We were blown away by Trinity House Café. We were meeting friends for a late breakfast or brunch, and suggested a bunch of options, and was surprised that they preferred this one. It’s much more than a coffee shop which is what I thought it was. We came in Sunday morning at 10, and were the only group there. By 11 it was getting crowded. They had about a half dozen brunch size entrees, and prices were around $ 10-$ 13 each, with several options on the ala carte menu. The $ 13 smoked salmon platter came w/sausage or fruit, and the $ 4 dollars ala carte pancakes(three big ones) was a good deal. They had awesome coffee, and even the decaf was good. Trinity House has lots of seating, including two large couches in the front room that would easily seat a party of eight, so it is good for groups. They have a play room in the back with seating for parties with kids. This cool old house has been turned into an awesome little café, and we’ll definitely be back. A warning — the tiny private lot in back somehow accommodates 5 or 6 cars at a time(double parked), but there is lots of free parking nearby on evenings and weekends; but parking would be iffy during business hours during the week.

I realy love the atmosphere of this coffee house/café. As it is in an old house, you can sit by the fire and sip your coffee while looking at lovely artwork. Strongly recommend.

Such a great place. Sit anywhere in the whole house and enjoy your coffee, food or Sunday brunch selections. Service can be slow so go with an open schedule and a friend or good book.

My favorite local café. Worth the trip as a haven with something for everyone — both on the menu and in the ambiance. Menu: Inventive dishes for all tastes. Specialty hot and cold drinks. Beer and wine. Ambiance: Quiet rooms for studying and working, plus an enclosed upstairs playroom for children who need to burn some energy. Endless books to read on site for spiritual growth and development. My heart AND stomach are full after leaving this place. I guess this explains why I love it so much!

My platonic ideal of a coffeehouse. I came here for a quick latte, and ended up joyfully spending hours here, re-upping my drink three times. One could spend days sipping coffee here, perusing the books and art, and letting your little ones explore the playroom. Bravo, bravissimo!

A really charming spot(I didn’t have food: only coffee) and totally welcoming to families. In fact, while waiting for your coffee a toddler may come up and say hello, just because you’re there. It’s pretty great.

Happened upon this adorable place after the art festival. I had seen it driving in and was so glad I remembered it since we were not going to take our newborn &3 yo into Lightfoot. Just not in that kind of mood. We had yummy sandwiches, my tea had an almond milk/coconut milk froth kinda thing on my chamomile lavender tea, ugh it was like a spa in a cup! Smelled and tasted heavenly! I felt transformed to a place in France. Love these old historical places. The steps there are not for the handicapped, but they have a back yard w picnic tables that you can go to instead, it’s just a hike to the top floor for the restrooms and play room. So excited about our accidental find! Can’t wait to go back! Small but meaningful menu, so check it out on-line before you go.

Very unique coffee house. I ordered an iced mocha, coffee itself was somewhat lukewarm but nevertheless satisfying once the ice cooled it down. I also ordered a chicken and cheese sandwich(bland, I know), but quickly lost my appetite after accidentally eating the wrong sandwich. However, the actual sandwich I ordered was pretty good. My biggest concern with the coffee house is its atmosphere. A repurposed old fashioned house was somewhat cozy, but I soon realized that they were a very religious based shop. I have nothing against Catholicism, in fact I was raised Roman Catholic, but overall it felt very weird, and somewhat unsettling. It almost felt unwelcoming to those who aren’t religious. That being said, the people who work there are really nice and welcoming. In conclusion, it was good, not great, but it couldn’t hurt to give it a try

Great coffee(and only $ 1.50 for a small cup), lots of open spaces upstairs and down to relax, and a rather expansive menu for a coffee shop! I usually get a regular cup of coffee and it’s pretty good! Lots of sweet treats to choose from, as well as full on breakfast & lunch/dinner options. I love the fact that it’s in an old house in downtown Leesburg. It adds lots of character! And very frequently they have musical guests throughout the week. Outdoor seating too!

Please tell me why someone goes to all the trouble to create a darling atmosphere, great location, good theme idea with the intention of serving food in the space and then doesn’t take the time and creativity to serve food with pride? There is a limited menu, which I understand and appreciate; but then what you decide to serve should be creative, or family favorites that screams of love from the kitchen. It seems all the creative juices when into elaborately naming all the menu items but no concerns about what is actually IN the items. So what did I get? The boldly named Emmitsburg; a few slices of cheese and ham on white bread with all the presentation of a school cafeteria, ‘dressed’ up with chips and a pickle. There’s only five sandwich choices on the menu; shouldn’t they all be specially designed with something more interesting than your choice of chips or apple? Cutesy is nice, but for heaven’s sake(no pun intended) try a little creativity. For foodies, nothing is more gratifying that seeing a new place do well. This Café is so inviting from the outside and cute on the inside; but we don’t go out to eat cute.

This is the most precious quaint place just outside the courthouse steps. I had the curry pita sandwhich with iced tea. The service was friendly, the food was made with love and the facility is full of character. I enjoyed it very much. Make a stop and make it often.

An amazing little place to wind down after a busy day. Great coffee, and pastry selection. Prices are reasonable too. They have the most delightful collection of Christian story books for children here as well. Set in an 18th century historical landmark house right in the middle of Leesburg, VA, there’s a relaxing feel to Trinity House. I really appreciate the easy listening 1930’s email music as well. Emma was very helpful and welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit.

So roughly a month ago, I tried to go with my husband and they were randomly closed during their normal business hours. Tonight we tried it again and I am SO glad. This place is so cute inside with tons of seating throughout this old houSe. There’s a fireplace in the first«living room» area on the left when you first walk in and big comfy sofas. I ordered a soy chai tea latte and my husband ordered an iced coffee with mocha. We shared a lemon bar. First of all, I took a big slug of his iced coffee and it was AMAZING. Easily the best iced coffee I’ve ever tasted. He added some milk and sugar but I could have drank it plain. It was awesome! The lemon bar was awesome and super sweet. I liked it with my chai because the chai was warm, smokey, and spicy so the sweetness of the bar balanced it out. In every room there’s newspapers, magazines, and books to check out. There is no TV so if that’s something you’re looking for in a coffee shop then maybe that’s a negative for you. Their menu looks very vast as well but we didn’t ordered sandwiches or anything. We are planning on going for brunch on Sunday. There’s also a «play room» upstairs but we went pretty close to closing time and the light was off so we didn’t get to really see it well. I love the concept of a play room though! Overall, it’s an AWESOME place and, by far, my favorite coffee shop!

My friend and I met at Trinity House Café for a light lunch and were not disappointed. She ordered a latte and I had the best darn cup of tea of my life. Our salads arrived and both were fresh and tasty. The renovated 18th century home is beautifully decorated and offers several rooms where customers can sit and sip comfortably. I also appreciate that the Trinity House is non profit and donates 100% of the proceeds to charity. How refreshing in this day and age! Will definitely go back again.

Stopped in for coffee and light lunch today with the fam. The historic building is full of architectural interest with tall ceilings, huge windows, and nooks and crannies on three different levels to explore. The kids loved the upstairs play-room. Food was simple, tasty, and appeared to be scratch made. Seating choices outside as well(on the porch facing Market St) and on side yard lawn as well. Hooray for another family-friendly eatery in historic downtown! If only they served beer…
