Dope street style tacos and even better wings. Hip looking inside with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the great food. Much likes Stuey McBrews, this place is going to last in downtown LS for years to come!

This is a fun new place, or new to me, that I will be back soon for & I’ll bring the family! I had one taco & one slider so I could try both & they were both equally amazing! The taco was the «olé Softy» w/​chicken & the slider was the «Firehouse» w/​beef. I was trying to pick a favorite, but that just became too difficult so I gave up! There are so many more I want to try that I’ll have to come back real soon so I can sample others! They do have smoked wings w/​many different sauces, a few salads, kids meals, & some funky sides that all sound good. Give it a try if you want that is tasty, different, & NOT BORING!

Quality food and ingredients with a reasonable quickness. I have no complaints. Everyone I’ve taken here says they like it.

Frankie’s just had a «grand re-​opening» last week. They’ve added a burger option for meats, a few new sliders, and some tacos with fried corn shells (fried there, not pre-​made stacked shells). You can now get any meat in any taco or slider (before, each had a specific protein). I’ve had about 80% of the new stuff so far and it’s all as good as anything else I’ve had there. Portion sizes remain rather large, and prices haven’t gone up that I can notice.

First time visiting this restaurant tonight. I’ll keep it short. We picked four random tacos off the menu and an equally random order of wings. ALL OF IT was a flavor explosion in our mouths and we wanted to go back and order one of everything else. Super fast. Super Good. Super Value! Plenty of untried items to make me go back many times in the coming month to try it all.

Nice place. Chicken BBQ tacos, pork BBQ tacos, the Corlione… Very tasty and reasonably priced. Friendly, helpful staff. Very much worth a visit.

I love their other place, and the wings here are excellent !!! I love tacos, but their tacos have a ton of weird toppings instead of being normal. I don’t want cabbage or feta cheese on a taco!!!

Food and service was good, plenty if choices. Only reason for a 3 star is price. There are MANY places in the metro to get street tacos and they are almost always $ 1.50-$ 2 per taco where here they are around $ 3. These are just small street tacos so that $ 3 per ads up very quickly if a grown adult wants to get full.

Great variety of sliders, wings and tacos. Fantastic flavors, just need a shredded beef option for tacos. I hear fish will soon be in the menu.

I would give it a 3.5 if it were possible. The tacos were good. I had the sweet and sour chicken taco. Very good. I’d change the tortilla. The wanton fries were much better than expected. Addicting at that. My boyfriend had the beef avocado and loved it. He also tried the Korean beef and chicken like them both.

Hubby and I had an awesome casual lunch date here. The Counter server was really friendly and informative (which I always appreciate!). He recommended the smoked wings, and explained that the menu is all a la crate, and since they serve street taco portions, 2 – 3 per person was recommended.
We loved the Korean BBQ Wings! Holy moly– so tender and had intense flavor, and crunchy skin. Yum yum. Will definitely order that again! I’m so glad the cashier raved about them. After we ordered I noticed there was another flavor not on the board menu that I saw on the computer screen/​ad display. Next time!
We ordered 5 tacos and shared them (Romantic, I know… And this strategy gives us a chance to try more of the menu.)
Today, my fave was the Korean Beef BBQ. The ratio of meat to shredded vegetable and sauce was just right. Hubby loved the BBQ pork and Chipotle Chicken.
I do wish the tortilla had been warmed up, but that is the only off note. Perhaps I’ll ask them to warm it next time. The sliders look yummy too. I already know what to order next time.

Absolutely the best most original tacos I’ve had! They were spectacular! I had the Uncle Jesse Beef and the Apple Pecan Chicken, oh my god, I thought I had died and gone to taco heaven! And the Asian slaw? Yum! I will definitely be back to eat my way through the menu then start over. A grand slam addition to downtown Lees Summit! Oh! Hubby says the wings are scrumptious too! Double grand slam!

I was really surprised by Frankie’s. I initially avoided this restaurant because the Unilocal pictures (food) looked less than appetizing — my hubby insisted I try and I loved their tacos. Really creative and unique flavors that even our 8 year old liked. We will be back! Love how you can sit in the window and people watch — cool!

Absolutely amazing tacos. We had the Korean Beef, Walnut Apple Chicken, El Niño, and another that I can’t remember and they were all fantastic. Stuffed full of authentic and creative flavor… not an ounce of bland.
These were seriously some of the best tacos I have ever ordered. Also tried the wonton fries… unique take of fries but really just fried wonton strips.
Overall…$ 16-​ish for 5 tacos and fries split between 2 people. So dang good. We will definitely be back!

WOW!!! Spinach and strawberry salad. Was fantastic. Best fast — ish food around. Lee’s Summit is lucky to have them here.

Frankies well not disappoint! Tacos have so much flavor and variety. Haven’t been able to get past the tacos in the first 4 visits. Love the different options. Everything seems fresh. Place is clean and staff is very helpful! I will continue to eat there weekly, and would recommend this to anyone! Great place!

Eclectic place, interior reminds me of home (Austin)! Good is great and very friendly staff. Definitely try the Firehouse slider and the Corleone chicken taco. I’ll definitely go back next time I fly into town.

Seriously $ 3 for a mini taco, this place won’t last long. Cool idea but I’ll stick with a real taqueria for street tacos.

I like the small bites concept. The tacos are presented like street tacos but they are creative little sandwiches and very tasty. The slaw was good too.
The menu items looks creative and I will come back to try the sliders.
The décor is a little bland and the gray walls too dark for the small space but the food will make me overlook this

Maybe it’s because I just had some of the best street tacos I’ve ever had two days prior to trying this place, but I was really underwhelmed.
Décor — flat gray walls with «place wall art here» signs hanging by blue painters tape. Metal chairs and a mix of high and low top tables.
Menu items — the menu seems pretty good. Beef, Chicken, and Pork are the choices for tacos and sliders. They also have salad and wings.
I asked the order taker how large the portions are and he replied with 4″ tortillas and slider buns. I assumed, based on the price that the portions would probably be pretty good sized.
Pork Taco with Korean style toppings ($ 2.65 per taco) — I bet there was no more than 1 ounce of meat on the store bought tortilla. It was then piled with an Asian slaw and topped with dressing. The lukewarm meat and cold slaw both tasted good, but the tortilla was bland and took away from the overall taste.
Cuban Pork slider ($ 2.99 per slider) — Unfortunately it was the same thing. Cold and bland store bought bun slopped with barely any meat and a bunch of slaw. Flavor was okay at best.
I paid $ 6.14 for a very small taco and slider. I think they might need to rethink their pricing because when it comes to value for my dining dollar this place is not worth it.
