s the kicker, she snagged my nose ring FOR THE 3RD TIME!!! And this time, she felt it snagging, but she proceeded to keep pulling! I literally had to grab her hand to stay still so that I can untangle the darn thread from nose ring b/​c she obviously didn’t care nor did she apologized again! Okay… I’m not a violent person, but considering that you pained me too many times, without consideration, nor apologies, I almost got out of my seat and pulled her hair to see if she enjoys being pained. Arrghhh! Just thinking about it makes me cringe.
Just when I thought the worst was over, I looked in the mirror and almost cried. It was not your typical appointment where it was thoroughly cleaned. It looked sooo choppy and uneven and I saw the «extra» brow hairs that she pulled… not even at the tail end, but twds the inner eye!!! I just wanted to run out of there, but being the type of person that I am, I just had to leave her tip.
Here’s a tip potential clients: Stick with your usual place and don’t even bother giving this place a try. Zehra probably does do a good job, but I guess I will never find out because Daksha already scared me to never come back again and believe me, I am telling everyone I know about my experience here. Now, I have to go through that grueling process to grow out my hair again for the next few weeks just so that I can either wax it myself or go to Ruby.

Zara is really great. I always go here for waxing and I tried brazilian waxing here today. It was a nice experience. :)

I noticed this salon just opened and I couldn’t wait to try them! I walked in today and Zara did an AMAZING job on my eyebrows, and I am VERY particular! This is officially my new spot for all things threading, and I can’t wait to take advantage of their facials when I go back! The salon was nice, neat, and clean. Certainly 5 stars!!!

They just opened plush right by my house in the publix shopping center — and I couldn’t be more delighted! The owner always makes sure that the customer is satisfied, the salon is clean and beautiful, and you feel like you’re in a high-​end salon without going too deep in your pocket, so it’s nice.
They always have specials & deals going on — and Zehra does the best eyebrows! Very convenient, fast, and efficient. Always makes sure that I leave with my eyebrows exactly as I want them. :)
