The worst customer service experience ever. I wanted to return a dress due to a stain I discovered after purchasing it. They eventually gave me a refund, but I had to fight hard to get it.

RUDE. the people who work at this location give definitely live up to the Johnson county stereotype. It pains me to spend money at the town center location. I think I have been tortured enough and will head to the plaza or oak park mall where the sales people are nice. I think these people need a dose of customer service and possibly a visit from the reality fairy!

I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone — please avoid during your holiday shopping. While I was in the store preparing to make a hefty dent in my holiday shopping list I had the misfortune of witnessing the store manager behave incredibly rudely and condescendingly towards a well put together job applicant. There was no reason for the outburst and I felt I no other course of action than to leave the store empty handed. Unbelievable. Do yourself a favor and walk on by.

In Kansas City, this is hands down my favorite Banana store. Since it isn’t part of an indoor mall, people generally shop here with some kind of purpose, so the mall riff raff is avoided. Staff members are just the right amount of friendly and helpful without being a bother. I never feel like they are trying to up their commission by «helping» me. Merchandise and dressing rooms are impeccably maintained, and that means this Banana feels much higher-end than the one at the big mall a few blocks away. Why not five? Because many of the items I see online are not carried here. For example, I usually love the Heritage Collection, but they carry very few of these items in the store and I must order online and hope for the best. All in all, I will ALWAYS choose this location in KC for atmosphere alone.

Yet again, this BR location excels beyond all others I have ever been to. In fact, recent experiences state that I must increase my review to 5 stars. My fiancé got me some sunglasses from BR for Christmas, and purchased them online. Recently, I went to put them on and one of the lenses had lost a lot of tint, making them pretty much unwearable. However, it was only one lens… very odd. I brought them here, without a receipt and long beyond its purchase date, and they were very understanding and apologetic. In fact, they worked on the paperwork to get me a full refund, which I will use to get a new pair of sunglasses from BR(because previous pairs have been great… this one just had a flaw). I absolutely love the staff here… especially the managers.
