I have endless good things to say about this place. By far, my favorite brewery in Washington.
I walked in with one goal: a beer glass for my dad. While there, I ended up chatting to one of the owners for nearly 20 minutes and she gave me little sips of all the beers. I determined quickly that I wanted a half of the raspberry wheat on top, and a pretzel. The pretzel was fantastic. Fresh and served with stone ground mustard. I also determined quickly that my dad would LOVE their Pilsner and my little brother was gonna flip out over the Dark Persuasion. I got a bottle of each to go. I wish they’d had the Kolsch in bottles, but she said they won’t be canning it until July 1 — it is so smooth and easy to drink!
I sat in the patio area outside on a slightly cloudy day in Leavenworth. I cozied up to the fire pit table in a pair of shorts and was completely comfortable.
After enjoying my beer and my pretzel, I walked back inside and ended up chatting with another employee for another 20 minutes. She offered me some invaluable advice on my roadtrip.
It took all of my power not to nab a shirt for a family member, but I figured with 2 bottles and a glass, that’s probably the limit I should be spending here.
Stoked to find they were open at 11 so I could still squeeze in Colchuck Lake before coming back into town (I might come back this evening…).

The Icicle Brewing Company was fantastic — a great brewpub with excellent front patio and misters. The beer was delicious and the environment was relaxed. Great place to meet up with friends, and have a few pints.

Good place for beer and a snack. Great beer choices! We were here over Memorial weekend and it was crowded! But there were spots to sit upstairs inside because everyone wanted patio seating. The long line moved quickly and the service was great. Just be sure to have your ID no matter what your age! They will not sell to you without it.

Love this place! Sitting on the patio, live music, great atmosphere. Local beer on tap and growler’s to take home. The meat and cheese plate is great with a beer or two. They’re dog friendly too. Open till 10:00 pm.

The seasonal raspberry wheat was surprisingly delicous. Also liked the amber ale and the wife liked the chocolate cake porter. 2 samplers for under $ 15 (8 different beers). Not a bad deal.

Good beer, amazingly slow service. Also, one tiny cup of cheese will not suffice for a whole pretzel! I’m stuck between 3 and 4 stars, because the beer really is good…

This place was great! Better go when the weather is nice. I love their flights! Decent prices, great service. The beer is good… which is the important part! But a very «happy vibe» place and everybody around us seemed like they were also having fun too!

I’m a little biased on this place as my wife and I got married in Leavenworth and came here during our stay. The beers are incredible and the atmosphere and view are WOW!!!

My recent visit to Icicle Brewery was the best one yet! We rolled into town late on a Friday night and this was our first stop. The patio was lively, and we were able to find seats outside. It’s nice that they have heat lamps that you can operate yourself.
The issue I had last time was that the server kept repeatedly checking our IDs even though he would’ve already done so before. But that was not the case this time. He only checked our IDs once and remembered us, so that we when got refills of pitchers we could just easily order without any additional steps.
Dark Persuasion, the German Chocolate beer that I love so much is amazing. Like I said before, I am a typical PNW native who only drinks IPAs, but the Dark Persuasion is what I order every time I come here. I also learned that they do have it year-​round, but is hard to find on the other side of the mountains, so fill up on this when you can! Glad to have had a better experience here, as the staff seemed to be much more laid-​back and chill.

Service was great! Beer was good! Snacks were great! Patio was nice and quiet, plenty of room for our pup. Cheese and meat plate was really nice. We had a slight issue with some gusts of winds and umbrellas but service was attentive and polite.

WA has a lengthy list of great breweries, but none hit the taste buds quite like Icicle. They are the perfect pairing to the Bavarian theme of the town.
Literally every beer is worth a shot.

Trying local beer is always a part of my agenda when I travel to new places. Having this our first trip to Leavenworth, we made sure we make a stop at the local brewery. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. It did seem a little crowded, but people don’t stay for too long. So by the time we got our drinks, a couple tables opened up. There are seats inside and outside. Their local beer list was not too long, but I will guaranteed that there is a beer that will cater to your preferences. They had a beer on the maltier side and a beer that’s more hoppy. I chose the ‘Dark Persuasion’ because I prefer stouts and I also like chocolate. The ‘Dark Persuasion’ was described as a german chocolate cake ale. You do get to sample the beers before ordering.

Really enjoyed the food, the service and the beer!
We had the Harvest platter (carrots, broccoli, very tasty hummus, candied almonds, prunes and apple slices) and the Meat and cheese plate. Both plates had an abundance of items, not skimpy at all. We really enjoyed them both. The meat and cheese platter was delicious. And I posted a picture of it :)
We had both flights Seasonal and Original. My favorite was the 50 shades of Risqué. Mm it tastes like German chocolate cake!
They have live music around 7pm upstairs and an array of board games. Great first night in town.

While we were walking around the Bavarian Village, freezing our asses off in 35 degree weather, my boyfriend asked me if I wanted to try a hot spiced wine. And of course I responded with «hell f**ken yeah I do!» lol. So we made a quick stop at this bar and ordered 2 German Hot Spiced wines. It was $ 5 a glass and they filled your wine all the way to the top of your glass. WIN! You could see the steam coming off the wine and I was just in awe lol. I felt like an alien being first introduced to a hot alcoholic drink! I mean, where have I been all my life? I’m not a huge red wine type of person, but boy oh boy was it delicious. And it was sure fitting for the cold ass weather we were in! There were lots of tables to sit at, and the setting was just super cute.

This dog friendly, relaxed brewery is the perfect spot to grab a pint or a flight. Walk up to to bar to order and bring your spoils upstairs to a table out outside beneath a heat lamp. I personally had a flight– my favorites were the raspberry wheat and the amber. We didn’t have anything to eat here– just stopped in to enjoy a brew and play with some legos.

First impressions are everything. Especially when you take your craft beer as serious as I do.
The night we went, the brewery was jam packed because of holiday festival stuff going on in town. However, that didn’t stop the staff from being friendly and welcoming.
The had a stellar selection on tap, and even GF beer for my wife!
I indulged in a pint of the German Chocolate Cake ale, «Dark Persuasion». If you find your self at the brewery, or any place with this beer on tap, you simply MUST get a pint. It’s pretty rich, but seriously one of the best beers I’ve had in the dark ale category. Bravo, Icicle Brewing!

Atmosphere with a «walk up and order» service. If you are looking for a place to relax with friends, family, or just take a break from waking – this one does the trick. I found the prices reasonable and their selection of beer abundant. I tried the seasonal flight and loved their raspberry wheat! Crisp and refreshing. The basket of root chips and corn is also a nice snack the order as you sit and enjoy your drinks.

Love the space, the layout, the service, the beers!
OK, I’ve been around Leavenworth as much as the next tourist from Seattle. We’ve all been to the bars on the strip and theme like Bavarian taverns in the area. Most of which I would give 4 stars to. Themed, dressed, service, ok foods, and eclectic would be the word for cleanliness.
This place is a great fun restaurant and brewery that serves enough variety of beer to satisfy the IPA drinkers to light tasty non bitter beer lovers. Want a last minute pretzel with cheese? sure! made hot at the bar!
I went with a rather large group and yet, they were able to accommodate quickly all with drinks in our hands. Sorry for the different experience Charles, but I have good memories of us being here … 4 years after your initial review! It was an awesome first stop. Maybe an update review is in order? :) it was my first time here as I always tried to avoid visiting .it looked too new and full of people for me to try it… now I know and would love to come back soon!

Cool environment with nice staff! Stopped in for a flight of their beer and a pretzel. Loved sitting outside on the heated patio.
The pretzel was good, but a bit expensive. Definitely get of the mustard from the water stations, I think it’s much better than the cheese sauce it comes with.
Wasn’t a huge fan the beers, but can appreciate the sampler too. Was hoping their famous IPA would make me fall in love but it fell a bit short. Maybe the hype was too much!
Would love to stop in for a brew again, but perhaps not of their own brewing next time.

It’s the only brewery in town so most restaurants and bars have their beers on tap as well. Got the sampler but the beer isn’t anything special. Bootcamp IPA is their best but it’s just an average IPA for NW standards. Dark persuasion is their German cake beer which is good in small quantities. Girls liked the raspberry wheat. Cool place in a cool town though.
