I live in Paxton, very close by this farm, and drive by it several times per week. It is a nice place with friendly people and we decided to cut down our own tree here one year. Perhaps their policies have changed, but when we went, it was $ 60 to cut down a tree then you had to pay $ 1 or $ 2 per cup for hot chocolate or cider. I don’t think this is fair. After paying $ 60 for a tree, you would expect a nice cup of hot chocolate or cider for free. So, while the people there were kind and helpful, and the dogs were cute, I don’t think you should have to pay more money for a small cup of hot chocolate for your kids after spending $ 60 on a tree. The tree wasn’t any better than trees I’ve cut down at other local farms.
