Quality has gone down. Salad bar was just sad. Wilted veggies all around. Mushy cucumbers. Got the blt chicken. Bland chicken. Burnt bacon. Dry bun. Potato was microwaved and felt like a fast food potato. And the menu itself is skewed to the blackened and spicy side. So if you don’t like spicy you’re out of luck.

Salad bar was fresh and it was well stocked. I went with a couple friends for lunch and I could have had just the salad bar it was that good. I had the smokehouse burger that was so juicy that the juices were running down my arm when I took a bite. The fries were excellent. Crispy but not burned. One of my friends had the chicken blt the chicken breast a was huge piece. The chicken was also juicy and the melted Swiss on top made the sandwich perfect. Our other friend had the chicken Bella. The chicken was very good and tender. The mashed potatoes were very buttery and tasty. And no lumps!!! I would definitely go back there. Good food and the prices are very reasonable.

Pretty decent salad bar for only $ 8. With a large selection of salads and fixings and don’t forget the pumpernickl croutons. Wings, ribs, burgers, chicken & salmon dishes are what you’re gonna find here.

Salad bar was bare. Manager look at it and walked away. Men’s room dirty. Food was so so.

They are the only restaurant with a real salad bar in the area. Its a fantastic salad bar! Clean and lots of variety! The menu items are great as well. Exactly as advertised and tastier than you would expect. I’ve always been pleased with the service and my meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I don’t know why I keep going to chain restaurants like Ruby Tuesdays and Applebee’s…they are all pretty much terrible and this Ruby Tuesday was no exception. We were seated in an awkward area right outside the kitchen which annoyed me from the beginning. Our waiter was mediocre at best. My burger was overcooked and tasted one step above burger king. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back here…

Not a big fan of this particular Ruby Tuesdays. Definitely not well managed. I went here a few months ago with my kids only because I had a coupon. The waiter was in training and seemed a little lost. The salad bar was lackluster and the food when it came was mediocre. It was thrown on the plate with no attention to presentation. My daughter spilled her drink, and ice along with a lemon were on the floor the hostess came over and kicked the lemon under the other table along with some of the ice. The entire meal went by with various employees walking on the wet carpet, covered with ice never making an attempt to clean it up. That in itself annoyed me. When the check came I felt the food was overpriced for the quantity and poor service. I will not be back.

I went here for lunch today and I was pleasantly surprised, it was really good! My friend and I wanted a light and satisfying meal but we really didn’t want to go to a diner. We were down in the ledgewood area shopping and saw Ruby Tuesdays. I have no experience with this restaurant so I was hesitant due to Unilocal reviews, but my friend said they have an AWESOME salad bar so I said«what the heck! Let’s try it!». I must say I’m glad that I did. We started off with the famous salad bar. It was spotless and filled with great salad goodies. When we got back to our booth, our server was waiting for us to get our drink order. We both ordered Bloody Mary’s which were brought over promptly. Next our server asked if we would like to try the soup. Sure!, we said. The soup of choice for both of us was chicken tortilla which we both thought was very good and it was served in a very generous bowl with chips on the side. Back to the salad bar… Oh yeah, it’s endless so you can make 1 or 10 trips up! Lunch for the 2 of us came to a very reasonable $ 32.08! In my book this is a great choice for lunch when in the ledgewood area.

OK service and good food. Drinks are served in ridiculously small glasses with too much ice. Was a slow night tonight so dinner came out fast. Had the bourbon salmon which was real good. Nice portions and cooked perfectly. Not a bad place for a good meal.

This was a very disappointing evening. My party of four was looking for a New Years Eve dinner a bit late and they had immediate seating. The first clue. Now to be fair this place is not on the main road so people don’t easily see this place and that affects popularity. When we arrived they sat us immediately. Then things slowed down. The restaurant seemed 1⁄3 full and they had only a few servers working, didn’t hear the short staff/called off excuse though. We waited 5 min for menus. Had another 5 min + before server finally came by. We were so ready we gave her our drink and dinner order, two of us went for salad(Ruby’s great bar), and realized we had no silverware, had to flag down a server for them. then another 5 – 10 min before we had to ask for our drinks, before they showed up. Finally food showed up after at least 20 min. We were there for over 2 hrs instead of what should have been a 1 hr dinner. Pros: food was excellent. Salad bar was fresh. Service responded when we asked for something, but server was in such a hurry, she threw napkins/straws on table, one straw landed in a salad. Cons: unacceptably slow service. They appeared to be overtaxed. Forgetting and not following normal service sequence is unacceptable. No manager came by to ask about satisfaction(usually see that at other Ruby Tuesdays) To me the management planned for failure that night. Bottom line: cooks were ok, restaurant management incompetent. Unless you really want their salad bar stay away.

This is actually my least favourite place to eat on the planet. I haven’t been in a while because I’ve found the service to be bad and the salad bar to be gnarly. Went today out of desperation and hope that it had improved, and it’s still horrible. Salad bar looks like it’s been out for hours, and everything was empty. Soup is so salty it burns your throat. This is the last time I’ll go to one of these again. On the bright side the waiter was nice, poor guy.

We stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday and it wasn’t very crowded at all. We ordered an appetizer and it took forever for it to come out and the server did apologize for the delay. Other patrons came and sat at the bar and they received their appetizer and meal before our entrée(a burger) came out. I didn’t see many servers on duty which is why our server didn’t check in as often as she should have. Once our food came out, it was good. Hot and tasty. Overall the food was good but they seemed understaffed.

We waited over half an hour for our food to come, and the place wasn’t busy. Half of the food wasn’t hot. The waiter kept disappearing, and he didn’t refill our drinks until we were ready to leave. This used to be a good place, but we won’t be going back.

We used to love this place. Never used to think of it as a chain because there food was always really good. However, the last 2 times we have been to RT, this one in Succasunna, specifically, it has sucked, big time! The food was mediocre at best, burnt burgers, rolls were slimy and greasy, wait staff is really slipping too. waiting for 15 mins for a drink order… then waiting forever for an appy that never arrived, then our entrées, ehhhh barely edible. Sadly, NEVERAGAIN… oh, and I think this place is getting dirty…

Service not great. The place was not busy. Waiter kept disappearing. I ordered an appetizer. When it arrived we had no dishes to eat it off of. Had to get a person busing tables for plates. Even the runner that brought it didn’t ask us about plates, just dropped it and walked away. Our entries finally came I got the Pretzel Burger, not that great! My wife had Mango Salsa chicken with coconut fried shrimp which was good. We ordered drinks and no coasters?! Will not return

Ruby Tuesday’s has stepped up their game. I love this place for lunch or dinner. I have a plan when I go there. I get the blackened tilapia with mango salsa which is awesome. It comes with 2 sides and I always get the spaghetti squash and the salad bar. The salad bar has been revamped. It’s got a ton of stuff and the ultimate sneeze guard which makes is almost impossible for some to reach items in the back. But anyway, I usually eat a ton of salad and then take the tilapia and squash to go. Two meals for $ 12 cannot be beat.

Awful, awful, awful. The food was inedible(except the salad bar which is always fine). The four-cheese flatbread was so soggy it could not be picked up, just drooped with oil and undercooked bread. Yet ot was too dense to cut with a kife and fork. I took one bite only. It had excessive amounts of garlic.(And I am Italian and use garlic in everything). Their garlic – in excess of a teaspoon per segment of bread, so about 8 teaspoons + in total) – was the pre-chopped variety preserved in a vinegar brine that overpwers the flavor and leaves an aftertaste. I am not a food snob. I think Burger King’s Chicken Caeser Salad is great. Love Panera, too. But today’s food at Ruby Tuesday was not fit to be served in an elementery school cafeteria. And the service! Horrible. Everything took too long, made worse by an unctuous waiter who overpromised everything. When we arrived we saw him chasing three women in the parking lot with the bill folder and cash. I thought it was odd. If cash is left it it usually meant to pay the bill and include the tip. I bet they hated the service also and left a small tip and he was chasing them with«their change.» Save your money. Patrons deseerve better than this, and can get better almost anywhere. EditDelete

My wife and I went here before going over to the nearby movie theaters. Perhaps it was an off night but we really got the impression that the server could care less about serving us. Other people near us who were seated after us had their orders taken first. He was slow bringing us our orders. I dropped a spoon on the floor, and even tried to flag down another server. That server responded with, «its not my table». When we paid the bill, our server’s tip reflected the amount of effort that he put into serving us. We cannot recommend this restaurant.

So recently we came back here for 2 friends birthday. the group was 12 and I was hesitant to come here with that many people. So for our sake we called ahead and let them know that we wanted to bring that many people. It wasn’t as bad as i though. Since we called ahead they gave use a group of tables that fit everyone fairly comfortably. So moral of the update? If you do go with a group larger than 5 I would 100% call and make a reservation. This way people aren’t sitting on top of each other when you get there.
