It’s Home Depot. They have tools and lumber. Didn’t get harassed by associates, so that was nice. Prices are so, so. Nothing to write home about.

I am from Washington state and am helping a friend put in a laminate floor, we came in today(25th May), we looked around for awhile and the guy running the floor section, J.Y.(name tag was listed as this) came to help us with all the things we needed, he knew his products, tools to use, he figured the sq ft we needed, helped my friend get her credit card app filled out, he got us all squared away, and rang us out! we then proceeded to front counter to pay for the other stuff we needed, got the suv up there, he was pulling the order, drove the order out to us, he and his helper Lindsey loaded every thing in the vehicle! 41(boxes of laminate + mis) all with a great attitude and smile, this is an outstanding employee, give him a raise, this is also why I only shop at Home Depot the last couple of years they finally got it right, good employees bring customers back. After making an online purchase and receiving it approximately 5 days later, I arrived at at the store to find a damaged product. These things happen and I understand shipping problems. So it was sent back for a new one. I was then told that it would be two weeks for a new one. Strange that the first one showed up in five days and this one would take two weeks. But it didn’t matter as I had ordered it in enough time to still receive it in time for Mother’s Day. Two weeks come and go and I haven’t heard anything. So I call the store after three weeks and they say they can’t find it, and when they do, they’ll call me. After three hours of not hearing anything back I was in town and decide to stop by the store. I don’t live close to the store. When I go in, nobody remembers talking to me. So I explain the situation to the lady and she locates my bench. It’s still in another state! I tell her that I just want a refund because this was suppose to be a Mother’s Day gift and today was mothers day. I was informed that they can’t do that and that they’ll have to get me a Home Depot gift card. Um, no. I am not going to be forced to spend my money in this store. Then I am told this is the only way they can do it since they’re store«system» doesn’t talk to their online«system». Are you serious? This seems like a giant break in communication that needs to be addressed. Especially if you are going to charge someone like myself to have something delivered to my house, of course I’m going to elect to pick it up in the store. Even though the store is 45 minutes away. If you’re going to deliver damaged goods for in-store pick-up, at least have the ability to refund someone their money should they choose to! Due to the previously mentioned break in communication, the manager proceeds to inform me that the online store will have to issue the gift card since the money wasn’t initially spent in the store. He said it’ll be there in a couple days. When it gets there they’ll have me purchase something in the store for the value of the card and then refund me the cash. Seems like a difficult process for just a refund but hey, at least it’s a plan. 10 days later(not my definition of a couple days) I finally get a phone call saying that card was there. That was yesterday. Today I make the 45 min trip back up to the store to get my card and when I get there and tell them who I am they don’t know what I’m talking about. Wow! So apparently these«customer service» people do not communicate either. Now I understand a little better why their systems don’t communicate. I attempt to explain my situation to the people behind the desk and I get a look like I don’t know what I’m talking about. I ask to speak to the manager by name, the one I spoke with previously and I’m told he won’t be there for another hour, and that I should go up the road to Starbucks and wait till then. Again,…wow. These people have my money and and don’t know where it is. The on duty manager is looking for it at this point and 45 min later it is located. And of all places, the vault! This seems like the first place I would have looked! This is where most people keep money. Or so I thought. So the transaction was made and the on duty manager gave me my cash with $ 20 extra for«compensation.» And again, Wow!

it’s a normal size store. Looks ok from outside but If you need work for the house this is the spot. They are trying to help me so we will see how it goes. As for now service is good. So 4 ½ stars is what I give this place. From looking at the tip they help out a lot.
