So they have a new owner, and it’s showing immediately. Today there was only 1 car in front of me and it took 15 minutes to get the iced sugar I was craving. i had to yell into the speaker to get them to take my order, repeated it three times, and they still got it wrong. It seems nobody knew how to run the register, so some 70 year old seemed to be the logical answer to repair it. They didn’t give me my blizzard upside down, but I didn’t complain, I just wanted to get the heck outta there. As I was leaving the lot, I farted upside down.

As far as DQ’s go this is a good one in my experience. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and it has a old school classic walk up and order window adding in my opinion a nice charm to the place. The young man who took my families order was polite and helpful to my mother who if you know her she can’t help but ask a million question when she can’t decide which was well displayed tonight… He walked her through all her questions and answered them one after another! Good job to who ever you were kid! ;) As I said the place was clean, even though this is an outside location the trash cans were emptied, and there was no seen litter. If you read my last review of a different DQ this was not the case. Here they seem to take pride in their place and maintain it in the manner DQ would be proud. As I said this is an old building with the old school way of coming up to the window and placing an order… This might not be for everyone and some might see this as a con but for me I love it and the atmosphere it brings! It does make for a tight drive through but not that big of a deal to me just keep that in mind.

I called to get the hours and the person just answered«hello?» … have they ever heard of CUSTOMERSERVICE? How about«This is Dairy Queen, How May I Help You?». I had to «ask» if it was dairy queen — come on people. Learn to answer the phone properly! THEN — went there through the drive-thru and our 2 blizzards were all jacked up. One was totally different than what we ordered and the other we specifically requested that one of the blend-ins be replaced by something else and guess what — got extra of the thing we did NOT want. What is worse is I wrote to the company through a review on the website and they forwarded the complaint to the store requesting a call back so I can get a credit and they didn’t call me… I tried calling them but no answer this time, so I emailed again and they said they didn’t know why the store owner hasn’t contacted me yet but would forward my message again — and still — NOTHING. They clearly don’t care about the customers here. I will take my business elsewhere then.

As soon as we pulled up to the drive through, as we were looking at the menu, the person on the other side of the line was completely unprofessional. The first thing out of her mouth was«What do you want?» One of the most rude tones I have ever heard. When we finally got our order, the Fab Fudge sundae was overtaken with an unbelievable amount of sprinkles and hardly any fudge. Every bite was a mouthful of sprinkles and the waffle bowl was also stale. Probably will not visit again, will be heading to Double Dip Ice Cream, which I recommend 10x more.

If you like ice cream this is your place. I have been here a million times. Always has great service and good treats. They don’t have burgers or fries, but they do have BBQ and hotdogs. This is a must stop when you want ice cream in this town.
