The St Luke’s Breast Center staff was exceptionally friendly. My Mammogram tech Lisa made me feel so comfortable and she did amazing fast quality work. I took advantage of the 3D mammogram(I highly recommend) and appreciated that she explained the difference between 2D and 3d in thorough detail… Yes, I absolutely would come back again. It was a very positive experience(and other exams I have been contorted and miserable.). This is usually a dreaded medical exam… No longer!

I wish I could give this place a zero. Before going here you need to ask yourself«would you get on a plane piloted by a drunk clown?» They may have snazzy scrubs and a new bldg. but that is as far as it goes. Very bush league. They don’t even have pillows in all of the rooms. My wife waited an hour for help with a very severe migraine. She tapped out on her own meds before coming to this shit hole. Waited an hour before seeing a nurse. Finally got some meds. We’ll see. Don’t come here unless you want to die. Read the other reviews. These aren’t doctors/nurses, they are factory workers who think they are special. No compassion for patients.

I came here to the ER with crazy abdominal pain. They immediately brought me a wheelchair and got me into a room. The nurses were super sweet and helped me get from A to B while asking questions to figure out what was wrong. They got me into the bed and put fresh warm blankets on me, dimmed the lights, and gave me pain meds so I was comfortable. Next thing I knew it, I was passed out. Unfortunately, I had to be admitted to the hospital. This place was just renovated and it shows! The place was super clean and was a very nice hospital. It didn’t take long to get admitted either which was a relief. I had to get a bunch of tests done and got the same nurses through my stay. OMG they were so sweet. Since I was in pain, I had to make sure that once I got the pain medication, I wanted to make them laugh. They would check on me periodically and if I really needed them, they came to my room so quickly. All of the staff there is incredible. The doctors were super informative and made sure I understood everything that was going on. Of course, I hate being in a hospital and not in my own bed BUT everyone made it super comfortable for me. If I must go back to the hospital, this will be the place to go.

My daughter already has a life threatening neurological condition, and we went to ER because she fell 5 times in last 24 hours and hit her head very hard on concrete on the last fall. We waited several hours while we watched people with trivial issues come in after us, and be called back before us. Obviously a twisted ankle is of greater importance than a head injury? We finally walked out and went elsewhere. They need to fire their triage nurse. She clearly did not understand the seriousness of our situation. This is the 3rd time I’ve walked out of their ER. Never again. They used to be good but not anymore.

This used to have a terrific ER& hospital. But, you couldn’t pay me to take any family members there anymore. It’s more than obvious that St. Luke’s has cut way back on staff, thus on medical services, since the head person over all of the St. Luke’s hospitals, & who was a doctor retired & a non-medical financial wizard replaced him. Had my husband there twice this fall. Once they couldn’t figure out what was wrong, so told me just to take him home although he needed medical attention. 2nd time, they claimed there were no beds available even though, again, he needed to be hospitalized. After throwing a fit & threatening to take him to another hospital, they all of a sudden found a room for him. Took my mom, who is quite mentally sharp but older & has a lot of medical problems to their ER over Thanksgiving as she was having symptoms of a possible heart attack. I stayed with her for a few hours that night and was told she would be moved to a room soon. Believing that, I went home to check on my husband & get a little rest. When I returned in the morning, she was still in an ER room. Of course with the noise, she had not slept, nor for any medical reason was she given anything to eat(Not giving her food or liquids had nothing to do with any potential tests.) Also, there wasn’t anyone checking on her as they were waiting for a daytime specialist to see her, which happened the middle of the following afternoon. I was told that since the heart wing was closed for over the holiday, there were no available rooms there so they kept her down in the ER. I felt awful for leaving her alone thinking they were going to move her to a room as promised. After throwing a fit that next morning, they finally got her to a room. Of course she was exhausted, thirsty & starving. I could post other horrific experiences from friends, but I imagine any of those honest to God experiences will just be deleted anyway. Whatever, the newly appointed financial god of St. Luke’s will discover that word of mouth travels faster than anything so his cutting back on staff, thus necessary services for sick people, is not going to help him attain his big increased income goal by 2015. What a horribly, sad disaster.

St. Luke’s is ranked #9 in the nation, and it shows. Free mammogram screenings, great waiting room service in the breast care center, 3D mammogram technology. I needed a diagnostic, and they found me a doctor who took me same day. My waiting was very brief. I wasn’t done checking in, hooking up my iPad, or drinking my complementary drink when it was time to be seen. Quick, quality service.
