A wonderful park! Very beautiful. The dog area is awesome! Three different areas, shaded, water and well fenced. Our four dogs love it and we do too!

Off the beaten path and great for adventuring nature lovers… closes at 8 and there is a 3.8 mile river trail that has grills/picnic Pavillion. Staff was super nice… two entrances one off 27 and the other at the end of a country road.

Very pretty place to just get away and take a nature walk, or let your dog play in the dog park. There’s also a nice shaded playground for kids, as well as tennis and basketball courts. The butterfly garden is pretty.

Okay nature and dog lovers… it doesn’t get any better than this, unless you own a botanical garden and your butler walks the dog! This place can easily be an all day event. There is a HUGE dog park with several pens, including one for disabled dogs and disabled owners! Sweet, I didn’t have to walk far from handicap parking! The pens had a nice mix of sun/shade and very large… and don’t worry that your forgot your water bowl… they got them there too! Also, there is a dog bathing station! As for the rest of the park… I went for a walk. Exercise stations, playground, playing fields… they even have a radio controlled flying area for those that have«big boy toys.» Plenty of niche’s to have a picnic… The list goes on for this place… HEADSUP… the walking trail is LONG. I walked part of it for some light exercise, and my body was saying«are we there yet!» The walking trail is truly stunning with wild life and various vegetation… Yes this is in the middle of Nowhere and on the edge of Leesburg. But it is worth the trip! oh, and you aren’t going to find this easily on GPS… search for University Ave OR Legacy Blvd in Leesburg. This park is located on the southbound side of Rt 27

This is an out of the way place but well worth the trip for the entire family. It has a huge dog park-even one for disabled dogs! They have tubs to bathe the little ones and it is nice and shady. My dogs love it!
