My 8 am appointment was cancelled at 7:40 this morning because my doctor had jury duty. They said they didn’t cancel them in advance because they want to keep them open«just incase» she didn’t have it. It would have been nice to know this was a possibility prior to leaving my house at 7:15 to make it there especially since jury duty isn’t something that«pops up» the day before. I’m now spending an hour in rush hour traffic back to buckhead. I have been a patient for nearly 10 years and will absolutely not be going back.

Dr. Arona is amazing! She made me feel so comfortable. Her staff is awesome. After having two babies delivered by Dr. Arona, the staff knows me by name. I love it! The ultrasound tech took her time with me, and answered every question I had. The entire staff has been awesome with my older children. I never feel like they are a burden to the staff. Everyone is welcome. The ultrasound tech made sure to make my older boys feel a part of each and every visit they came to. When I delivered my babies, Dr. Arona stayed on site the entire time. Her office is in the Gwinnett hospital campus. She was there within minutes of the nurses calling. She came and checked on me each day in a very timely fashion, and took care of everything post-baby. She returned every phone call herself, and talked me through any issues I was having. When I needed to come in spur of the moment for an issue, they were always willing to work me into the schedule. Seriously, this is hands down the best doctor I have been to.

If I could give ZERO stars — I would! The nurses are constantly asking WHY I am there, asking all kinds of health questions that they should already know and have on file, etc. At almost 6 out of 7 appointments I show up to they say they didn’t have me on the schedule, don’t have my file or that they didn’t know why I was there and had to reschedule because the ultrasound appointments were full; which was THEREASON for my visit. Seriously unorganized and unprofessional. I delivered my first child with OBGYN of Atlanta and they were AMAZING. I transferred to Preferred Women’s Healthcare because they were closer to home, but I’ll definitely be changing offices AT28WEEKSPREGNANT. I constantly told them I felt terrible and that I was having issues breathing and they just brushed it off, didn’t look into it and said it was nothing! I just received test results that I am anemic and have a hemoglobin issue; which a DIFFERENTDOCOFFICETOLDME, not them. They act like having a baby is not even a big deal. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT going to this office. You won’t get the experience you deserve during your pregnancy. Such a joke! You will constantly find yourself sitting there in the lab waiting room sharing stories with other patients about what an awful office this is.

This place USED to be good, now it is awful. I’m done. Doctors do not return phone calls(or anyone for that matter) the automated system is all messed up and sends you to the wrong doctor assistant voicemail. Can’t get forms filled out that were promised over a month ago. Something went WAY wrong at this place. Not what it used to be and am definitely finding another doctor.

I’ve been going here for four years and am officially done. Doctors do not return phone calls or follow up on lab results, appts are months out and wait times are horrendous. What’s pushed me over the edge is that I’m going through fertility treatments right now and am supposed to go in during my cycle. If I can’t go in at the ONE appt they have on this day, I miss an entire month of treatment. THISISNOTOK — they said they would help me get pregnant and now they don’t have time? If they truly didn’t want to help, they should have referred me elsewhere… now I’m loosing a month of treatment as if this wasn’t emotional enough. Find a place that cares.

Wife is done with this place, been a client for at least seven years, with a short two year break in the middle. There has been countless issues. Never seen a doctor only PA’s. Phone calls DONOT get returned, have had multiple issues with that, do not understand why they even have voice-mail. Once had to plead to get a call back before the weekend for a prescription refill as she was in pain. They assured us we’d get a call back before the weekend and sure enough they didn’t. Called last Wednesday to get another prescription refilled, again they failed. Figured we’d just wait until this week’s visit, but they called today 30 mins before her appointment to cancel as the doctor was not available. Sure they require 24 hours notice or you pay a fee, but we are just common folk. Had to beg AGAIN to get the prescription filled. Appointments are always months out. Preferred Women’s Health– YOU’REFIRED!

This was my first visit here, so hence the only four stars — I haven’t had extended care here. I was really impressed at how quickly I was checked in and taken care of(I had all my new paperwork filled out when I arrived as requested) and it only took about five minutes for me to be called into the back. I was there for a general physical and saw the nurse practitioner. The whole visit was pretty quick and painless. I was really impressed, as most doctors offices make you wait FOREVER now. Will update soon, but I was really happy with first visit.
