Paige’s Root Beer

My first visit here was great! The second not as enjoyable, the burgers were burnt and it took quite awhile for someone to acknowledge us to place our orders. But they hands-​down have the best banana shakes in town!

didn’t eat there. walked in. Wasn’t for me. plus they have a piece of paper that says cash only taped to the wall. yeah welcome to 2016 guys.

Great Burgers. OK sides. Only accept cash. I would eat there a lot more if they would only purchase a credit card machine. It’s 2016… no one carries cash.

Much better than McDonalds and Burger King. Kind of like Steak n Shake in that the hamburger is fresh and mashed down thin on the grill. Homemade root beer is a welcome change from regular soft drinks. The place is always busy but the self service ordering is fast and the food arrives fresh and hot. A little on the greasy side but still flavorful. Plan on going back to try the shakes.

Really great thin, well-​done burgers. If you like that type, these are some of the best you will find. Fries and other sides are great too and the homemade root beer is fantastic! Prices are outstanding as well — enjoy!

Fantastic burger, rings and fries. Easily as good as Five Guys but at a better price. Will definitely be back on my next trip to Inverness.

Very tasty small burgers. Order the triple for less than four dollars and match it up with cheesy tater tots. The root beer is good and was a family favorite

The burgers remind me of california, specifically in n out. And the prices are very good. RHEIR HOME Made Root beer. I Can’t Put To Words How GOOD It Was. We will be returning manny times to come

Great food! It’s burgers and fries so don’t expect a big menu. Good burgers if not a little small for a a specialty burger shop. Had the rootbeer and it was very good. Fries was lackluster straight cut fries. Ordered shakes for dessert and they were excellent. Overall a great stop for the price. On top of that the service here was great! All the guys were very attentive and helpful. They were hustling to get orders done too.

The food is great and the prices are ridiculously low. Their homemade root beer is a little sweet for me, but everything else is perfect. The service is relatively quick and everyone is very friendly. My only complaint would be that it is often pretty warm in the dining room, but the food, service, and pricing more than makes up for that.

Paige’s has the most excellent burgers! Definitely a favorite place of mine to eat! You can’t go wrong with their burgers!

We visited the Paiges on 486. We came in about 20 minutes to closing and right away we could tell she was aggravated that we wanted to eat in. She rushed us with our order and was rude to my sister.
My sister and I ordered burgers and my nephew has shrimp.
the food was below average and greasy.
What really upset me is that you are supposedly known for your root beer, however ALL of our root beers were FLAT. when i mentioned it to the lady, she said «well then… you must not have had REAL rootbeer before»…well…yes I have and it wasn’t FLAT. I wouldnt spend another dime trying them again and I suggest you dont either.

The food was good… The burgers are freshly made and well seasoned, but I have to ask the owners why not make the fries fresh cut as well? The root beer is probably the best I’ve ever had… I think the service could have been friendlier… But I will return

Finally a great burger place in Inverness. Root beer floats are awesome. They are open everyday but only til 7pm. They stay pretty busy all day so parking can get difficult. We are regulars. It’s a must try. They are cash only… ATM onsight.

We have seen this restaurant advertised all the time on TV. Our youngest son loves root beer, so we decided to take the drive and check this place out.
First, we were disappointed that they don’t accept credit cards, but of course, they have an ATM machine at $ 2.50 charge. The root beer was good, but flat. Personally, I don’t mind flat root beer, but others may not care for it. Oh, and there were no refills on the root beer. I had to tell my kids to ration their drinks as I was not paying for another glass.
The service was fast, but the burgers were tasteless. As my son said, McDonalds has better tasting burgers. The fries were good, but nothing special. All in all, a very disappointing experience. We will not make the drive again. Heck, I would not go back even if I lived around the corner from there.

Paige’s Root Beer is new to Inverness but not Citrus County. Great little burgers that are so tasty, reasonably priced. My husband had the root beer and said it was very good, not overbearing in flavor. They are known for their root beer floats and shakes. We will try those next time we visit.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat hamburger fries and floats would have liked a turkey burger since I don’t eat beef any longer settled for the $ 2 grilled cheese made with cheese from plastic wrapped slices (or at least that is what it tasted like) fries and onion rings were ok root beer float was on nothing to write home about the guys who run the place were very personable and friendly no atmosphere but looks like it would be a great place to have a quick burger– my friend had a double burger and said it was really good

Had a double cheese burger. It was quite good! We were at the new one in inverness I will take friends there for good lunch.

I found this place through Unilocal while in the area for work about a month ago, and I have been back at least 5 times since. The menu is small but everything has been perfected. It really doesn’t get any better if you’re looking for a burger and fries. The root beer is also the best I’ve had. If you are anywhere close I highly recommend stopping here. It can get busy around lunch but the staff is great and very quick to bring you your food.
